Segregation of baseband data channels on the NIC is attainable, and can be used for proper radio interface and modulation. As for the aspects of the RF transceiver, a modified radio that cleanly modulates a carrier at high speed, which has a high enough IF bandwidth will relay the NICs signals with minimal collisions or distortion. These transceivers have already been successfully demonstrated in commercial lines of wireless networking equipment.
