SC-20K Stealth Assault Rifle

Through the decades, Starfleet was proud of their phaser weaponry, from shipborne phasers to small arms. However, with the development of the phaser, there were major oversights. Phasers cannot be used in operations where Stealth is important, which would leave an operative totally defenseless. Also, phasers are known to sometimes fail in high-tension battlefields. In walks Southern Cross (SC). Their new rifle in a bull pup configuration  makes it light and compact without sacrificing firepower (5.56x45mm ss109). Its modular configuration allows it to be customized to fit any mission profile. Equipped with an integral flash/sound suppresser, 5x Tricorder Holoscope, and a 30-round magazine clip. It can be combined with a 40mm multipurpose launcher, 20mm APDS Sniper Attachment (50x Tactical Scope Suite required), 12-gauge triple 000 Buckshot Shotgun, and stability foregrip, the 5.56mm SC-20K AR becomes the obvious choice of weaponry when infiltrating enemy territory. An added bonus for the newer models, any module can be switched to a new module in seconds while in the field.
