A brothers Prayer
Gather brothers, and you shall here
the echo of a comrades tears
For fallen warriors who gave their all
when they heard the trump of duty call.
For in my heart and mind you live
no greater honor man can give.
We served together through times of
Pain,
Shared our fears, hopes, and gains
We shared our lives as friends so few
as truly only brothers do.
Our bonds forged by the heat of war
a bond of kinship forevermore.
Now, as I stand here where you rest,
Knowing you as one of the best,
I pray God grant eternal grace
upon this hallowed resting place.
For you and fallen brothers at least,
After all this time, may you rest in Peace.
