My Favourites !!!

My favourite writers

My favourite writer in English is Sidney Sheldon, the first book I read of Sheldon was "The Doomsday Conspiracy". I was literally fascinated by the storyline. Next I read many of his books which were good also. In Bengali, Satyajit Ray with his Feluda and Professor Shanku series is my all time favourite. But, I read all writer's books, whoever he may be.

My favourite pastime

Quizzing was my favourite pastime, it still is, but I do not like to participate in live quizzes anymore, what is my interest is to sit among the audience, enjoy the session and meantime know new interesting facts.

Quizzing will always be my favourite pastime.

My favourite actor/actress

Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan, Amir Khan, Kajol are my favourite actors and actresses. What I like most about them is the ease with they mix with their characters played in the movies. Of older days, Gregory Peck and Madhubala are my all time favourite.

My favourite singer

Mohd. Rafi is my favourite singer, but you have to keep out Kishor's sad songs. Asha Bhosle is my favourite lady singer, her voice having more variety than her elder sister. My favourite song is Coffee houser sei addata aaj aar nei, by immortal Manna De, who is my favourite bengali singer.

WWE

The first day I watched an episode of WWE, I fell in love with it. From days when it was called WWF and was shown on Star Sports to being called WWE and shown on Ten Sports, it has travelled a long distance. Many superstars have retired, new stars have outshone olders. My favourite is "Stone Cold" Steve Ausin, The Undertaker and The Goldberg. Watching them battle it out is really fun.

Favourite comics/cartoon characters

Tom & Jerry, Simpsons and The Popeye Show are my favourite cartoon characters, along with Batman. And I like to read Calvin & Hobbes stories regularly, but Watterson stopped writing new stories. Also I liked Blondie by Dean & Denis and Garfield by Jim Davis.
