The Fly is a custom designed Mack/Miller wild mouse roller coaster added in 1999 as the eleventh roller coaster in the park. Its layout has since been cloned for several toher parks. Unlike normal wild mouse coasters, the ride begins with a 50 fot drop, then returns up to maximum height, followed by a quick series of hairpin turns and drops. The Fly is a great coaster for families to ride together because it is not extremely thrilling but still provides enough kick to excite adults. There are 10 single car trains; riders are arranged 2 across in 2 rows for a total of 4 riders per car.

Ride Experience
The Fly stars off by turning back around once leaving the station and quickly accelerating up a 50 foot chain lift hill. Then you turn right at the top of the hill and quickly drop straight down the 50 foot first drop, with your photo taken once you reach the bottom of the drop. You only get a short chance to notice the flashes of the camera and then you go back up to 50 feet and go through many sharp hairpin turns, turning right, going straight, turning left, going straight, turning right, going straight, and then turning left and go straight ahead into another drop down over the station house and zoom towards the end of the layout then zoom over some small "bunny hop" hills before going into the breaks and stopping for a while while other cars in front of you are loading, then return to the station. The Fly is a fun and thrilling ride and for its small size The Fly backs a surprising punch.

Other Information
Colours: The track is bright yellow, the supports are bright blue, and the cars are a bright lime green with yellow spirals on the sides, and the blue "The Fly" logo on both the front and back.
Best Seats: The Fly is designed in such a way that there is no real difference where you sit because there are no trains, only single cars, so you can sit in the front or back row and enjoy the same thrilling experience.
Queue Line Wait Time: There is usually a long wait for this ride because it is very popular, with both the kids and the adults. Also the ride suffers from long loading times because there are many single cars rather than one long train. Wait time is about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
