(Introduction- The Cena household has never been the most peaceful of places. Even right back in the very beginning when Cena came to the EMF and started dating Trish Stratus... there was controversy. Was he cheating on her with Chyna? Were there any truth in the rumours spread by Cena's rivals that they all got a piece of herbehind his back? Looking back on it, the answer to both these questions was almost certainly no, but even had it been yes, the situation would be a lot more straightforwrd than it is now. Throughout the last year so much has changed. John Cena officially split from Trish, and sealed it with an FU to bring the girl he was actually seeing behind Trish's back into the public eye. His and Jackie's romance blossomed, and soon ended up with John proposing marraige and the wedding happening soon after. But on the night of the momentous occasion, things took a turn for the worse. Cena had an affair with his cleaning lady Natasha Jones. Upon his return he could not bring himself to end it, and they continued it behind the back of the Women's Champion. Natasha soon fell pregnant, although she already was after the wedding night, it just wasn't known about. Cena went back to JAckie, but would later change his mind, and decide once and for all it was Natasha he wanted to spend his life with. The two of them, for the present time at least, continue behind Jackie's back, but a time where they, in turn, will emerge as a proper couple appears to be drawing ever closer, at least according to the conversations held between the two. OBviously Tish wasn't done, returning with Cena's son Eddie to further complicate things. Then there is Chris Masters. The Masterpiece came back from Japan to live with long term friend John Cena, and then ends up dating Christy Hemme. The couple reside with the Cena's and Natasha in Cena's house, and appear to be the only un-complicated thing in that environment... that is, up until now. But before all that, we pick up with John Cena's ex-interviewer Maria,in her new job as Amy's deputy Vice President.)
(It's after EMF Payback, all of the fans have been gone from the arena for quite a while, as well as all of the wrestlers and staff members have gone to their hotels. Well, other than three people. Chris Jericho walks down the dimly lit halls as he comes to his wife office, he takes a look into the office and see's his wife Amy Jericho hard at work trying to train her assistant Maria. Jericho
takes a look at his wife, and then decides to hang around. He sits in a chair near the door and thinks, soon him and Amy would be parents. But it would seem that the Jericho's enemy's in the EMF had made this a much more dangerous experience than it should. Amy had known that her pregnancy could be used against her, so she decided to get an assistant. This was to make sure that no one could cast
off the Vice President's office away so easily because of her pregnancy. But Jericho knew that Maria was not ready just yet, and Amy's pregnancy had to stay a secret from their enemies as long as possible. Jericho decides to not disturb his wife while at work, and to keep guard to make sure no one over heard Amy training Maria. We go into the office.)
.::Amy Jericho::.-Superstars can really be hard to deal with sometimes. They will absolutely do anything to try to gain some favoritism. As my assistant, you will have to deal with them from time to time. Even more if you have to be the stand in VP, so I want you to know. Don't be fooled by them, be smart. Always answer a request that you'll bring it to my attention,
and bring it to me. We will discuss on how to deal with it, do you got all that Maria?
Maria: "Sure.. I been close to a lot of Superstars in my time... although mainly John Cena and that's perhaps not the best experiance to have... but if Ican deal with him any one else should be a walk in the park compared to that. But I will bring every request to you Amy, if thats what you want."
.::Amy Jericho::.-Yeah, I think it would be the most wise thing to do. Although, I don't doubt that you have experience with these superstars before in your announcing job. I have had to deal with Cena a few times...*Amy frowns at the flash backs she had of Cena threatening her with the sledghammer. Amy shakes her head and then continues. Amy looks at the clock and notices they have been working for quite a while*. I think that's enough for today.
(Amy walks to her desk and sits down and relaxes. Maria really had been doing a great job learning her new job, she had not been sorry about asking her to be her assistant.)
.::Amy Jericho::.-Maria, you been doing very good! Sorry for cutting this a little short, I'm just a little tired. It's been a busy day...
Maria: "It's ok, i'd imagine every day is busy being the Vice President and all... but surely your used to that by now.. I mean you been doing this job for years.. unless something else made it more tiring than usual."
.::Amy Jericho::.-Yes, it's a bit more than just the job...
(Amy had seen her husband walk by the door, and knew he was keeping guard to make sure no one would listen in. As well she was sure no one else was around.)
.::Amy Jericho::.-It's just with everything that goes with pregnancy. Believe me...mourning sickness sucks. Although I did go to get my first ultrasound!
Maria: "Really... an ultrasound... that's cool! So you've seen your little baby for real now... how did it go?"
.::Amy Jericho::.-Yeah, went great Maria, although what's weird is that goo they have to put on you to do the ultrasound. But otherwise it was amazing to see the baby. In fact, I actually have a picture from it.
(Amy opens a draw from her desk and pulls out an ultrasound picture and shows it to Maria.)
Maria: "Err... i thought you said ultrasound... not ultrapicture... what's it meant to be anyway?"
(Amy laughs and shakes her head)
.::Amy Jericho::.-No, Maria. See, you can see the baby, here I'll explain it.
(Amy spends a few moments pointing out everything that had been pointed out to her and Jericho by the doctor of their baby to Maria. Amy smiles while she does this, she obviously was very happy that her and Jericho would have a child soon)
Maria: "Wow that's really clever how you can see it before its born... oh God you must be really excited... seeing that is like one step closer to when it actually all happens for you!"
.::Amy Jericho::.-Yeah, I know Maria...I REALLY just can't put it into words. I really can't, I know this few months are going to be a very different experience for sure.
Maria: "Yea.. but if any couple can cope with it.. i'm sure you two can. When you think of all the women out there doing it alone... you got a great chance with the loving relationship your in, and I think it will do you both the world of good to finally become parents, which I know you've wanted for a long time!"
(Amy thinks about what it's going to be like to be a Mom, and then to her relationship. Thoughts of her friend Jackie's messed up relationship went through her head.)
.::Amy Jericho::.-Yeah, I realize how lucky I am as far as that goes. I know that we will be the best parents we can be, although it's going to be a very new experience for the both of us. It's funny when I was in the RWA, I always knew that I had feelings for Jericho. But never thought this day would come that I find myself pregnant and getting ready to make a family. Just something that I couldn't dream, but really it is all happening. But I also find myself in not in the best position with Edge taking over as Co-Owner, that's why I'm glad you have come to help me. Not only because I'll need it very soon, because I really don't know what's going to happen when they find out. Jericho is doing what he can to protect me and the baby, but soon there will be no keeping it a secret. I'm not sure if you noticed or not, but I think I may or may not have gained a few pounds. That's why I'm glad your progressing so fast, you have no idea how much your helping Maria."
Maria: "It's nothing really... i'm just doing my job Amy. To be honest I never wanted to be involved with Cena and everything... I saw the whole time it wasn't fair on you or anyone else the way he ran around treating everyone. I wanted to distance myself but couldn't give up the only thing keeping me in the EMF. When you came out and helped me I guess that was the only thing that could get me away from it all. So really I may be helping you out, but it reall is helping me at the same time, because finally I have a job iI can enjoy doing for the company I love."
(Amy thinks to herself "her statements are more true than she knows".)
.::Amy Jericho::.-Well glad it is Maria, I can relate in a way. Because I know what it's like to be away from wrestling totally...which is what happened in RWA when it closed down. As for Cena, I know what your talking about. As I told you...Cena's one person that will use this against me if he can. He's got Edge in this back pocket, really I don't know what's going to happen when they do find out. But we will see... well Maria, I think I better get going. Jericho's waiting on me."
Maria: "Alright Amy, I think we got a lot covered today anyway, I should be ready to do the job real soon. I guess i'll see you sonetime soon and I hope you and Chris have a lovely evening, you more than deserve it with what your going through."
.::Amy Jericho::.-Thanks Maria, I'm sure we will, hope the same for you. Anyways, I'll see you next time.
(Maria walks out of the room as Amy grabs the keys to her office, and grabs her bag that was already packed up ready to go. Amy shuts off the light and goes out the door, locking it behind her. Jericho stands up, and goes towards her as the scene fades out.)
(The scene opens again. We are live at the Cena household. Cena is sitting on the sofa with Natasha close to him. The two aren't cllose enough to touch, but seem to just be gazing at eachother and looking happy. The reasons for the distance are soon exaplained, when Chris Masters enters, holding a beer for the two of them and a wine of some sort for Natasha. He sets them down and then proceeds to flick through the channels on the TV set infront of him.)
Chris Masters: "God I hate half time... it's so boring...."
(Cena looks at Nat, and she nods.)
Cena: "Chris man... this games as good as over as it is... i'm gonna take off for a bit... some things I need to attend to..."
Chris Masters: "I dunno if Christy would appreciate me watching a game alone with a girl.... what with all the cheating going on around here... she might get suspicious...."
(Cena looks shocked for a split second but then calms down as he realises. Nat gets up and, after what Chris has said, proceeds to kiss him. The two continue for a fewminutes until Chris comments again.)
Chris Masters: "Guys... do you have to. I mean... I know i've known for long enough... but I feel bad enough having to lie to Jackie as it is... without you rubbing it in my face."
Cena: "Yea sorry mate... we'll take our business elsewhere...."
(The couple smirk and head out of the room, Cena clearly putting off whatever he had to attend to. The scene fades for now. We re-open later on. John Cena is shown sitting at a table, talking on his cell phone, he seems to be holding something, possably a magazine or a newspaper of some kind in his other hand whilst he talks.)
Cena: "Yea, no Jackie it's fine really. I know you stayed with Amya few weeks ago.. but if you want to stay out again I got no problem. Of course i'm sure. No Jackie I trust you...and I knew you were with Amy anyway. How? That doesn't matter does it, whats important is that you are ok and that if you want to stay out tonight, or come back late or whatever, I got no problems. Ok. I love you too honey. See you tomorow... maybe tonight if i'm lucky. Bye."
(Cena hangs up the phone and replaces it on the table. He is in his study area, normally used for reviewing video tapes of opponents. He pulls the magazine back and places it on the table. He's turning the pages and a huge smile creeps over his face. Suddernly from across the room someone speaks. Cena spins around to see Christy Hemme standing in the door way. He looks surprised to see her.)
Christy Hemme: "No Natasha tonight....?"
Cena: "I'll probably go down to her in a bit...just reading something...."
Christy: "Whats the rush.... i'll read with you...."
Cena: "Wouldn't interest you.... I doubt."
Christy: "You never know... let me see?"
Cena: "No... it's just some applicants for Maria's job... nothing important, i'll put it away...."
(Christy steps further into the room and Cena can see her clearly now. She is wearing a dress which leaves very little to the imagination. Cena seems to like it but tries not to let her see this.)
Cena: "Doing something special tonight Christy?"
Christy: "Depends... you gonna let me see what your reading...."
Cena: "As i said.. it's not imporant...."
Christy: "Only it is... because i've been standing here a lot longer than you realise... and I already know...."
Cena: "In that case you don't need to see... and can be going can't you?"
Christy: "I didn't know married men were into playboy myself..."
(Cena realises she knows too much, but hopes he can keep her from knowing the rest of the little secret.)
Cena: "Only every now and then... like on nights when Jackie's away... not like i'm ever gonna meet any of these girls anyway..."
Christy: "Is that so? I bet you could pull any one of them..."
Cena: "Well unfortunately I don't know where to find them... and i'm too loyal to my wife..."
Christy: "Don't play games with me Mr Cena! Iknow all about Natasha and your cheap little affair. And what is it here tonight... *in a high pitched mimicking voice* Bye Jackie... i love you... now i'm just gonna stare at your friend who lives with us naked in a magazine!"
(Cena can't deny it. The edtion he'd bought had been the Hemme one, and she'd caught him red handed.)
Cena: "Christy look... I bought this before I knew you...."
Christy: "And you still lookat it... i'm honoured John.... someone like you likes what the see...."
Cena: "Whatever Christy. Go back to Chris... he'll be worrying..."
Christy: "He went out with some guys for a drink, and Natasha is sound asleep in front of the TV.... it's just you and me. Maybe you wont be needing that magazine after all...."
(Cena doesn't quite believe what he's hearing, and attempts to make sure he is getting her message correctly.)
Cena: "Christy... i'm kind of busy... so unless there's something you want me for..."
Christy: "Are you half as good as they say you are?"
(Christy has almost confirmed it now... but uncharacteristically, Cena continues to hold out.)
Cena: "Christy... you have seen me in action several times.. you can from your own opinion on my wrestling career.... now ifyou'll excuse me and go somewhere else..."
Christy: "Ok John... i'll go to your room... but your coming with me! Lets take that magazine and turn it into a reality and REALLY enjoy tonight! Chris has gone out... Jackie's has gone out.. we both need someone to play with... else we'll get lonely..."
Cena: "You don't have to ask me twice babes..."
(With that Cena leaps up and grabs Hemme by the arm and leads her towards his room. They go in and close the door. Cena then takes Christy in his arms and begins to kiss her, and Hemme is loving every second of it. He then proceeds to lift her dress over her head and throw it onto the floor. She smiles and begins un-buttoning his shirt, and then she lays back on his bed. Cena climbs on with her and they pull the covers over so they cover them. The cameras for the EMF channel special are still rolling however, as Cena and Hemme create what is to be the next in a long line of Cena affairs. After a short while the scene fades a bit, and picks up later. Cena and Hemme are laying in the bed together, still covered up.)
Christy: "My God... that was even better than I expected...."
Cena: "The nights still young Christy... we got hours yet...."
Christy: "I can't... i'm sorry, i've gotta pick Chris up in 15 minutes... you should go and wake Nat... she'll catch a cold sleeping down there..."
(Christy slides out of the bed in her underwear and picks up her dress, throws it back on, smiles and blows John a kiss before exiting. Cena leans back and signs, before getting up. He is seen buttoning his shirt and then he leaves the room. He loos to head ofr Nat but then stops. He looks down at himself, and looks disapointed. It looks like he is regretting what he just did. He looks at his own body as if he is ashamed of what he did. He goes into Natasha's room and takes a blanket off her bed, and then goes downstrairs and lays it over her, and places a cusion under hr head. He kisses her forehead and then turns off the TV, before returning to his room alone for the night.)
