(Bad, Bad Man blasts out as John Cena comes up onto the ramp. He is then joined by Jackie Cena holding the Women's Championship. She taunts the crowd and they boo slightly, though mainly at John. They then get in the ring and take a microphone each to address the crowd.)

John Cena: "Well look where we are again. Just a few days off of Return of an Era. Last year it truely was the Return of an Era... when John Cena pinned MDK 1... 2... 3 to win his second EMF Championship, the Intercontinental Title. Now, one year on, here I stand, a Grandslam Champion... married to the Women's Champion... a beautiful son and the world at my feet. But, there was no-body in this federation with enough balls to challenge John Cena this week. The only match I was offered was for a shot at the World Championship... but my question is why should I bother? Why should John Cena, the man that created that strap Wes is wearing right no... go through 6 or 7 other men, just for a shot at HIS title! So I told them i'll wait... bide my time... and when the moment is right... jump up and take my title! So tihs year, at Return of an Era, John Cena can concentrate on helping his beautiful wife Jackie to retain her Women's Championship against Trish Stratus. This shouldn't prove a hard test.. but you know us Cena's.. always focused. Always ready! So without wasting any more time... Jackie, what are your feelings going into the Pay Per View?"

Jackie Cena: "What am I feeling? Well it's not exaclt a hard question to answer John. It is only Trish Stratus i'm facing after all. Everytime I step into the ring with her, I end up showing her up. The first time, I beat her pure and simply, centre of the ring.. just nailed her and took that Championship I wanted so badly. It was a case of doing what had to be done... taking out the trash if you like. SHe was a disgrace to our division.. so much so she couldn't even see what was going on under her own nose. She was pathetic as a champion, and she hasn't improved any yet. Sure she can beat Joy... Victoria... Chyna... but that's the problem with the EMF Women's Division Trish, there is a huge gulf in class between myself, and ANYONE else. You could beat all the others in a gauntlet match... anfd then rest up back to 100%, you'd still fall short of the title. It just can't be ttaken from me.. nobody will ever achieve it, and for the reason, I think you should give up now. Although, you'll probably persist to be a pain in my backside for a while.. as most women are when they think they are near the top? Anyone remember Rylee? Where is she now I ask you? Disappeared somewhere.. unable to come back and beat Trish like she probably would... because I put her out of commision. I destroyed her... she keptt coming back for me but eventually... she ran out of energy. She ran out of steam and like so many before her.. her career died. Now she might come back one day... but she won't dare challenge Jackie Cena again. She'll probably only be at 50%... but it'll still be enough to destroy whats left of you Trish. When i'm through with you, you will be but a mere shadow of a woman. You will be nothing... destoyed by the awesome presence of JAckie Cena. I'm not the champion for nothing... and one day soon you'll open your eyes and admit that. You treid to destory me Trish.. but ultimately you failed. You thought bringing back my husbands child would destroy my relationship with him... but it didn't work. You can parade Eddie Ryan Stratus around as much as you like... remind everyone what a great deed you did dedicating him to the great Eddie Guerrero... and remind everyone his name should be Cena... or whateever you ant Trish.. it wont get to me. You need to remember he was only with you at the time so as he could watch you.. and teach me how to beat you, and it worked. If you got a child out of it your a lucky woman. But do you use that baby to compensate for your loss? Because sometimes it seems like it. And here we are... at Return of an Era 2006, and you are probably telling yourself this is the day when the Trish Stratus era starts up again... but I can guarntee it wont be. I can look you in the eye and tell you your days at the top are over for good. I defeated you a long time ago and I showed you that you were not good enough to headline our division... and once again I will show you that on Sunday. You are not the competitor you once were... but even in your prime you fell short of me. I am the greatest women's wrestler of ALL TIME and don't you ever forget it. Sierra... Amy Dumas... yourself... not one of you could stop me. They couldn't wrench the title from my waist like they wanted so badly. Falling Short is the life of every Women's Competitor that's not myself... and it's just a sorry fact of life. The FU is too devestating for any woman to recieve and carry on fighitng... and that's why none of them ever have. Well actually... Amy did kick out from it, but that match was something else, and far from what Trish stratus is capable of pulling off. So i ask you Trish... what's the point in turning up for the Pay Per View? What's the ponit in getting into the ring, and looking at MY title and letting your little head build up dreams of taking it back. Wouldn't you much rather just stay at home.. and watch me beat around some jobbe that's taken your place, safe in the knowledge that it's not your career that's being ended. It would be a lot more pleasant for you i'm sure. But not to worry. YOu always have had more guts than brains Trish... at least I think you have. Because challenging Jackie Cena is a very gutsy move to make... and one i'm sure you will probably regret for some time. The FU, especially in this division.. not only ends matches but it inflicts serious pain and often injuries. Trish Stratus fears it just like she should do. But what is the Chick Kick... just a bog standered kick... forgive me if i don't cower in fear at the sight of it. A little kick is not gonig to keep me down... no matter what you do to make it look good. I'm the Champion.. not some random woman you dragged off the street, beat, and then bragged about it. Nobody has EVER beaten Jackie Cena, and at Return of an Era, I will defy the very name of the event, when I pin your ass to the mat, and continue one of the most dominating Women's reigns of ALL time! Word Life!"
