// M2M ULTIMATE // CREDIT US! DONT REMOVE THIS TAG I'm not a bimbo Marion Raven is hoping that her new album will remove the "Bimbo impression" once and for all. - I don't understand how it all happened, hhow Marit got the "good reputation" , and not me. I wrote my first song at the age of 13, and when we were M2M, I wrote just as many songs as she did. But when you are young, perhaps dressing a little wrong, and are not thinking before you speak, that people easily judge you this way. People think just what they want. - What exacly? Well, they think you are a bimbo. But now I hope that people will listen to my record and understand that I am not a bimbo at all, says Marion. Marion just got home from a five weeks promotour in Asia. During this amount of time, she has sold 133 000 copies of the solo debut << Here I am >> . The album was released in Norway yesterday. - Max Martin contacted me in January 2003 aand asked if I wanted to work with him. The second song we wrote togheter, is now the single release << BREAK YOU >>. Our cooperation worked so well, that I moved to Sweden and ended up living there for a year. Togheter with her childhood friend Marit Larsen, Marion started the band M2M around the age of 12-13. The teenage pop-duo sold over 2 million records. Summer 2002 they were on tour with Jewel, but all of a sudden they were sent home. - We were on vacation and were called in byy the record company manager. He said : "It's over, you are going home" - Did he tell you why? -No! We tried calling him, but there were nno answer. We were really abandoned. When it is over in this business, it is really over, she says with a slant smile. But Marion got a solo contract and started writing songs about what was going on in her life. - The lyrics are so personal, that there iss no point in going into details. It's an EX- boyfriend, anything else I don?t dare to say. But there is also one song that is written about my ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend, she is horrible. Says Marion. Now she has started to write new songs, and opposite of "Here I am", they are optimistic. The other day she wrote a song, just because she felt so happy! But she doesn't want to say what the song is about. Instead she laughs. -What, did you meet a boy? - Uhm, I don't want to say anything about tthat. But the song is called "I forgot his name", that is all I want to say. Translated By: Desiree Source: http://www.dagbladet.no/kultur/2005/08/09/439679.html
