| Scooby's Gasping Ghoster Coaster is one of the four roller coasters that debuted with the park in 1981. Almost every former Paramount (now Cedar Fair) theme park features a Scooby-themed wooden roller coaster for kids. It is a John Allen junior woodie coaster. The Ghoster Coaster was awarded by the American Coaster Enthusiasts with the "ACE Coaster Classic" status, one of only 38 wooden coasters in the world that currently share this distinction. Ride Experience Ghoster Coaster begins by taking you up a 41 foot chain lift hill before shooting you down a drop of 39 feet. Then you go through a series of smaller hills and head back to the station before you head back out and climb up to another hill while making a 180 degree turn. This is where your picture is taken as you zoom down the hill and head straight back towards the stations going through another series of further small bunny hops. The Ghoster Coaster is very fun for the little ones and worth a ride for guests of other ages as well.
