Deus Ex
You can evade trap in mission 4 "Battery Park" location.
Here is the list of requirments to do this:
- Survive
in previous location "NYC Streets", (trying to
save Paul Denton`s life (your in-game brother). It`s not
necessary (the storyline includes both options with
almost same results), but what `brother` would you be if
you let him die ?)
- Travel by train (which you used in mission 2) to next
location "Battery Park" (also mission 2
location)
- Have ArmStrength (exact name is a bit different)
nanotech/upgrade
OK, you`ve
got it all. Then the solution:
Kill Anna Navarre if you didn`t done this before. She
uses Invisibility upgrade, but you still can easily see
her contour while she is moving. After that escape
through the ventelation tunnels to wooden house and try
to eliminate all visible Bots and Men in area (note that
big bot is tought enough to resist one rocket). And DON`T
let German Hunter to talk to you or he will kill you in
one shot after dialogue (You can surrender in that
dialog, but this is "not an option"). To defend
yourself barricade the house entrance with paper box
(from same house :) ). Repeat the same from metro
entrance (remember about Hunter). Now after you killed
all of the enemies that you can go to wooden house. Then
shoot Hunter while box is still bloking entrance, He will
run to you shooting and stops near box (be sure to evade
all of his shots or be dead if he hits you, cause
PlazmaGun he`ve got is very deadly). Return to metro
entrance. Now turn ON all of possible defensive upgrades
you`ve got (Speed upgrade is helps here alot),
ArmStrength should be ON too, and run to the steel boxes
on the left. Push them, so that you can escape area, then
bloke the way again or Hunter passes it too.
Now you are free, but storyline does not cover this, so
you only can run all around Battery Park but recieve
nothing. Even you can`t kill Hunter German cause he is
indestructible (invincible I mean).
P.S. I didn`t tried this method in case when Jock (Helicopter pilot) doesn`t leave the area. Cause all the times I played (only 2) He left area after some trigger event. May be it`s possible to evade this trigger. Interesting, what would Jock do then ?
