Apocalypse chapter Twelve

Deuteronomy 6:16

Ye shall not tempt the LORD your God,

as ye tempted him in Massah.

Matthew 4:7 Jesus said unto him,

" It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. "

Psalms 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. Psalms 91:12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Man shall not live by bread alone,

but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. "

and him only shalt thou serve.

Isaiah 44:17

And the residue thereof he maketh a god,

even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.
