Glock Phaser Model 18 R1 and R2
The Glock Phaser Model 18, or P18 for short, was a phaser model that came about as an accident during development that turned out to be a great idea. This phaser has a fire selector that can be selected to fire both beams and pulses.

The weapon was later discovered to be extremely easy to be replicated/manufactured on a starship, rather than waiting until a new shipment of weapons come in. Not only is it easy to replicate, but also easy to repair should anything go wrong. Field tests have shown that the weapon has obviously proven itself. The P18 will not just be a Security Issue phaser, but some Marine Corps Strike Groups have requisitioned some units.

As with the PPP's, this weapon can be fitted with an I-MOD or Phaser Silencer.  Two models are available, the R1 and R2.  The R2 has an improved recharge rate and its underslung rail can add more options.  In the 'slick' mode, it can be identified by its chrome finish.
