In the Digiworld-


A lone, slender figure raced through the trees, trying to carry a Digimon to
safety. The evil Unimon ran after her.
"I'll get you somewhere safe, then I'll get that dark collar off of him…" A
female voice said.
"But Lory! You can't do that by yourself!" Another voice said.
"I have to Palmon! I won't let anymore Digimon go to the Data World!
Besides, you promised to give Mimi her hat back!" 'Lory' said. Once to a
cave, 'Lory' sat the green plant-like Digimon down & ran back towards the
Unimon.
"Stop this Unimon!" She shouted & held her hand up, forming a fireball in
it.
"You give me no choice, Unimon! Pepper Breath!" She called & threw the
fireball at the Dark Digimon. But he was unhurt.
"Horn Blaster!" Cried Unimon. 'Lory' was thrown against a tree. A new human,
with glasses over his eyes walked up to her. 'Lory' stood up.
"So Lory…you give your loyalty to the Digimon, but not their emperor…why is
that?" The human asked.
"The Digimon are good & you are evil…they raised me & you only want to
enslave me & lock me in a tiny cell!" She cried.
"You still think the 'DigiDestined' will come to save you & the rest of
your friends?" He asked.
"I know so, Digimon Emperor." She seethed through clenched teeth. The
Digimon Emperor said nothing more, but walked off. Unimon kicked Lory in the
ribs. Then a small Digimon with a horn & a Garurumon fur coat ran by.
"Hey Unimon! Bet you can't catch me!" It said & ran off. Lory looked up.
"G…Gabumon! No!" She cried.
"Horn Blaster!" Gabumon was no where to be seen. Lory managed to hide, &
noticed a charm. She slid it on her ring finger & felt the tears fill her
eyes…

In the Real world-

"That was so cool!" Davis exclaimed to Tai.
"Well, it's just started. Last time we went to the Digiworld, we were all
kids… once we defeated Apacolomon, we thought it was over & said good-bye to
our Digimon…" Tai explained.
"Hey Tai! You gotta see this!" Izzy exclaimed. Tai ran in to the computer
room.
"What is it?" He asked.
"It's a note…& Gatomon's Tail Charm was around it!" Izzy said.
"Lemme see that!" Tai exclaimed & took the note.
'DigiDestined, I hope you read this. You must come back & help us.' It read.
Kari took the Tail Charm.
"It's Gatomon's all right." She stated.
"Well… Yoli & Cody aren't here. So it's just us 4…Izzy stay here & keep
that computer on!" Tai said as the 4 went into the Digiworld through the
computer. Gatomon, Agumon, Veemon, & Patamon were waiting for their friends.

In the Digiworld-

"Kari! You came back!" Gatomon happily yelled & jumped into her arms.
"You bet. And look what we found…" She said.
"My Tail Charm!" Gatomon said. But the reunion was short. Coughing & Hacking
was heard not to far off. The sounds were human! The DigiDestined & Digimon
ran towards the source. A girl about 10 years old lay on the ground, coughing
up blood. A Palmon & Gomamon were tending to her wounds. Patamon instantly
recognized her as a figure he had seen in Primary Village so long ago.
"Lory!" He yelled & flew over.
"Who?" Asked Davis. The Digimon Analyzer popped up.
"Lory, a human born in the Digiworld & worked in Primary Village. She has
the attacks of the Digimon, & refuses to bow before the Digimon Emperor. Be
careful though. Even when wounded, she won't stop fighting to save the
Digimon." Patamon said. Lory sat up.
"Lory, are you okay? What happened?" Gatomon asked. Lory began to talk, but
coughing cut her off.
"She was trying to save me from a Unimon…" Palmon said. Lory began talking.
"G… G…Gabu… mon… h… he… he's…" She wheezed. Tai lost the color to his
face.
"Gabumon's gone?!" He shouted. Lory proceeded to stand up, but couldn't.
Sinister laughing was heard. T.K looked up. Gatomon hissed & showed her
teeth.
"The Digimon Emperor…" She hissed. The Digimon Emperor showed no interest in
the DigiDestined at the moment & walked to Lory. He smiled.
"So, that defiant little smirk on your face has vanished, & the fire has
disappeared from your eyes…as I knew it would… Lory you should have known
better than to try & fight me." He said. Lory, the child of Loyalty, might
have lost the fire in her eyes, but not the burning sensation of hatred she
had for the human who enslaved the Digimon. It was enough for her to hate all
humans. T.K went to help Lory, but found himself frozen in place. The Digimon
Emperor reached a hand to her hair & pulled out the strip of cloth Lory had
used to tie her long hair back. Her brown hair spilled out every where.
"Just give up now Lory…" He said. Lory managed to stand, raised a hand &
slapped the Digimon Emperor. He fell back.
"Listen! I know you better than this! You're my friend! Stop it now! Go back to the way you were!"
"Hey you," Veemon yelled. "leave Lory alone! What'd she do to you?!" Digimon
Emperor glared at Veemon.
"Yea Veemon! Show him who's boss!" Davis shouted & held up the Egg of
Courage.
"DigiArmor Energize!" He shouted again.
"Veemon Digivolve to…Flamedramon, the Fires of Courage…" The Digimon said.
The Digimon Emperor ran off as night began to fall. Flamedramon became Veemon
again, who rushed to Lory's side.
"We should be getting back…" Kari said. Veemon looked at them.
"Can you take Lory with you?" He asked.
"Where would she stay?" Sora, who had been abnormally quiet, asked.
"She can't stay here…she'll die from her wounds…" Veemon said. The other
Digimon nodded.
"Lory was our caretaker when we were babies. We can't let her die. She can
help us!" Tentomon said. The other Digimon nodded.
"She can stay with my mom & me…" T.K said.
"Thank you so much, T.K!" Patamon said. The kids & Lory were transported
back into the real world.

That night-

Lory didn't sleep soundly. Matt, decided to spend the night with his brother,
& was woken up the instant Lory said 'Gabumon' in her sleep.
"G…Gabumon…You…you can't…no…you'll be…" She said, while tossing &
turning. She suddenly sat up coughing up blood again. She was damaged badly.
Matt looked at her.
"How's Gabumon?" He softly asked, probably knowing the answer.
"I don't know…" She said to him.
"This Digimon Emperor sound like he wants you to bow to him like he's making
the Digimon…I know you won't, that you're good, but why wouldn't you?" He
asked. Lory looked into his eyes, her own burning with the fires of disgust &
hate.
"I bow to no one!" She said.
