Color-Mode

Color mode strictly uses the median values of a camera snapshot to analyze the base color. The exact RGB-Values of the base color are displayed together with a visual color map.

With RGB-model it is possible to determine over 16 million different colors (256x256x256). In normal life we try to interprete these values in a psycholgical way. AVYS imitates this 'psychological way' in a rough manner to name the base color in words.

Pushing trigger button will play a tone which relates exactly to the red, green and blue - values of the median color of the snapshot. In edit menu you can set a variety of different instruments for each RGB-Value.

Use "Sound"-submenu to determine the tone generation. "Single"-setting will play only the red value of the base color. "Triple" will play all three values together in a chord and finally "Sequence" empowers you to turn each RGB-set into a sequence of three notes where the first note represents the red-value, the second the green value and the third note is played according to the blue value.
