Myotismon's Heir Chapter Eight
***Izzy***
"Lighting Claw!" Gatomon yelled, jumping into
the air and slashing her claws on Triceramon's forehead.
He calmly swiped her away with his tail.
"Nova Blast!" Greymon roared, spewing out a
large ball of fire.
Triceramon blocked the blast with his arm. "Ha! Fire
and normal attacks can't hurt me!" He boasted.
"Only water can!"
Then he realized what he was saying. "Opps!" He
gasped, "I didn't mean that!"
Garurumon and Penguinmon got the hint, though. Garurumon
instantly De-digivolved and then Warp- Digivolved into
MetalGarurumon.
"What are they doing?" Matt asked, Jessica
shook her head.
"I'm not sure." She yelled to him, "But
ever since I've came to the Digiworld, I've known they
know more about it them us. I think we'd better trust
them!"
Penguinmon jumped into MetalGarurumon's back as he rushed
towards Triceramon. "Ice Needles!" She shouted,
her feathers turning into stiff needles and shooting
straight at Triceramon.
"Ice Wolf Claw!" MetalGarurumon opened his
mouth and sprayed a river of ice out of it.
The attacks hit him and he was frozen solid.
"Quickly!" She yelled to MetalGarurumon, who
nodded.
"Metal Wolf Claw!" He shouted, and it hit
Triceramon dead on. The ice shattered and he fell on his
knees, weakened considerably.
The other Digimon joined in the battle now that their foe
was weak.
"Hand of Fate!" Angemon shouted, shooting a
beam out of his hand.
"Electro Shocker!"
"Nova Blast!"
"Lighting Claw!"
"Slamming Tusk!"
"Volcanic Blast!"
"Meteor Wing!"
"Needle Spray!"
"Scissor Claw!"
Triceramon, though weakened, still was able to fight off
the attacks. He blocked them all with his scales.
"I said water, not ice, you idiots!" Triceramon
laughed.
***Joe***
My arm felt like it was on fire! I couldn't get up, I was
in so much pain. Gomamon refused to Digivolve until I was
alright. Even though he'd be more help to the group if he
did, I appreciated his concern.
"I said water, not ice, you idiots!" Triceramon
laughed.
We looked at each other. None of us had a 'water'
Digimon. Not really, anyway.
"Tri-Horn Attack!" He shouted. Three horns shot
out and hit Greymon, Garurumon, and Birdramon directly in
the chest. They de-digivolved back to their Rookie forms.
Sora, Matt, and Tai ran over to help them.
"Tri-Horn Attack! Tri-Horn Attack! Tri-Horn
Attack!" Nine horns shot out, in series of threes,
and surrounded Tai, Matt, and Sora, along with their
Digimon. Trapping them back-to-back inside a tight cage
of iron horns!
"We're trapped!" Sora cried. She was kneeling
in the middle of the circle, and was finding it hard to
breath.
Tai and Matt pushed against the metal in vain, and their
Digimon just groaned in pain.
"Matt!" Jessica shouted, running towards the
cage. "Are you alright?"
"Tri-Horn Attack!" Again, three horns shot out.
This time they hit Penguinmon, Kabuterimon, and Tuskmon.
Kabuterimon and Tuskmon De-Digivolved back to Tentomon
and Gazimon, and even Penguinmon De-Digivolved, back into
a Digimon none of us had ever seen, a small white bird
that looked like a pigeon, or a dove. It's beak was
yellow, and it's eyes were an ice blue. It's feathers
were completely white, and it had small legs.
"Penguinmon!" Jessica shouted, turning to her
weakened friend. "Are you okay?"
Izzy and A.J. rushed over to their Digimon, who were near
Jessica.
"Tri-Horn Attack! Tri-Horn Attack! Tri-Horn
Attack!" Nine horns shot out, in series of threes,
and surrounded Jessica, Izzy, and A.J., along with their
Digimon. Trapping the, also back-to-back inside a tight
cage of iron horns! A.J. rammed the horns, but all he
acomplished was getting a bruised arm.
Now only Jordan, Mimi, T.K., Kari, Jacob, and I were
free!
"Tri-Horn Attack!" And again, three horns shot
out. This time they hit Angemon, Gatomon, and Kuwagamon.
They De-Digivolved back to Patamon, Salamon, and Kunamon.
Kari, T.K., and Jacob rushed over to their Digimon, at
the same time when Tai shouted. "No! Stay away from
them! That's what he wants you to do!"
"Tri-Horn Attack! Tri-Horn Attack!" Only six
horns shot out this time, and surrounded the three little
kids, along with their Digimon. Trapping the small
children and their Digimon back-to-back inside a tight
cage of iron horns too!
Now there were only three of us left!
"Tri-Horn Attack!" Togomon and Monochomon were
down.
And, as he did the other nine, Jordan and Mimi were also
trapped in a cage-like circle of horns with their Rookie
Digimon. Jordan tried jumping over the horns, but they
were too tall. I was alone.
Triceramon laughed a laugh that made my stomach cringe.
"Now, to finish what I've started!"
Gomamon looked at me, I was struggling to stand despite
my wound. "Joe, be careful!"
I grinned, though my mind was racing. "No problem,
I'm always careful!"
Triceramon sneered. "Well then. Let's see if you're
careful enough to dodge this! Tri-Horn Attack!"
I gasped as the three horns sped towards him. I jumped to
the side and fell, the speeding horn just bearly missed
me. Suddenly I realized, I couldn't stand, my arm was in
too much pain!
"Why are you only attacking Joe?" Gomamon
shouted to the huge Digimon. He refused to Digivolve
until he knew.
"Because, I must destroy the weakest of the group
before I destroy the strongest. If I destroy the weakest
first, then go on to the second weakest, and so on, when
I get to the strongest, he'll be easier to defeat!"
The entire group looked confused. Weren't you supposed to
beat the strongest first? Triceramon was totally
confusing us!
Gomamon cleared his throat. "Aren't you supposed to
kill the strongest first?" He asked.
"Hey!" Tai shouted, rattling the horns,
"Don't be giving him any ideas!"
Gomamon chuckled weakly.
"Time to die!" Triceramon shouted, turning to
the two of us. Helpless, vulnerable little me and an
un-Digivolved Gomamon .
"Tri-Horn Attack!" Triceramon shouted, shooting
three more horns at me, and I couldn't get away!
"Joe!" Gomamon shouted, as the Crest of
Reliability exploded in black light from under my shirt.
Gomamon was glowing as well, and the others, from their
cages, stared in awe.
I had no idea what was happening, until what happened
next. Then every thing became clear.
Gomamon shone brightly with black light, and slowly he
rose in the air. "Gomamon! Warp-Digivove to.....
Marine-Angemon!"
We all, human and Digimon, gasped as the light faded and
Gomamon-my little Gomamon-was reveiled as a Mega Digimon.
MarineAngemon was a small, pink, little angle with big
green eyes and a red heart on his chest. He only had two
small wings, which were as pink as his body, and he had
my legs, just a small tail. His eyes reflected Gomamon's
playfulness, that's about the only way I recognized him.
White light shone all around him, it reminded me of the
time when Patamon first Digivolved into Angemon, when we
were fighting Devimon. I felt like T.K., and my Angemon
was MarineAngemon.
Triceramon took a couple steps backwards.
"MarineAngemon!" He gasped, "You're small,
but you're also strong! Your Smiley Face attack can make
even the most evil Digimon laugh, and your Ocean Love has
the force of a tidal wave! You usually do Smiley Face to
make the pain less strong before you destroy them!"
Marine Angemon nodded, "That's correct." He
said, his voice as smooth as honey. "I am strong,
and now, it is time for you to return to the Primary
Village!"
Triceramon's face was pale with fear. "No!
Please-"
His words were cut off by MarineAngemon's. "Ocean
Love!" He shouted, covering his body with his two
small wings. He speading them wide quickly, and a torrent
of water spilled from the heart on his chest.
Triceramon was hit with the full force of the wave.
"AAAHHH!!!" He screamed, his voice full of pain
and agony. Slowly, he disintegrated, first his arms, then
his legs, then, finally, his head.
The battle was over. And, with Triceramon gone, the horns
that kept the others captive also turned to Digidust.
***Matt***
MarineAngemon turned to us as we all rushed towards the
two of them. I helped Jessica along when she tripped,
carrying the small Rookie form of Penguinmon. I wondered
what her name was.
"Wow!" Mimi said, looking at the little, pink
angel. "Oh, I'd just love to take you home and put
you on my bed with all my other stuffed animals!"
MarineAngemon laughed nervously. "I'm sure you
would," He said. "But I'm Joe's Digimon, not
yours."
Mimi giggled, "Oh, I was just kidding!"
***Sara, Infinity Mountain***
Peter and I were enjoying lunch together, talking about
his family.
"What should I wear to the coronation?" I
asked, looking up from my food.
Peter took a sip of his punch. "Well, we usually
wear white, but you don't have to.
I shook my head. "No, that's alright. I'll wear
white, I don't want to offend your mother and the little
ones."
Peter shrugged, "She wouldn't be offended if you
didn't wear white, but I understand that you'd want to
wear it. A plain white dress should suffice."
Suddenly a Bakemon appeared. "Mistress?" It
asked, I turned to look at it. "
"Yes?" I asked impatiently, "What is
it?"
"Triceramon has been destroyed by the Digidestined.
He was destroyed by the Digidestined child Joe.
"Already?" I turned and asked Peter. "He
was weaker then I thought."
But the Bakemon wasn't finished. "Mistress? That's
not all the news."
I turned back to it. "Yes?"
The Bakemon gulped. "You see, Mistress, The child
Joe destroyed him because his Digimon, uh,
Warp-Digivolved."
I stood up from my seat. "What!?" I cried.
"How can this be?!"
The Bakemon shrugged. "I don't know. It appears as
though Triceramon provoked them by inclosing them in
cages made by his Tri-Horn Attack. This caused the
Digimon Gomamon to Warp-Digivolve to MarineAngemon."
Peter stood. "MarineAngemon?" He choked.
"Why, he's one of the strongest Digimon in the
Digitail World!"
I nodded. "I'm fully aware of that, Peter." I
snapped. "And I'm not to happy with this news. Come,
let's go to the War Room, we have a lot of work to
do!"
Peter pushed his chair out. "Allright, but tomorrow,
no work. We'll have to leave quite early if we want to
get there before the service starts."
I stared at him. "When does it start?" I asked.
"Eight. We'll have to leave the castle at six if you
want to get there with time to spare."
I nodded, grabbed the Ebon Trist, and followed Peter out
the door. "Then we'll leave to four. I want to get
there with at least two hours to talk with your mother,
and visit with the little ones, of course. Now, to the
War Room."
***A.J.***
"Okay, Tentomon says he knows of another place
where'd it be safer to stay the night." Tai said.
"it has a small river next to it, so we'll be able
to wash up!"
Cheers sounded through the camp. We were once again on
the trail. After the battle, Tai'd decided we should go
to a better spot. I sighed, I didn't want to walk any
more! But, since Tai was the leader, we had to follow his
orders.
"So, what's your name?" Jessica asked, looking
down at the small white bird in her arms.
It looked back up at her with it's ice blue eyes.
"I'm Dovemon. The Rookie form of Penguinmon. The
force of Triceramon's Tri-Horn Attack made me
De-Digivolve, but all I need is a little food and rest
and then I'll be Penguinmon again!" It's voice was
soft and gentle, and definitely female.
Jessica turned to Kari, and the little puppy-like Digimon
walking at her heels. "You must be Salamon! I've
heard a lot about you."
Salamon blushed. "Yeah, I'm Salamon alright. The
Rookie form of Gatomon. Like Dovemon, all I need is a
little rest and food, then I'll be Gatomon again."
Kari laughed. She'd joined the girls and their Digimon
after the battle. Said something about it being easier to
play tag if you're only getting chased by one person.
Anyway, I think she just wanted to walk with the girls,
she was way more mature then she should be at her age.
I was walking with Jordan and the older boys, but my
attention was on the girls. On Jessica. Jacob and that
T.K. kid were a couple yards behind us, running in
circles.
I'd never seen Jacob like this before. Sure, he was a bit
hyper when we were on Earth, but he never he a friend
that was his age. He had always hung out with us. Now
that he had a friend his own age, we saw a whole other
side of the little kid.
"Are you sure?" I heard Matt ask, and I turned
my attention back to the present.
Tai nodded, he and Jordan were snickering. Izzy was
shaking his head, an amused expression on his face.
Joe just shook his head.
"But what if she doesn't fall for it?" Matt
asked again, looking at the two boys. His tone was
pleading, I wondered what was going on.
Jordan laughed and slapped Matt on the back. "Come
on, man! She likes you, I know it."
"Hey, what's happening?" I said, crossing my
arms.
Jordan glanced at me, a mischevious look in his eyes. I
knew that glance, it meant trouble. "You want to
find out what Jessica's surprise is?" He asked.
I was confused. "What surprise?"
Tai smacked his hand against his forehead. "Weren't
you paying attention? We've heard the girls talking about
some surprise Jessica'll give us tonight. Jordan already
knows what it is, but he won't tell, so we're gonna send
Matt over to find out!"
I snorted. "Why him? I can get it out of her!"
I walked over and grabbed hold of Jessica's arm. The boys
were laughing.
Jessica whizzed around and smacked my hand with force.
"Don't touch me!"
I jumped. Looking back at the boys, I saw they were
laughing even harder. Taking a deep breath, I poped the
question. "What's the surprise you're gonna give us
tonight?" I asked her.
Jessica glared at me. "I'm not gonna tell you!"
She snapped, Jordan howled with laughter. She glanced
back at them. "Now, go back to your pack of wolves.
I'm not telling!"
"Please?" I begged, Jessica refused to talk to
me.
She turned her head and pushed her nose in the air. I
knew that gesture, I wouldn't get another word out of
her.
Sighing, I turned and walked back to where Tai and Jordan
were laughing like maniacs. Matt looked even more
nervous, and Izzy and Joe looked the same.
Jordan snickered again. "Matt, now it's your turn to
try."
***Matt***
I shook my head, I couldn't do it!
"Aw, is Matt a wittle baby?" Tai asked, poking
me in the stomach.
I took a deep breath and walked over to Jessica, who had
resumed her talk with Sora, Kari and Mimi.
"Uh...Jessica?" I asked, rubbing the back of my
neck with my hand.
Jessica turned to me, and her face lit up with a friendly
smile. I felt my heart melt.
"Yes?" She asked, cocking her head a little to
the side.
I crossed my fingers. "Uh, we overheard you girls
talking about some surprise, and we were wondering if you
could tell us what it was."
Jessica shook her head, sending her brown hair flying.
"Uh, uh. I'm not telling anyone."
I gulped, the thing I was about to do had better work, or
I'd never live it down.
Jessica had continued walking, so I ran ahead of her. I
grabbed one of her hands with both of mine and fell to my
knees, hanging my head in dispair.
'Oh, this is so humiliating.' I thought. 'But I've got
her attention, now for part two.' I squeezed my eyes
tightly and thought of something horrible, like T.K.
getting killed. The thought of that brought tears to my
eyes. Perfect.
I looked up at her, my eyes glistening.
"Please!" I begged. "I need to know! I
swear I won't tell anyone!"
'Ah!' I shouted in my head. 'I wasn't supposed to say
that!'
Jessica smiled. "Maybe....."
"Please! Pretty, pretty please with whipped cream,
hot fuge, and a cherry on top! Just please tell me!"
Jessica looked into my eyes for a moment, and then
dropped her gaze. "Alright." She said softly.
"I'll tell you, but only you."
I whooped in delight. Standing up, my tears gone, I
hugged her. Just to make the acting seem real, even
though she probably knew I was kidding her.
Jessica leaned over and whispered "I'm only going to
tell a story tonight. Nothing big." Then she added.
"Nice acting though, you could get a girl to do
almost anything with your eyes."
I blushed, and walked back to the boys. T.K. and Jacob
had joined us.
"Well, what'd she say?" Asked Joe, looking
intrested.
"Yeah, what'd she say, Matt?" Asked Jordan,
looking at his sister with an intense gaze.
I turned to look back at her. She was giggling with the
other girls, but her cheeks were a light pink color.
I turned back to Jordan. "I can't tell you. She made
me swear. Sorry, but you'll have to wait 'till
tonight."
Tai punched my shoulder playfully. "Come on, Matt.
You can tell us!"
I shook my head. "I can't! I swore to Jessica that I
wouldn't tell her. Just wait 'till tonight!"
At that moment, Tentomon came back, he'd found the exact
location of the new camp site. Biyomon Digivoled into
Birdramon and then into Garudomon and we flew to the
spot, which saved a lot of time and energy.
