There has been speculation that Italian Job Stunt Track will be located in the Action Zone area of the park, behind Psyclone/Sledgehammerin front of the Mighty Canadian Minebuster.
The question on a lot of peoples' minds has been what will be removed to make way for Italian Job Stunt Track. Some have said that SkyRider may be the one to go, because its twin was removed at Paramount Kings Island. Others say The Orbitor will be removed or relocated, since it wasn't even on the park map this year. Still there are rumours that nothing will be removed after this season and that the new ride will be put in a previously unused section of the park.
It's rumoured that the Italian Job: Stunt Track will have a restraint system similar to Son Of Beast's and Flight of Fear's at Paramount Kings Island. It will apparently be an orange "U" shaped lap bar, as well as a seat belt of some type.
About the restraint system, it has pretty much been confirmed. At the construction tour at Kings Island, Jeffrey Siebert mentioned the restraints would be similar to those on the Revenge of the Mummy rides at Universal Studios. The restraints on those rides is identical to Flight of Fear (lap bar and ankle bar) with the exception that there is no clip that buckles onto the bar from the car, like on FoF. |
