Cause 20% of colds. Upper respiratory tract infection in adults. |
Haemagglutinate: can only be isolated in organ cultures of human embryo trachea. Difficult to isolate in the laboratory. Diagnosis is rarely made. |
No antiviral drugs or preventive measures are available. |
