Streetlight Heaven
Two GE M400s adorn this page.  The above fixture is the original M400, circa 1959 (400-watt mercury vapor).  To the right is the current design, circa 1997 (250 watt HPS).
This site was created as a spinoff of Doc Johnson's site.  Inside is a history behind some of the most popular manufacturers and the evolution of streetlight fixtures over the past 50 years.

Special thanks to Jim Terry, Jeff Saltzman, "Silverliner_12" and other members of the Yahoo! Streetlights Group for the featured photos on this site.
