| Decadent Desire |
| Someone beckons to me from the darkness,
Whispering my name upon the breeze. Urging me to leave my mortal safety, Journey to a place I have not been. I hear his footsteps - soft outside my window His darkest desire drawing me near, Persuading me to allow him entrance Erasing the lingering doubts and fears. Willingly I open the door to my soul Handing him the key of my humanity, He enters, descending right into my core To a secret place deep inside of me. His immortal kiss pervades my flesh, The emptiness consuming my purity. I emerge from within a creature of the night, To dwell with him for eternity. ~*~ Copyright2004M.A.Anderson Brisbane, Australia Word count: 111 |
