SSR Special Weapons
The 5.72mm SC Tactical Model comes equipped with a silencer/flash suppressor. Its 5.72mm rounds offer good penetration against modern body armor, while keeping the weapons' weight, dimensions, and recoil at reasonable levels. It is a single-action weapon that uses a blowback-operated, rotating block, breech assembly with a catch slide to pull the cartridges from its 20-round box magazine and into the barral assembly. This prevents jamming by forcing the rounds through a 'cone' shape inside the slide housing and ensuring the ejector catch latches onto the rim of the round itself to eject the spent casing upon discharge.
