(The scene opens. John Cena, Rhyno and Trish Stratus are backstage, in the Revolution locker room. Cena is holding his TV title, and Trish is holding her women's title)
Cena: "You must be reading it wrong Rhyno..."
Trish: "Yea.. it CAN'T say that!!"
Rhyno: "It does... it really does... clear as day..."
Cena: "Then my hearing must be bad... repeat it agiain?"
Rhyno: "EMF Shockwave... Main Event... Inter-Gender Tag Team Match, Trish Stratus and John Cena Vs Tori and Dewey Pond..."
Cena: "You know its funny... coz i still thought you said..."
Trish: "He did... it's a disgrace!!!"
Cena: "Your damn right it is!!! Tori and Dewey... those love-sick wannabe champions who have barely won a match between them... come on! I've got half a mind to refust to compete straight away!"
Trish: "Remember John... Prez Mike pays our checks... if you go and refuse to compete in a match he's made.. where will that get you?"
Cena: "I suppose your right Trish... i feel reluctant to even bother with this.. but i suppose we should go to the ring and give a promo for it..."
Trish: "Yea your right... lets go then."
(Basic Thugonomics blasts out, as John Cena and Trish Stratus make their way to the ring. They are both clutching their title belts, and enter the ring to a standing ovation!"
Cena: "This week at shockwave, Trish and I face Tori and Dewey Pond. Now, me and Trish are champions.. they are not, therefore we are better, and we will win! Goodbye"
(Basic Thugonomics blasts out, as Cena goes halfway up the ramp with Trish, then they turn and get back in the ring.)
Cena: "HA.. as if I could EVER give a promo that bad... but it's about all Tori and Dewey deserve... They can't promo for their lives... and they are even worse in the ring then they are at that! They don't even deserve me wasting 10 seconds of my time on them... but after all, I AM the TV Champion.. so i suppose i HAVE to give some of my time up... it's my duty to these fans... though with matches like this it's hard to see why i bother.. but oh well."
Trish: "So true John... anyway.. on with the usual interveiw process... this week WE team up for the first time!!! What are your thought, firstly on that!"
Cena: "Well, we've always said we couldn't wait to team up together... and i suppose you could look at it and say "What better team to face than one who just got engaged", but you also have to see it from my point of view! I have been in this company for some time now.. and i've been in the ring with the best! I've faced the World Champion Angelus Archer, Former world champions like Punisher and Wasabi, and some top rated other superstars such as Ric Flair, Undertaker and Dennis Kettleburg... so to be up against Tori and Dewey Pond is just INSULTING!"
Trish: "Ok, now... what do you think of Tori as a superstar? The so called "Next Women's Champion""
Cena: "Whatever... next champion indeed! Well anyway, it's not really my place to talk about Tori... she's your focus in the match... afteral, generally, if she tags in, i gotta tag out.. but i wouldn't wanna go hurting a woman anyway... So Tori, i got no problems with you personally... i can't make a normal speech on you.. but one thing i can talk about is your chances in this match! You have a chance of practically nil... after all you are partnering... DEWEY POND!!! And your real opponent in the match is Trish Stratus! Now, Trish has a lot of things you don't Tori... a beautiful face, a nice figure, long luscious hair.. a proper man by her side, BUT most importantly... she has what you want most in the entire world.. more even than Trish's looks.. you want the Women's Title... but you just don't have it! You crave for this title... you live, you breath, and you'll die for this title *lifts Trish's title up high* but Revolution's got it... and you will NEVER have it again!Whilst i do respect the fact you've beaten all of your major rivals... with the exception of Trish and Claire... you even beat Sierra for the title you once wore... but you didn't have it for long did you! Speaking from experiance with my once held U.S title... i can tell you it's better never to have tasted the glory.. that to have won and lost it all! You want this Tori? You want it so bad? Well get it into your head... YOU WILL NEVER GET IT BACK!!! You say you can beat Trish coz you beat Chyna twice... guess what... Trish has beaten Chyna too... and from what i hear... it wasn't all that hard! I used to think Chyna was the real deal in the women's division... then i discovered Trish... she puts Chyna WAY down on the list... even you could beat Chyna... i'll give you that but you can never beat Trish 1... 2... 3, and deep down you know that! You got your little shot coming up at unleashed... well after shockwave... you will be rushing to Prez to pull out of it, when you realise Trish is bigger (in more way than one...) and just simply BETTER than you!"
Trish: "Well said honey... couldn't put it better myself, ok, what about Dewey Pond.. what do you think of him?"
Cena: "Well... Dewey and Revolution have faced off twice before, and twice Dewey has come out the loser! First, he went one on one with Rhyno, and got his arse kicked! Then, him and Wasabi took on myself and James Hardy, and once again... Dewey was easily beaten! Dewey Pond is.. as Trish rightfully said, the BOTTOM of the EMF roster. He's below every man i've been in the ring with before... But once again, i come face to face with Dewey wannabe Pond... he thinks he will be Intercontinental Champion... not unless Prez Mike sells the company to a blind man... and he actually thinks Dewey is worthy of a shot... and even with the shot, how the hell would Dewey Pond beat MDK??? It's simply impossible! I've been in the ring with MDK, and i've been in the ring with Dewey... and it's safe to say whos the better wrestler there... almost as safe as it is to say i'm a better wrestler than Dewey... or Trish is better than Tori... Dewey has no chance of being a champion here... and no chance of winning the tag match this week, Dewey... i wish you the best of luck in your marraige to Tori... coz once i end your career... she's all you'll have!"
Trish: "Well... come shockwave, we begin our winning streak as a team... you never know, maybe it will become a more permanent thing... Anyway, to all you fans, we leave you know to prepare for Shockwave.. so until then... Word Life, sorry, just always wanted to say that!"
("Keys to the City" blasts out this time, as Cena and Trish exit. However, despite the changes to formality... they still make out on stage to the delight of their fans, before Cena and Trish both shouts "THE CHAMPS ARE HERE" and exit backstage)
