Will 2005 be Marit Larsen’s big year? It might just be. The former m2m member, removed all existing doubts at Bylarm- in Stavanger last night. Where she held one of two concerts at Bylarm.

Togheter with her band, which played great, she delivered dynamic and charming pop/rock songs along with thoughtful ballads.
And without even trying, she distracted her way smoothly and elegant away from the simple, yet outstanding M2M – teeny pop music.

Darker 
Marit Larsen is all grown up. She has probably fallen a few times when it comes to life and love. Her hair is darker and so is her music : the everyday life has worn out the fairytale popstar world. 

But this had to happen sooner or later. Marit Larsen wants more, than to be just a cute innocent teenager.
Behind the charming dark hair and the polite attitude, there’s hidden pretty rough and dark everyday descriptions. 
The lyrics has meanings and the melodies are challenging. Marit give just enough melodiousity for the audience to be interested enough to listen all the way through. 
And the finishing song from yesterday’s concert "Here comes the new sensation" – might be a future hit.
The song is a pop/rock song, played by Marit with her well known guitar. 

A certain Alanis twist
She has also written a ballad, where the lyric in a "Alanis kind of way", builds it’s way up and develops perfectly. A certain Alanis Morissette twist and we could also sense a few songs with a Bjørk tone in her vocals, which suits her vocals well.

Halfway through she calls out to the audience :
-You look absolutely gorgeous.

Where a male audience quickly responds :
- So do you!
