| M4P has been approved a substantial sum to undergo a major infrastructure change under the 9th Malaysia Plan. This is in line with its process to bid for for the college to be upgraded to the status of an Institute. Congratulations to the administration and the lecturers who have worked hard to come up with a feasible proposal and the blueprint to secure the allocation. May our dream materialise before many of us retire..... |

| The Language Department comprises the English Language and the Chinese Language units. Many short and long term courses are carried out throughout the year to train teacher trainees as well as pre-service and in-service teachers. Among the courses carried out by this department are the M4P-UUM Bachelor of Education (TEYL) twinning programme, M4P Bachelor of Education (Foundation) TESL twinning programme, Bachelor of Education (Maths and Science) and the Post Graduate Teacher Training Course. Apart from this, the department is regularly called upon to assist the State Education Department in the professional training of the teachers in the Primary and Secondary schools. On going courses conducted by this department include the ETeMS course, Buddy Support System and the Language Immersion Programmes for teachers serving in the primary and secondary schools. Attending or presenting papers at national and international seminars and conferences are routine business for lecturers in this department. |
