-I've gotten older now. Things have happeneed, personal things like moving to 
New York City and having heartache. I've learned to feel in a completly 
different way, so the music and the lyrics are deeper, says the L?kog-chick 
to the Malaysian girl-magazine Seventeen.


Crashed the car
Seventeen who has given Ravn two pages in the July-issue, asks the popstar among 
other things where the inspiration for the many 'dark' songs on her album 
'Here I Am' is coming from.

-My ex. He was a prick! He wont be very happpy with most of the songs on the album, 
but I don't care. it is pretty obvious what happened, says Marion and refers to 
the songs 'End Of Me' and 'Let Me Introduce Myself' and she continues:

-Something which it doesn't say anything abbout in the songs, is that my ex-boyfriend 
came and visited me in Norway, borrowed my car, crashed it - and left. He didn't even 
bother saying sorry, reveals Ravn to Seventeen.

-Does that mean that you have given up on llove? asks Seventeen's reporter.

Ravn answers in the following way:

-Well, I have in a way given up on guys. Buut we'll see what happens. Maybe my next album 
will be happy.


These days the popstar is in the middle of her five week promo-tour around Asia.

Ravn has done many interviews for radio and magazines, also done a special for MTV Asia.

To the malaysian teen magazine 'Lime Magazine' Ravn or Raven which she calls herself 
internationally talks about how it is living alone in a small apartment in New York, 
after she got the record-deal with the music giant Atlantic Records.

-It is really very small. I can fit about tthree people there.

I like being alone, but I like being around friends and family. I like relaxing with 
movies or reading magazines.

My family sends me norwegian magazines in the mail. That makes me happy.


Went alone to the cinema
-This might sound dull, but when I moved too New York, I actually went to the cinema alone. 
I love movies, so I go to the cinema often. Think my friends would have bored coming along, 
says Ravn to Lme Magazine.

Being asked about the dream guy Ravn says the following:

-He's got to be able to make me smile, and  it's important you feel good and comfortable. 
And of course you have to feel something too.
