| Silver Streak opened in 2001 as the park's twelfth roller coaster, debuting along with Runaway Reptar at Paramount King's Island as the world's first inverted roller coasters designed for children. It, along with its sister coaster are the only ones to feature a helix. There is one train with 10 cars and 2 seats across per row, for a total of 20 riders. Ride Experience The ride stars off when you exit the station and ascend the chain lift hill. Once you reach the top you head straight into a left-banked downward helix drop and then go into a series of banked turns as you swing around the circular track where your photo is taken. Next you turn into the barke run and come to a halt, returning to the station. Other Information Colours: The track is dark blue, the supports are black, and the cars are blue, black, and silver. Best Seats: It depends; if you want to get the best view sit in the front, otherwise sit in the back to experience the best feeling as you go through the helix.
