Myotismon's Heir And here's chapters Seven and Eight. Believe me,
people, this is gonna be one LONG story. And, if you guys
like it enough, I think I'll make a sequel....I'm already
planning on it. But it's up to you if I put it on the
internet as a fan-fic.
Chapter Seven
***Mimi***
I pushed back my hat to see better as Jacob dragged
Jessica away from us.
"Mimi," Sora whispered, "I want to tell
you something."
I turned to look a her, "Yeah, what is it,
Sora?"
Sora leaned closer, "Tai told me last night that
Jessica and Matt have been giving each other
glances."
I gasped, "As in, hidden glances?" I asked.
Sora nodded, "Yep. That's what he told me. I don't
know if Tai knows what it means, but I think A.J.
knows."
I giggled, "Considering how he acts towards Matt, I
know he knows."
"What's so funny?" Asked a voice, and we both
jumped to see Jessica standing behind us.
"Nothing's funny." Sora said, "It was just
something stupid I told Mimi."
Jessica smiled, "Oh, can I hear it?"
"Sora," Biyomon spoke up, "You didn't make
a joke, you were talking about-!"
Sora lunged and grabbed Biyomon's beek, closing it
tightly. "Oh, Biyomon!" She laughed, "You
really should pay more attention to our conversations!
You're always in your own world!"
Palmon shook her head, "But that's not true! I
heard-" I lunged and closed Palmon's mouth before
she could finish her sentence.
"Palmon! You're getting as bad as Biyomon! You two
should listen more!"
Jessica started walking again and we hurried after her,
carrying our Digimon. The others were getting ahead of
us.
"Penguimon?" Jessica asked, glancing at the
bird.
Penguinmon shook her head, "I was listening to
Jordan, Tai, and the other boys talk. It seems as though
Tentomon knows where a small stream is. He said it was
close, so Tai sent him off to scout out the area. He'll
probably be back in a few hours."
Jessica nodded in understanding and me and Sora sighed in
relief.
"So, what's that joke?" Jessica asked, turning
back to us, "I'd really like to hear it."
"Yeah, I'd like to hear it too." Penguinmon
said, "It sounds good."
Sora blushed, and glanced around the team. Her eyes fell
on A.J. "Uh... Jacob told me this one. It's not a
'joke' joke, but it's pretty funny."
Jessica raised her eyeborws, "Well, I'm
waiting....."
Sora nodded quickly. "Sure! Uh...Jacob said....That
when he and A.J. first came to Digiworld, A.J. was afraid
of everything. When he saw Kunamon, he freaked and nearly
fainted! It's funny since A.J. seems like he's not afraid
of anything."
Jessica blinked, "Really?!" she asked, glancing
evilly at A.J. "I didn't know that....But it's good
information if I ever wanted to play a prank on
him......"
Sora's eyes widened, and she grabbed Jessica by the arm.
"No, Jessica! What did I tell you about that kind of
stuff? We have to get along with each other!"
Jessica shook Sora off and took a couple steps back,
"I know! But Sora, I'll get along with anyone,
anyone but A.J.! I just can't with him, he's a jerk and
is constantly insulting and annoying me! You try getting
along with somebody who's been doing that since you were
four and live two houses down the road!"
Sora stopped, "You have to live with it
everyday?" she asked.
Jessica nodded sadly, "Yeah, that's why I was so
happy to go on the cruese. I'd get away from A.J. for
three whole months! But then, he made plans with his
grandparents-who just happen to live in Hawaii-and I'm
gonna have to see him all summer!" I watched her
fists clench and un-clench again and again as she walked.
"Wow, it seems some one really hates A.J.,
huh?" I asked, grinning.
Jessica glared at me, "What was your first
clue?"
***Sara, Infinity Mountain***
I walked into the control room and sat down in my chair.
Hitting the 'On' switch on the computer screen, I watched
as Digimon pictures flashed by the screen. My minions,
whom I could dispose of as easy as anything. But the
question was, who should I send to fight the Digidestined
today?
Who ever it was wouldn't win, I knew that much. The
Digidestined were far to strong, though they didn't seem
so yesterday.
And I couldn't send all of my minions at once, it'd take
all the fun out of watching them slowly get weaker.
Piedmon always told me to play with my prey, like a cat
plays with a mouse before killing it. I would destroy the
Digidestined myself, not let some slave Digimon take all
the fun.
Suddenly a Digimon flashed by the screen that caught my
attention. Clicking on the image, I read the profile and
nodded. Triceramon, an Ultimate Digimon. a
Triceratops-like Digimon who's Tri-Horn attack could
spear the Digibrats. But he's kind of dense, so most
likely he'd just be turned to Digidust after a long and
wearing battle and years from now be reborn in the
Primary Village.
Piedmon and the others taught me well, well enough to
even beat him in a match! I smiled as I stroked the Ebon
Trist and remembered the match two years ago....
~Flashback~
Sara and Piedmon are in an arena, the other Dark Masters
and Sara's fellow students watch from the sidelines.
Piedmon holds the Ebon Trist in his hands and faces a ten
year old Sara in battle, she holds nothing but a pink
parasol. Her only weapon aside her Digimon attacks, which
are illegal to use in this battle.
Dressed in a tight black sleeveless dress, red long
sleeved shirt underneeth, and the traditional brown
student's cloak, Sara holds the parasol tightly in both
hands and closes her eyes, thoughts running through her
head. If she wins this battle, she'll graduate from the
bording school and be able to go home. After five long
years, she'll be able to leave proudly. But not only go
home, if she wins, she'll be granted one single wish. Few
Digimon had graduated, many had just dropped out, but
Sara would go all the way.
"Sara! It's time to see if you graduate!"
Piedmon shouts, and Sara opens her eyes to look at her
school master and teacher.
"I am ready to win my freedom and my wish, Lord
Piedmon, shall we battle?" Sara asks, raising her
eyebrows cockily.
"We shall!" Piedmon crys, and aims the Ebon
Trist at his young pupil. The large jewel shoots a beam
of black energy at Sara, who rolls out of the way.
"You're too slow, Master!" Sara laughs. A
moment later she gasps in surprise and opens her parasol
in front of her to block another blast of energy.
The students who are watching from the stands, errupt in
cheers to see their friend escape the harsh school
master's attacks. Sara smiles and waves to them from
behind the protection of the parasol.
"Sara, you can't hold the parasol forever!"
Piedmon yells above the noise of the cheering crowd, and
grasps the handle of the Ebon Trist with his other hand,
to give it more power.
"And you can't shoot beams at me forever!" The
girl yells back.
"You'd be surprised at what I can do!" The
school master laughs, and steadies his feet as the power
of the Ebon Trist becomes stronger.
Sensing the strength of the Ebon Trist's power, Sara
quickly rolls to the right and gets into a kneeling
position five feet away, giving her a couple of seconds
before Piedmon realizes she's moved. Aiming her open
parasol at her teacher, she shoots a beam of black
electricity out of the tip of it and hits her teacher.
The blast catches him unprepared and he throws the Ebon
Trist in the air in his pain. A fatal mistake for him,
and victory for Sara.
Running forward, Sara closes the parasol and then catches
the staff in her free hand and shoots a blast of black
energy from it to finish Piedmon off. Piedmon falls to
the ground and Sara runs to stand in front of her
fallen-and former-School Master. She points her parasol
at his head as he looks up from the ground in defeat. In
her other hand, Sara holds the Ebon Trist. "You use
the Ebon Trist well." He says for her ears only.
The entire stadium roars with delight as Piedmon utters
the words for everyone to hear, "I am beaten, you
have proven yourself worthy of graduating."
Sara stare at him, grim faced, "Piedmon, I have know
that since the beginning of our match. And now I see I am
right." then her face lightens. "But now it is
time to celebrate, and then I shall choose my
prize!"
Sara walks out of the arena and is swarmed by friends,
"Sara, the battle only lasted five minutes!"
one tells her, "You haven't just graduated, but
you've blow the last record to Digidust!"
Sara gasps, "Really?! It seemed like hours to
me!"
At the banquet hall, Sara is celebrating her victory with
her friends when Piedmon calls the noise to a stop.
"And now," He says from the School Master's
table, his voice full of venom and hate. "It is time
for our guest of honor to choose her prize, and then,
tomorrow, she shall leave our school with honors."
Sara stands from her table and walks over to her four
formor teachers. Puppetmon takes off her bown student
cloak and replaces it with a long black cape. The
students cheer.
"So, what is your wish?" Asks MetalSeadramon,
Sara's favorite teacher.
Sara smiles evilly, "I want the Ebon Trist, Piedmon.
And I will have it."
The students gasp in horror, but Piedmon nodds slowly,
his face contorted, and hands Sara his most prized
possession. "I knew you would." He says,
"And I can't think of a better Digimon to have it.
You use it's powers well."
Sara nodds as she excepts the staff and looks at Piedmon
primly. "I've won." She whispers to him as she
turns to face the crown of students and holds the Ebon
Trist high over her head. Her new cape swishes as she
moves.
"Yes," Piedmon hisses, "You may have won
now, Sara, but believe me. There'll be a time when I'll
get my revenge. I will win the Ebon Trist back."
~Present~
The memory faded as I thought of Piedmon's last words to
me. 'I will win the Ebon Trist back'...What could he have
meant? He never attacked me, and he died at the
Digidestined's hands. Maybe he planned to attack me after
he defeated them, but they deated him instead.
I smiled, the school closed down after MetalSeadramon
died, but I made sure it wasn't destroyed. I'd still go
there sometimes to remember stuff.
***Peter, Infinity Mountain***
"Sara?" I asked.
She looked up from her thoughts and saw me.
"Are you alright?"
She sat up straighter, "Yes," She said,
smoothing her dress of wrinkles. "I was just
thinking about my graduation day, that's all."
I nodded, "Yeah, I know that. I read your mind, but
it's noon, and our lunch is getting cold."
She gasped, "Oh, my! I didn't realize how much time
has gone by!"
"Uh, huh. Anyway, are you going to send Triceramon
to attack the Digidestined, or what?"
Sara leaned over to the control panel and hit the
intercom button, "Tell Triceramon that the
Digidestined have entered Area 1920. It's in his
territory, so it's his job."
"Yes, Sara. Just a moment." The voice of a
Bakemon came over the intercom. I waited for it to tell
her it was going. A minute later, "He's on his
way."
Sara got up and walked over to the window facing Area
1920. I followed. Looking out, we saw clouds of smoke
heading towards the Digidestined's camp. The children
were on the move, now that they knew we knew where they
had been staying. Foolish children, didn't they know
Sara'd find them where ever they camped? She had their
place pinpointed, which was quite easy to do.
"Allright, let's eat." Sara said, turing to me.
I sighed, "Finally, I'm starved!"
As we walked down the halls and into the dining room, I
asked Sara questions about her time at the 'Dark Master's
Training School for Digimon'. She answered them the best
she could.
"What was it to fight against the Ebon Trist?"
I asked, eyeing the weapon in her hand.
She smiled at me, "Ever since I told the Dark
Masters I wanted to take the final test, I studied
everything I could about the Ebon Trist and Piedmon's
stregies, so I knew what to expect. But, oh!" she
looked lovingly at the Ebon Trist, "It was amazing
to fight against such power! And the second Piedmon sent
the first blast at me, I knew it should be in my hands,
not his."
***Joe***
"Alright, people! Tentomon says that this is the
spot!" Tai shouted, and we all sighed.
We'd been walking for hours, and Tentomon kept saying it
was only a couple more feet the entire way. It was good
to rest my feet and drop the heavy bag of food I was
carrying on the ground.
"Is this the spot, Tento?" Asked Izzy, I
crossed my fingers hopefully.
"I'm pretty sure this is the spot, Izzy. And anyway,
I'm tired of flying!" Tentomon said, annoyed.
Izzy looked surprised, "Okay, okay. I was only
making sure you had the right place, that's all!"
"Well, I do! Now please stop doubting my
senses!"
"Tentomon, I wasn't doubting your senses, I was only
making sure, that's all!"
I tuned out their conversation and glanced around camp,
Matt and Tai were talking with Jordan. A.J. was silent,
as usual. Jacob, T.K. and Kari had instantly restarted
their never-ending game of tag, and the girls were
chatting about something.
I kept watching them,Jessica was giggling extremely hard
and Mimi was blushing and trying to shush her while she
too, was giggling. Sora looked over at the group of boys,
and then smiled and started to giggle like Mimi and
Jessica. I wondered what was going on, but decided not to
interrupt their conversation. Besides, they'd probably
just shoo me away.
Instead, I walked over to where the other boys were
talking.
"What's going on?" I asked, stopping in front
of Jordan.
Tai looked at me, "Nothing now, we'll set up camp
here and wait 'till Sara comes and fights us again. But
this time we know her attacks, so we'll be ready for
her."
Matt placed his hands in his pockets, "It's amazing
that we have to fight Myotismon's daughter." he
laughed, "Isn't it weird that she could take on two
Megas, along with six Ultimates and four Champions? She
must be strong, but she kinda looks familiar...."
Jordan nodded, "Yeah, she looked familiar to me too,
but I can't place where I've seen her before...."
Tai gave us his trademark grin, "You guys are weird.
She didn't look familiar to me at all, except her eyes
glinted in the same way Matt's did when he was out to
kill me. But I guess that's what all evil villains' eyes
look like."
Before Matt could reply, Izzy walked over to us, looking
disgusted, "Jordan, I'd like to ask you a
question." he said.
Jordan turned to him, "What? Is there something
wrong with me or Gotsomon?"
Izzy shook his head, "No, it's just that I was
wondering why, in the battle with Sara, who protected
Jessica instead of Jacob. Why didn't you go for Jacob,
who's younger and more vulnerable?"
Jordan's face clouded, "Well, one thing you should
know is that they're not my real brother and sister. I'm
adopted. I only remember a couple things from my life
before I was in the ophanage, only pictures of my mom. I
can't remember my dad, but I think I had a sister.....But
I can't really remember what she looked like, only
shadows of her face, though I remember she had green eyes
and was the same age as me. I always go on Jessica's
defence 'cause she reminded me so much of my
sister."
We all gasped and looked from Jordan to Izzy. He too, had
been adopted as a baby, and could barely remember his own
parents.
Tai's smile faded, "Well, it's sad you lost your
parents and sister, but know you have Jess and your new
family!" He smacked Jordan on the back playfully.
"Cheer up!"
***Jessica***
"Now, you'll promise to tell anyone, right?"
Mimi asked.
Sora and I nodded, "Sure, I won't tell." I
said. "But I can use this information in my story
tonight...."
Sora looked at me in surprise, "What story?"
she asked.
I gasped and put my hand to my mouth, "Oh, gosh! I
wasn't supossed to tell anyone!"
Mimi smiled and threw an arm over my shoulder.
"Well, you let it out, so now you have to tell
us!" She said, winking at me.
I sighed and dropped my head, "Crud. I wanted it to
be a surprise, I didn't want to tell anyone."
"Then you don't have to." Sora said, slipping
Mimi's arm off my shoulder. "It's your surprise,
tell us when you want to."
I smiled weakly, "Thanks, Sora."
"Tri-Horn attack!" A voice yelled from the
woods. We all turned to see who had shouted. Ot of the
woods came three large horns. Followed closely by the one
who had shouted, a large green Digimon who looked like a
Triceratops on its hind legs.
I screamed and Sora and I hit the dirt as one of the
large horns sped past us. Another one headed for Mimi,
who stood frozen in fear. And yet another one was headed
for Tai!
"Mimi! Look out!" Jordan yelled, rushing over
and pushing her to the ground. He stayed on top of her as
the horn whizzed by their heads.
"What is that?!" Mimi asked, her eyes wide with
fear.
"I don't know." Jordan replied, getting off her
and standing up. He bent down and helped Mimi stand.
"Are you alright? I'm sorry about that."
Mimi smiled as she dusted off her dress. "No,
problem. If it wasn't for you, I'd probably by speared to
that tree with the horn!" she pointed to the horn
which was inbedded two feet in a tree only ten yards
away.
"That's Triceramon!" Palmon shouted, "He's
an Ultimate Digimon who's hard scales make him hard to
hurt. And his Tri-Horn attack spears his enemys! You see
what I mean, since you almost got hit yourselfs!"
Tai, Matt, and Izzy all jumped in different directions
and managed to doge the horn, but Joe was a little slow
and it scraped his's arm, leaving a bleeding gape just
above his elbow. He fell to the ground, holding his arm
in pain.
"Ahh!" Joe cried, and I got the impression that
me, Sora, and Mimi'd have one less person to help us
clean wounds tonight.
"JOE!!!!" Gomamon yelled, and instantly ran to
his partner's side. "Are you alright?"
Joe nodded, cluching his bleeding arm. "Yeah, I'm
okay."
"You may be okay now," Said Triceramon,
"But you won't be for long!"
Tai scanned the group. "Quick, Digivolve!" Tai
ordered, and held out his Digivice.
Agumon nodded, "Right, Agumon, Digivolve
to.......Greymon!"
Matt took his Digivice out of his pocket at the same time
as Tai. "You too, Gabumon!"
"Gabumon, Digivolve to......Garurumon!"
Sora stood up and dusted herself off. "Biyomon! Help
Tai and Matt!"
Biyomon ran over and positioned herself in front of Sora
in a protective manner. "Allright! Biyomon,
Digivolve to.......Birdramon!"
Mimi and Jordan wipped out their Digivices along with
Izzy, T.K., A.J., and Jacob.
"DIGIVOLVE!" They all shouted at once.
The area was filled with light as their Digimon
Digivolved into their Champion forms. Penguinmon and
Gatomon both ran into battle without Digivolving, since
they were both already Champions.
