!!!!!!!!IMPORTANT!!!!!!!! READ PARAGRAPH BELOW
!!!!!!!!IMPORTANT!!!!!!!! Author's Note: Ummm.....hello again. Sorry to take you away from the story, but if any of you have tried to write to [email protected], please understand that it isn't possible to do that. You see, my Juno account unfortunately crashed on Wednesday, September 19th, 2001. If you'd like to contact me, please send all future e-mails (or e-mails you've sent to Aeris22 before I told you this) to [email protected]. (*hangs head* Yeah, I'm pathedic. I know.) It's not much of a change in the address, no, but I have to say that hotmail is really different than Juno. Also, I took so long to write this because, 1, 9/11/01, I spent two weeks staring numbly at the TV and praying for those who were affected, as I still do. 2, I've been extremely busy, 3, I have school, 4, other stories to write, and also, 5, my computer crashed three times and my dad spent a month and five days fixing the hunk of junk. But it's working now, so I'm happy. Thank you for reading this boring paragraph. And now, please enjoy my story. Chapter Twenty ***Nick*** I frowned. Somethin' just wasna right! A chill went through me body like a IceDevimon's Frozen Claw, and I stood as stiff as board. I looked up at Momma, and then spoke me thoughts. "Momma, I think....I think it be time!" I said, feelin' the chill go through me body again. "I know it be time!" Momma stopped her sweepin' and stared at me with a look of scaredness on her face, and, I can tell ye, as well a Snimon could slice ye ta ribbons in ten Digiseconds, that look didna help me ta feel any better 'bout the matter atal'. "Are ya sure it's time?" May asked, cockin' her head a wee bit ta the side. "Ah didn't think your time'd come so soon afta Katy's!" I clutched tightly at me Crest and transformed to me Guardian form. "I need ta go now!" I said, and with out another word, tore out of the house and down the road, prayin' hard ta get there in time. ***Tai*** So, Sara'd decided to show her face again? No problem! And she'd brought a friend along? Well, we could take care of him, too. We'd gotten stronger since she'd last met us! Sara's companion was a HUGE black creature, with firey red eyes and a black beak that looked super sharp! He had a black mane and a body like a lion, with feet covered with black fur and shaped like bear paws. His wings were wicked big and I didn't doubt that they were the things that had blown us backwards. "Who are you?" I demanded, standing to my feet after Sara's companion blew us backwards. The others started to do the same, all of us shaky and bruised. "That's Demiomon!" Agumon told me, his eyes got large and filled with fear. "He's only a Champion Digimon, but he's extremely strong and could take out WarGreymon and MetalGururumon one shot while drinking tea! Compared to him, The four Dark Masters were cupcakes!" I frowned. Stronger then the Dark Masters? Isn't that what Gennia had said about Sara? Then was Demiomon as strong then Sara, or stronger? Determination set in, and I clenched my teeth with new resolve. We'd defeated Devimon, Etemon, Myotismon in both his forms, and all four Dark Masters. No way this guy was strong enough to bring us down! We were the Digidestined and no little crow would beat us. Grabbing my Digivice off my belt, I held it tight. I saw Matt, Joe, and Sora do the same. "WaRp DiGiVoLvE!" We all shouted at the same time. WarGreymon, MetalGururumon, MarineAngemon and Phoenixmon appeared, ready to battle Sara and this freaky bird. I wondered why four Megas came to beat a champion and Sara, who I had no idea what stage she was! All the other Digimon Digivolved to their highest stages to battle. Half went after Demiomon, and the other half went after Sara. Adrenaline rushed through my veins as WarGreymon caught up the energy around him and formed it into a ball. "Tera Force!" He shouted, throwing the ball at Demiomon. The black bird simply closed his wings around his body and the attack disintegrated before our eyes! "Whoa! That guy's tough!" I heard Matt shout over the battle fray. MetalGururumon was fighting Sara, who made him seem like a harmless little puppy. I watched her grasp that black staff of hers and shoot beams of black light at all of our Digimon, while getting some bonus shots on us at the same time! "Sara's even tougher!" I heard Jordan shout back as he jumped out of the way of a beam. When he landed, he rolled three feet and stopped near Mimi. And then, just as he stood, he was able to run over and push Mimi out of the way of another beam! "Way to go, Jordan!" I shouted to him. Jordan grinned and helped Mimi up. ***Mimi*** "Thanks!" I breathed, placing my gloved hand into Jordan's bare one. I could still feel the warmth of his hand, even through the leather. "I don't think I could've moved on my own! I was scared stiff!" Jordan grinned that half grin of his and ran his fingers through his hair, dropping my hand and letting his arm hang loose. "No problem! We're all in this together, right?" I nodded. "Right!" And with that, we stopped speaking and turned back to watch the battle, calling out encouragement to our Digimon. I watched Sara battle. MetalGururumon, Phoenixmon, MagnaAngemon, Lilymon, and Tuskmon and Kuwagamon were fighting her, while the other six fought Demiomon. She couldn't have been higher than an Ultimate Digimon, since Myotismon was an Ultimate. She had to be either as strong or even stronger than Myotismon himself, but since she could take on Ultimates AND Megas easy, and since she trained with the Dark Masters, and since she hung around with champion Digimon who could whip Megas, I was guessing she was stronger. Just a hunch. And then I turned my attention to Demiomon, who had our strongest Digimon against him: Wargreymon, MarineAngemon, Angewomon, MegaKabuterimon, Monochomon and Penguinmon. Demiomon was large, coal black, and he had eyes I'd see in my nightmares, big and red and full of hatred and fire. I shuddered as I watched him blast WarGreymon and Angewomen back a clear ten feet! At the same time Sara did the same to Phoenixmon and my Lilymon. I gasped. "They're too powerful!" I said to Jordan, who was still standing next to me. "Sara doesn't even need to use her Digimon attacks! She only uses that staff!" Jordan nodded, his fists clenched and his jaw set. "I know." He said, and I saw in surprise his eyes flashing with anger and determination. Battle Fury. "Jordan?" I asked, worried. I reached out and touched his arm. "Are you alright?" ***Jordan*** I snapped out of my own thoughts at a touch. Mimi's gloved hand was on my arm, and her big, beautiful brown eyes were searching my face, concerned. I remembered that I still hadn't gotten up enough courage to tell her how much I felt about her yet, and to see how she reacted to my pain as just a friend made me feel guilty for putting it off so long. "Are you alright?" Mimi asked, even more concerned than before that I didn't answer. "Did that beam hit you when you pushed me out of the way? Oh! if Sara hurt you, I'd never forgive myself, I'd--!" Mimi stopped talking when I placed a finger on her lips, telling her to stop. "I'm fine." I lied, purposely not telling her about the large gash in my shoulder and other smaller cuts that I'd gotten, though soon the blood would tell her for me. "I was just thinking." Yeah, I was thinking about how unfair it was for Sara to ambush us like this, and not even use her Digimon attacks! That staff was incredibly strong! I was surprised to see that she'd even gotten hurt by our Digimon! But there it was. Cuts lined her arms and there were scratches on her face as well. Mimi blinked, but then smiled. "Oh." She said with a sigh. "I thought you'd gotten hurt!" I smiled back warmly, happy that she cared about me. "No, I didn't get hurt." I reassured her. And then in total disagreement to what I'd just said, a shooting pain went up my arm, but I grimaced and only that. ***Jessica*** Man! Sara was insanely strong! These were the thoughts that ran through my head as I jumped out of the way of one of the blasts that came from Sara's stupid stick and nearly broke my wrist when I placed my arm on the ground to flip myself over onto my back so that I didn't fall on my face in the dirt or break my neck. Whew! Try saying THAT three times fast! I flipped from my back to my stomach and bit back a cry of pain as my hand touched the ground. Maybe I HAD broken my wrist. But I knew one thing for sure, if Sara didn't kill me, the strain of trying to stay alive probably would. Stumbling to my feet, I rubbed my wrist and watched the chaos of the battle. Twelve against two and we were getting wupped. Four Megas, four Ultimates, and four Champions and we were getting wrecked by a Ultimate and a Champion. A warrior creature (or whatever WarGreymon was), a metal ice wolf, a water sprite, a flaming metal bird along with two warrior angels, a fairy, a giant beetle, and a dinosaur, another dinosaur, a big beetle, and a blue penguin getting destroyed by a girl with a stick and a bird. As you might have guessed, I was in a bad mood. But, of course, no matter how much I was in a bad mood, I knew I wouldn't ever say anything out loud. Unbelievably enough, I didn't have to. Matt did it for me! "Twelve against two and we're getting wupped!" I heard him shout from a few yards to the right from me. "How can four Megas, four Ultimates, and four champions lose to one Ultimate and one Champion? We're getting wrecked! Destroyed!" I couldn't help but grin. What were the chances of that? I saw Tai nod. I'm guessing he thought the same thing as I did. Maybe they all did, or maybe just Matt and Tai were as ticked off about losing as I was. Or maybe all this stress was doing something to my brain. Or....maybe this was what Tai and the others talked about when we first came here! About them being hardened to war and only wanting to destroy the evil so that good could prevail! How they had become all military and stuff? Was that happening to us? "JESSICA!!!!" I heard voices shout, and snapped out of my reservoir of thoughts to see a large black beam tearing through the ground towards me. My eyes widened in horror and I let out a shrill scream of terror as I felt every muscle in my body freeze up and my feet root themselves right to the ground, my eyes watching the black beam of death and destruction race towards me. I knew that the Digimon were too busy fighting to save me, and even if they weren't, I knew they were too far away, anyway. Everyone was. I knew also that I wouldn't be able to move out of the way in time, so I simply closed my eyes, said a quick prayer and hoped that the others wouldn't take my death hard, and, just like people say, I saw every memory that I remembered flash my mind: I saw my life pass before my eyes. The next thing I knew, something smacked me from my left side and I was falling to the side and backwards, as if someone pushed me out of the way. Hitting the ground, I cringed with pain and even more when I heard another voice scream at with the intensity and pain that should've been me while others screamed in horror. NO! I didn't want, or need, to open my eyes when I heard that scream, I knew who'd taken that hit, and I sobbed as the tears started to fall from my eyes. I'd been so heartless... Then I opened my eyes. It was totally against what my mind was telling me, but my heart told me to do it. And at that moment, Matt ran over and hugged me. I knew he was trying to comfort me, but somehow it just didn't work. ***A.J.*** I dodged an attack from that stupid Demiomon and, as I stood, I had to dodge one from Sara and her retarded staff. I gasped, caught my breath, and tried to watch the battle between dodges. It seemed that in every battle we've had, we kids always got separated from one others. I remembered the stories Tai and the others told, about when they had battles and how they tried to stay all in one spot. With us, we really didn't have a choice, it just seemed to happen. And then, I saw Demiomon let out a blast of energy...and this time it was making its way over to Jessica. She didn't even seem to notice it. But the rest of us did. "JESSICA!!" I shouted, along with some others. I'm not sure shouted along with me, but all of our shouts were filled with fear and terror. The next thing I knew was that I was tearing across the battle field, dodging one or two blasts from Sara or Demiomon, as well ducking as MegaKabuterimon got shot back past my head, grazing my hair. It was a race against time and seemingly everything else, since I dodged more Digimon and a few rocks on my way there. But to me it was all just a race against that black beam, and I would win. There! I leaped over a log and landed a few feet away from Jessica, who had her eyes shut tightly in fear. I knew she wouldn't be able to move in time. The beam was only a few feet away! You know, people say that fear is a good spur. They're wrong. Fear, mixed in with ultimate terror, is THE best spur in the world. I practically flew, my feet barely touched the ground as I rushed forward, grabbed Jessica, and shoved her out of the way. Fate granted me a spilt second of relief, Jessica was out of the way! I'd saved her! She wouldn't get hurt! Then fate decided to be realistic. I felt a blast like a two-ton truck had hit me, and I screamed. Yeah, I screamed. A scream of the ultimate, all time, total and complete pain in the entire world. That beam hurt more than anything I'd ever felt before in my life, and I doubted I'd ever feel that much pain again. I could barely think, the pain just enveloped me that bad. And then the impact set in, and I flew back I don't know how many feet. And then, as my head connected with something hard, I blanked out. ***Matt*** "A.J.!! NO!!" Jessica screamed as A.J. flew backwards and crashed into a tree. He fell, limp, to the ground. And didn't move. Jessica ripped herself out of my grasp and rushed over to A.J., sobbing. Somehow she managed to not get shot at or anything, and nothing got in the way. She knelt beside him and shook him a little, her shoulders heaving. I ran forward, partly to see if he was alright, partly to stay near Jess. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed Tai and the others running forward as well. Reaching Jessica, I watched her gently shift A.J.'s limp head into her lap. "Oh, A.J..." I heard her murmur sadly. "Please don't be dead! Oh please, don't be dead!" She repeated that one phrase over and over again. Jordan knelt down beside her, and so did Jacob. Jessica just sat there, her head bowed and tears streaming down her cheeks. All the rest of us just gathered around her, now totally oblivious to the battle going on behind us. Jessica was talking quietly and urgently to apparently no one, though it seemed to be directed to A.J. She said it clearly, as if she didn't care that anyone heard. "Please A.J., I know I was mean and rude, but I didn't really mean it! Honest! Remember how we used to such good friends? We could've still been friends, all you had to do was apologize or tell me the truth!" Her voice got more tearful. "But I never wanted you to do something like this just to prove really you still loved me. Really! It wasn't that big of a deal! It was all over a stupid crush! I admit I was jealous, but I just couldn't believe that you got over her... I didn't want it to end up like this! I forgive you, really! I promise it'll never happened again, seriously! You can count on me this time! I'm sorry!...." She stopped and bowed her head so that her hair hid her face from my sight. The next time she spoke, we could barely hear it. "Really, I'm sorry....." I saw a tear start to fall from Jessica's unseen face. Suddenly everything froze. Jessica was still kneeling in front of A.J., and that one tear was frozen in mid drop. All the sounds of battle were gone, and I looked up to see Sara suspended in mid air, a beam just coming out of her staff. Demiomon was in the mist a flap, and Lilymon and Angewomon stopped halfway through hurtling through the air. The entire world was a shade of blue the same as my Crest. I flexed my arm and saw that IT was blue, too! I gasped and stepped back a few steps and looked around. "Whoa." I cried. And then I saw that I wasn't the only person still moving, either. Tai looked around and then at me, looking just as confused as I was. He was different, though. He was in a shade of orange that looked like his Crest, instead of in blue. Mimi was blinking in confusement, and she was in a shade of green. Joe and Sora could move as well, and were in the color of their Crests, just like the others. "What the heck?!" Tai exclaimed, sounding strangely far away. "Mimi, why are you green? And why is Sora red, Matt blue, and Joe black?" He continued. "And why is everything else orange?" Sora answered, a look of wonder, shock, and amusement on her face. "Wow." She said, staring at each of us in turn. "I think I know where we are!" "We're still in our camp." Joe said, crossing his arms and looking around, his usual skeptic look on. "It's just that everything's frozen and we're all in weird colors." Sora nodded. "I know, it's happened before." She stopped when Jessica's Crest burst into bright blue/white light. "I'll tell you later!" Sora said hurriedly, and watched as the light from Jessica's Crest turned into separate beams and swirled around her Crest for a second before they shot out and, one by one, hit Tai's, Mimi's, Joe's, mine, and finally Sora's. We all gasped in wonder and fear as our Crests burst into the brightest light I've ever seen them give. My blue light blinded me, and I had to close my eyes. When I opened my eyes a second later, I was surprised to see that the colors had returned to normal! "Weird..." I heard Tai mutter. ***Nick*** I leaned against a tree, gaspin' for me breath. Not knowin' how far I'd run, I didna know how much I had left ta run, so I couldna stop for long. I felt the Child of Lightin' somewhere near, so I knew I had ta be someplace close. He'd been hurt, and I knew it twas up ta me ta make sure he didna get any more than just hurt. Suddenly I heard a scream, and I felt a jolt that told me that the Child of Lightin' was the one who'd screamed. He'd been closer than I'd thought! With a renewed strength, I rushed through the forest once again. ***Jacob*** I shivered when I looked at A.J., it was white and he wasn't moving. I was scared, and I felt sick, but I felt better when Jordan put his arm on my shoulder. Jessica just sat there with A.J.'s head in her lap, tears streaming down her cheeks as she kept on mumbling on and on about how sorry she was. Suddenly Jessica's eyes flashed, like she had realized who she was again, and she didn't look sad anymore. "Wake up, A.J. Pettie!" She said with a fierceness in her voice that I hadn't heard for a while. "Wake up or I'll hurt you!" I saw the others jump, startled by Jessica's sudden change of attitude. Jordan looked at me and we both grinned, though. This was our sister! Others started to coax as well, trying to wake A.J. up and boost our spirits. "Come on, buddy!" I called. "You have to wake up." Then it happened! A.J. stirred and let out a moan of intense pain as he rolled over slightly. His eye lids fluttered and we all jumped again. Jessica gasped in delight through tear blurred eyes and then she closed her eyes, smiled, and whispered, "Thank you." I wasn't sure who she was talking to, but whoever it was, I was thankful too. A.J. opened his eyes and looked. His eyes met with Jessica's, who was directly above him. He looked confused for a sec, but then he shook his head. "I must be hallucinating." He muttered in a slurred voice. "Or I must be dead." We all laughed in relief and Jessica's face broke into a huge grin. "A.J.!" She said, laughing. "I swear, you had better recover totally or I'll kill you!" ***A.J.*** I swear I must still be unconscious. No way Jessica could be holding me. But I couldn't help but grin when she said, "I swear, you had better recover totally or I'll kill you!". Maybe she did have feelings after all! Amazing. With a groan, I lifted myself up on my elbow and looked around. Everyone was gathered around me, apparently as worried as Jessica had been. Matt had his brows wrinkled, as if thinking something that hadn't came to him before. Behind Joe, the battle with Sara was still raging. Obviously everyone had all come over to see if I was alright. I felt touched. I looked them over. Tai, Matt, and Jordan had cuts on their shoulders, (I could see it through their sleeves), and they had scratches and cuts on their faces, arms and legs as well. Joe had scratches on his face and Izzy had a gash on his leg. Jessica and the rest of the girl's weren't that bad, and Jacob, T.K., and Kari weren't even touched! Apparently Sara and Demiomon didn't find the little ones worth their trouble. But I knew that, by the way I was feeling, I didn't look much better. We probably all looked pretty much the same. I looked back at the battle. Sara had gotten hurt, too, I noticed. Her legs were bleeding and her sleeve was dyed very dark on one shoulder, obviously blood. A lot of shoulder wounds today, I'd noticed. Her dress was torn in some places; the arms, and small ones on the skirt. So she wasn't invincible after all, huh? But her friend, Deamiomon or Demiomon, or whatever, wasn't even scratched! That was one tough Champion! He was taking down WarGreymon and MarineAngemon and all the others before they even could finish saying their attacks! It was sickening to watch as he just threw them around like bean bags! Surprisingly enough, our half finished cabin was still intact. I grinned, thank goodness! But we were sitting ducks here, we had to scatter again! Even now I could see from the glint in Sara's eye that she would get us the first open spot she had, and believe me, we'd all be dead it that happened. "We have to move." I told the others. "I doubt we'd all survive if Sara or Demiomon gets a chance to blast us, and I personally don't want to take that risk." Tai and Jordan looked at each other and nodded. "You're right A.J.. If we all stay here any longer, we'll be dead!" Tai turned to the others. "Come on!" Instantly, almost everyone ran in separate directions. Everyone but Jessica, Jacob, Jordan. Jessica and Jordan each put one of my arms around their shoulder and hefted me gently onto my feet. I felt just a little bit unstable, but I think I could do it. All I hoped was that Jordan didn't collapse, his shoulder looked bad and I tried to keep my arm away from the cut. Mimi had started to run, but she hesitated and ran back to us, watching with a bitten lip and a concerned gaze at Jordan's bloody shoulder. I looked at Jessica and we both gave a grin, yeah, Mimi and Jordan would make a good couple. Jacob ran over and stood next to Mimi, holding her hand to give himself some comfort. "Thanks again A.J." Jessica said softly, so I'd be the only person to hear it. "I'm sorry about all I've put you through. It was my bad." I smiled back. "I was partly to blame as well, Jessie." I said. "But I forgive you." I saw Jess frown at the nickname, but she just shrugged it off. So she was getting used to me after all, huh? ***Mimi*** As Jordan and Jessica helped A.J. move, Jacob clasped onto my hand and we both stayed with them. Jordan's shoulder was bleeding, and I had a strange suspicion that it was from when he pushed me out of the way of Sara's beam. Why hadn't he told me? Suddenly Jacob stumbled and groaned. I knelt beside him and slipped off my glove. Putting my hand to his forehead, I felt for a fever or something. We all knew he'd been feeling sick before. Jordan and Jessica halted, making A.J. stop as well. "What is it?" Jordan asked. I looked up at him, fear obvious in my face. "He's burning up!" I cried. "He hasn't recovered yet!" Jordan started to slip A.J.'s arm off his shoulder. "I'll carry him." He said, but I shook my head and scooped up Jacob myself. "I'll carry him." I said. "A.J. needs your help more than mine." I told Jordan, hefting Jacob into a more comfortable position for both him and me, so that I carried him a baby you're trying to burp. He leaned his head on my shoulder and wrapped his arms around my neck, holding on tight. "Jacob isn't that heavy." I said with as much a grin as I could give in the middle of a war. Jordan nodded and slipped A.J.'s arm back on his shoulder again. "Okay then." He said with a nod to Jessica. "Let's go!" With that, we started running again. Jessica and I screamed as Tera Force blasted into the ground only inches in front of us. A green plant-like Digimon with a purple flower on its head landed with a thump only a foot in front of us. I gasped. "Palmon!" I cried, running to my fallen partner. Jordan and Jessica helped A.J. limp over to us as well. "Is she alright?" Jessica asked with concern. She gave a cry of surprise as Jordan slipped his arm off A.J. and came over to me, and then she tried to steady her and A.J. so they wouldn't fall. "You could've warned us!" She cried. Jordan winced. "Sorry guys." He said, and turned to me. "I'll take Jacob, and you take Palmon." He ordered, and took the small boy from my arms. "We're in the middle of a battle field, and it's not safe. Let's at least try to get to those trees!" He shifted Jacob so that he could use one arm and pointed to the edge of the clearing, where the others were. "Let's go!" I nodded and scooped up Palmon. "Okay." ***Jessica*** A.J. and I went slower now that Jordan wasn't helping to hold him up, but A.J. refused to slow down until we were safe at the trees. "Forget about me!" He said. "Let's get safe, and then worry about my wounds." I grinned at his choice of words. "Your wounds? I didn't know you knew words like that!" A.J. gave me a dirty look that was half amused. "I'm not as dumb as you think, Jessica. I DO read." I laughed. "I know, I was just kidding." ***Nick*** I stood on a river bank, the sand crunchin' beneath me feet. A large rock stood on me left, and there be a path I noticed that lead up a hill. Sounds of a battle be comin' from it, and I knew that'd be the place the Digidestined be fightin' at. And who would be afightin' them, I wondered? Who had enough brass to take on the famous Digidestined? A streak a coldness shot through me like lightin', and I realized that the Child of Lightin' be in trouble! I tore up the path like a Garurumon on hyper mode, and reached the top in record time. With a gasp, I leaned against a tree and took a breath. As I caught me breath, I serveyed the battle. What I saw shocked me like a water- logged Gomamon getting attacked by a Elecmon. Sara! And Demiomon! But was she fightin' for or against the Digidestined, with Demiomon? ***Katy*** Nick! Me elder brother! I be not alone any more. With a glad cry, I lept from me tree and teleported over to him in mid air. "Nick!" I cried, flingin' me arms about him. "I missed ye!" "Katy!" Nick exclaimed, with the happiness of a Meremon in a volcano after he'd been in a iceland. "How long have ye been here?" "Since I left the house, Nick. I've kept meself secret." I told him. "I've bad news. Sara, she-!" But before I could tell him, we both gasped as Sara shot a blast at the strugglin' Digidestined children Jessica and A.J., who was wounded from savin' Jessica before hand. "Sara be a enemy of the Digidestined?!?!" Nick cried, his eyes wide with disbelievement. "I never thought it!" I nodded. "That's what I wished ta tell ye! I canna help A.J. or Jessica, for they're not me children. But A.J. be your child, and if ye catch Jessica in the crossfire..." I let me voice trail off, but Nick got the message. "I'll be able to save her as well. Obviously her time ain't come yet, or May'd be with us quicker than ye can say 'wisardmon'." I grinned. "That's me brother! I've already done it meself, ta Jacob, but he had Jordan, Matt, and A.J. next to him, so I 'accidently', saved them as well!" ***Nick*** I smiled at Katy's plan. "Peter'd be right proud of us!" I cried. "Aye, and Mama too." Katy replied, a sparkle in her eyes. "Alright then, let me work like a Guardian!" I cried, and Katy stepped back a bit as I spread open my arms. I closed me eyes. "Magical Beam!" I shouted, shootin' out a bubble of light toward the Child of Lightin' and his friend. End of chapter twenty PS: Yay! I got it out before the 25th! Merry Christmas, all of you! |
