It was in an interview with ELLE where Ravn talked about the secret blog.
She explained that it was made for family and friends, to give them insight 
in her life. But the bog is also an effective mean to create an interest in Ravn
and selling the solo album "Here I Am".

Marion's blog have existed since mid-April, Which is also when Marion started her 
album promotion, it is also linked to 20 different Japanese web-sites.

The first post in the blog which is also about Ravn Asia tour, contains a number 
of pictures of Marion on the plane, restaurant, surfing in bikini and during a concert.

Marion also blogged during her Norway visit in June and writes it was weird to come 
back to Oslo, and says she got sick after a showcase so she went home to her parents.
I also went to a cottage far into the woods, by the big mountains and spent a few days 
in total peace and quiet. It was good for my voice and my soul. I got a lot of new 
energy, she writes.

Control

Marion Ravn is just one of many celebrities who post private information about 
themselves. No matter who you are a fan of, it is most likely that this someone owns a 
blog or another form of an online diary that you can read. And celebrities usually reveal 
more in these blogs than they do in interviews.



The keyword here is control. When celebrities have full control over what's written, 
then they can afford being more honest and personal, says Paal Fure, trend analyst in
