Flip Tricks

Ollie - This is the most basic trick you can do. There is 2 different styles of skating, regular and goofy. Choose what foot you want to have on the tail and nose. First you put your back foot on the tail and your front foot behind the bolts that are closest to the nose. Then push the foot that is on the tail down and slide your front foot up. This will make the board pop up. You can move your foot back more and it will make your ollie heigher. Also if you push down a little harder it will make you ollie heigher. Once you get ollie with out moving start skating around then ollie gaps.

Nollie - It is kind of like an ollie but you just stand on the board different. Start off by rolling slow. Put the foot that you usually slide with on the nose and your foot that is usually on the tail right be for the bolts closest to the tail. Note: I find it easier to do a nollie if my foot that I am goin to be sliding up with is at an angle. Push down with the foot that is on the nose and slide your foot below the bolts up. Center your weight and land. Some times I find it harder because all your body weight is on the nose. Just balance more and your nollie's will be smooth.

Kickflip - Put your foot on the tail and your other foot below the bolts were your foot is at an angle and your heel is hanging off a little bit. Ollie then push down with your foot make sure to slide your foot up. Note: I find it that if your foot is closer to the nose that you will get a better spin but if you put your foot in the center you can get your board to spin more times. Try both ways choose what one is best for you.

Heelflip - Place your foot on the tail and your other foot in the center with your toes hanging on a little bit. Push down with the foot on the tail and with your other foot slide it up and kick it out. Note: Some people find it easier to spin if their foot is below the bolts but I don't find it easier to spin it that why. Try it out both ways and modify it so its best for you.

360flip - There is a few different ways to spin a 360flip. Way 1: Put your foot on the tail were there is concave and have your foot angled a bit and your foot hanging off a bit and place your other foot in the center of the board with your foot angled and heel hanging off. Ok now that you are set up. Push down with your back foot once in the air kick back with the foot that is on the tail and push down and kick out with the foot in the center of the board. Note: This should all be one motion. It might take a bit to get but its a good trick that will impress alot of people. And if you land on the bolts it looks better. Way 2: Put your foot on the tail all the way and your other foot in the center with half on and half of it off. Now push down with your back foot and with your front foot push up kick down and kick out. Note: This should be one motion. Land right on the bolts it will be cleaner you would fall back or slip out.

Switch ollie - If you can ollie you can switch ollie. Start to roll but instead of ollieing like you would just 180 your body so that your back foot is on the nose and your front foot is on the tail. Then just ollie. Catch it and roll away.

Shove it - Set your feet like you would ollie but don't ollie. Instead just push your front foot out with out kicking down. The board will do a 180 under you. Catch it and roll away.

Pop Shove it - Set your feet like you are going to ollie. Ollie then kick your foot out with out pushing down on the board. It will pop up and do a 180. Catch it and roll away.

Nollie flip - Get a good amount of speed and put your feet like a nollie exept point your back foot a little towards the tail. Pop your nose and slide your back foot up and out. When it comes around catch it in the air and land and roll away. Doing this off grinds is way cool especially nosegrinds. try a kickflip nose grind nollie flip out, it is very impressive to see.

Wicked Hardflip - First learn it going slow then progress on faster as you go, put your back foot on the tail like the ollie. Your front foot goes in the middle pointed way forward so its pointed at the nose.   Pop what the board, raise your front foot straight up it does not slide up the board. Jump as high as you can, and bend your knees way up there. It should pop straight upside down then once upside down it will spin back up heelflip. Kick your feet down and catch it in the air, with your feet.

Wicked Hardflip late kickflip - First of all this is a way hard trick you need to be very comfortable with your skateboard, second you have to be way superior with hardflips and kickflips, go fast, put feet like hardflip, kick the hardflip and stay above it. When it comes around, don't land it, keep your feet up still, exept kick your front foot straight down kind of hard, hard enough to spin it the kickflip after the hardflip. When the kickflip comes around land it. If you can land this you can call your self way good.

Nose Manual to Nollie pop-shovit out - First of all a nollie is when you ride your regular stance and slide your feet up to the nose, it's not when you do a backwards ollie or a fakie, well then back to the trick. Start going kinda fast, slide your feet in the opposite position of a manual, your front on the nose hanging off a little, your back foot sqare and almost right on the back bolts. Push down a little and ride on just your front two wheels. When it feels right, kick your back foot forward, you are still nose manualing, and your board should do a 180' under you, you don't need to jump, your board will quickly spin and you will land it before you think you spun the board. Then roll away.

Grinds

50-50 - Get some speed and make sure the rail or curb is waxed up good. When you get on the side of the curb or rail ollie up and have your two trucks land on what you are trying to grind. Grind it and roll away. If you kickflip in to this in looks sweet.

5-O - Get some speed. When you get on the side of the rail or curb ollie then lean back so that you only have your back truck on the rail or curb. Grind it and roll away.

Nose Grind - Get some speed. When you get on the side of the rail or curb ollie and lean forward on your board so when you land on the rail your front truck is the only thing touching the rail. Grind it and roll away.

Slides

B/S Boardslide - Get some speed. Come at the rail so that you are not facing the rail. Ollie and turn back so that your board is on the rail and you are sliding so you can see what is coming up and when you are gettin off. Get off and roll away.

F/S Boardslide - This trick is kind of like a F/S boardslide but there are a few things different about it. Get some speed. This time come on facing the rail. Ollie then turn your body so that the middle of the board is on the rail. You should be sliding backwards. Get off and roll away.

B/S Tailslide - Get some speed. Come at the rail or curb so that you are facing the curb. Ollie then turn your body left. Have the tail hit and slide the rail or curb. Get off and roll away.

F/S Tailslide - Get some speed. Come at the rail or curb so that your toes are not facing the rail or curb. Ollie and turn your body right. Have the tail hit and slide the rail or curb. Get off and roll away.

B/S Noseslide - Get some speed. Come at the rail or curb so that your toes are not facing the rail or curb. Ollie and turn your body left. Have your nose hit and slide the rail or curb. Get off and roll away.

F/S Noseslide - Get some speed. Come at the rail or curb so that your toes are facing the rail or curb. Ollie then turn your body right. Have your nose hit and slide the rail or curb. Get off and roll away.
