09.11.09 -In November Michael will have a new collection of poems published called Green Tea America from European indie press New Polish Beat. His epic poem The Winter King will also be published by Shadow Archer Press this Christmas.

08.20.09 -Two of Michael's poems were featured in the anthology Valium from Virgogray Press. The poems are "December 25th, 2003" & "Miracle Drug."

06.03.09 -Michael will have his art exhibited at this year's Black Light Art Party to be held on Saturday July 4th, 2009 at The Calcasieu Gallery located at 214 Broadway, San Antonio, TX 78205. The event begins at 8 PM. His work will be exhibited through the end of August.

05.13.09 -Michael will be appearing on Voice of the People Radio on the UFO Paranormal Radio Network with host November Hanson. The show will broadcast live May 30th, 2009 at 8 PM Central Time & 6 PM Pacific Time. 04.15.09 -Michael will be performing & hosting at this year's Austin International Poetry Festival. The Festival held in honor of National Poetry Month is in it's 17th year and is the largest of its kind in the U.S. Hundreds of participants and thousands of attendees descend on Austin for 4 days of literary and poetic mayhem--from traditional to slam-- in several venues scattered throughout scenic, fun Austin. This year Michael will co-host with Marc Olmsted at Huston Tillotson University on April 25th and perform at the poetry and music showcase at Maria's Taco Express.

04.05.09 -Michael will perform in this year's EXSE Spoken Word Showcase airing on Austin Channel's 10, 11 & 16. The poetry showcase premiere's April 24th on Channel 10 @ 3:30 PM.

03.15.09 -Michael will be reading at Gemini Ink on April 19th, 2009. The event is sponsored by Virgogray Press and hosted by Gemini Ink. This event is held in support of Michael's two latest collections Ghost Roads and The Terrorist, and in celebration of National Poetry Month. 02.11.09 -Michael's poem, "Irene," has won an honorable mention in the 2009 Awaken the Sleeping Poet contest hosted by the Laurel Crown Foundation of San Antonio, Texas, and has been invited to read at the ceremony which will be held on Saturday April 4th, 2009 at the San Antonio Art Museum. 01.30.09 -The Terrorist is now available from Virgogray Press. Michael will be reading at this year's Austin International Poetry Festival. More details on that to be announced soon.
