| Brief Description | Executing this project for the aforesaid client while working for Cognizant Technology Solutions. Amgen is a pharma company, it has to give its sales representatives data about the doctors, the departments with which they are attached to and the center under whose jurisdiction these departments come. Previously Amgen had isolated applications in each of its European countries, now they are centralizing their whole operation. The Amgen Siebel application is upgraded from version 6 to 7, the data of Siebel 6 has been migrated to its version 7 counterpart. We had used Informatica and Toad as tool to migrate the data. A third party data provider (Dendrite) is providing some flat files as data source (Pharbase product), my job is to automate the weekly updating process of creation / updation / deletion of data, with consultation with the onsite personnel. The whole process would be automated, corresponding log file about the data (successfull or unsuccessful) is generated. |
