Dragon Fire is one of the four roller coasters that debuted with the park in 1981. Uniquely, unlike the other roller coasters produced by Arrow that contain corkscrews, Dragon Fire's corkscrew runs counter-clockwise. It features two vertical lopps, a double corkscrew, and an upward helix. While the ride came with 3 trains, only two are used for this ride, with the third being used for The Bat. Dragon Fire is seen as an older ride and due to its decline in popularity, it has low rider numbers and short queue line wait times. There are 2 trains with 7 cars per train, and riders are arranged in 2 across in 2 rows for a total of 28 riders per train.

Ride Experience
Dragon Fire starts by climbing up the 78 foot chain lift hill. Once you reach the top you zoom straight down 76 feet straight ahead into two vertical loops. Next, you make a 180 degree turn as you go into the only counter-clockwise double corkscrew of any Arrow coaster. Then you fly into an upward helix before heading straight back into the station.

Other Information
Dragon Fire was originally named "Dragon Fyre" from 1981 to 1997.
Colours: Dragon Fire was repainted in 1998 and then again in 2005. The track is green and yellow tubular steel spine, the supports are dark purple, and the trains are green and purple with yellow restraints. (Previously the supports were brown).
Best Seats: You should either sit in the front for the best view or sit in the back for the greatest G-force experience.
Queue Line Wait Time: There is normally only a very short wait time for this ride, about 5 to 10 minutes.
