M2M has put together an amazing album. I gave only four stars because i am not a huge fan of slow songs and there 
are several on this album. the songwriting and singing talents of these girls really shine on their sophmore effort. 
Shades of Purple was pure unadulterated pop while this album combines pop with a harder rock vibe. these girls are ready for
the lilith fair. im a huge fan of singers and songwriters and these girls are top of the line when it comes to the teen 
variety. Here is a song by song breakdown of the album: 

1)Everything- the tune is very upbeat but the lyrics are about the guy not calling and ruining everything. you've probably 
heard the song because it was played a lot on the pop radio stations. its a truly enjoyable song. 

2)Jennifer- this song has an upbeat tune as well. The song is about the girl who is friends with your boyfriend. of course 
she is perfect although she is just a friend to him. its about the natural jelousy that arises in these kind of situations. 

3)Dont- the first slow song. im not a fan of slow song but this is a good one. its about a guy that came along and stole 
you away from your boyfriend. its about thinking of the boyfriends feeling before this other guy. its about being blinded 
by what seems to be the perfect guy. 

4)Payphone- this is also a slow song. its not bad but i dont like slow songs. its about needing to see someone or talk to 
them really bad. the sound is good but the lyrics arent to good but this song really shows off the girls voices and the 
major improvement from the first album. 

5)What You Do About Me- this song has an upbeat sound but is about a guy who is interested in you but he already has a 
girlfriend. its basically about him making the decision between you and her. he is in love with you but doesnt want to hurt 
the other girl. one of the best on the album 

6)Love Left For Me- a slow song. the guy is being mean to her and all she wants is some love. she asks if he has any love 
left for her. Hes been lying and cheating and all she wants is his love. not the best message, its time to dump that guy. 
musically a very pretty song. 

7) Miss Popular- one of my favorite songs on the album. its obviously about the torture of others by miss popular. its 
about her finally getting what she deserves for being mean to everyone else. "now you know how it feels to be insignificant,
how it feels to be all alone" this isnt a direct quote but sums up how they feel about Miss Popular. 

8)Wanna Be Where You Are- another slow song. its about wanting love. this one is actually prettier than the other slow 
songs. the one that she loves is the one that makes her feel happy. it sounds like a song that could be in a musical. the 
proclamation "he loves me" is beautiful. this song is a great love song. 

9)Leave Me Alone- its about a guy that is acting like a stalker. he first broke her heart and he wants her back but its 
over. its a mid tempo song and has a great message. there is obviously not relationship anymore, not even friendship 

10)Sometimes-this song sums up how i feel many days of my life. its about being a girl and wanting to be alone. there is
enough [junk] that we get during the day that its okay to just want to be by myself, no explanation required. the fastest 
song on the album and my favorite of the whole album. 

11)Eventually- the final song of the album. it has a folk music sound to it but also a spanish vibe. i thinks its a 
beautiful song. its a slow song that is about getting there someday. about finding that perfect love. 


M2M has created an amazing album. I would have given it five stars but im not a huge fan of slow songs. if you like 
people like avril lavigne, michelle branch, or vanessa carlton you will love this album as well. it is a huge step away 
from their younger sound of shades of purple. you should watch M2M because they will be around for a long time.
