(Introduction- At Return of an Era, John Cena captured his 2nd EMF Championship, the EMF Intercontinental Title.This week however, he faces his fiirst defence of that title. His opponent is a man who only needs the IC belt to complete his grandslam.. for someCena fans, a moment of De Ja Vu may be creeping in, after Punisher completed his grand slam against Cena.. but Cena is confident lightning wont strike in the same place twice. He feels he can defeat Wes Ikeda, and retain the championship he fought so hard against MDK for. Cena is obviously confident ahead of his match with the former World Champion.. but as always, before he can get down to his in ring action.. a promo is in order!)

(The scene opens. We go live to an EMF event. A Limo is shown pulling up. Josh Matthews quickly approaches it, as the driver emerges and goes to open the door.)
Josh: "Well Driver.. we are expecting any moment now the arrival of Revolution.. because tonight at this house show, they are holding a party to celebrate their great streak at the moment, and the fact that Cena, Rhyno and Trish all hold championship belts! Can you tell me, who are you drving into this party?"
(The driver says nothing. Instead he opens the door, and Torrie Wilson and Dude Nick emerge from the Limo. Josh approaches them, and begins a brief interview. Nick and Torrie are both wearing the new Revolution T-Shirts (Nick's saying "Human Wrecking Ball" and Torrie's plainly "EMF Diva", under thier "Revolution is your Solution" jackets.)
Josh: "Well, Nick, Torrie, obviously this party is in your honour, and the honour of John Cena, Rhyno and Trish, Revolution's champions.. but i'm told tonight Cena will also be giving his promo for his match with Wes Ikeda. Can either of you tell me ho the Champion is feeling going into this match?"
"The Human Wrecking Ball" Dude Nick: "I'll take this one Josh.. I mean, Torrie is hot, but is probably too blonde to take this question properly... I've spoken to John not long ago, and i can confirm for you he is MORE than up for Ikeda. Sure, Wes Ikeda is a legend of our company, but that's ALL in the past. John Cena however, is the presnt, and he KNOWS it. He is perhaps the greatese pure athelete in the EMF today, and he is Intercontinental Champion for a reason! Michael De Kreek is a great athlete, whom i've beaten once, and who's beaten me.. but when Cena beat him, he beat him in STYLE! In fact when John does anything, he does it with style. Like this party tonight Josh.. i mean the only thing here that's not worth a HELL of a lot of money is you.. and your only here to great the people that are REALLY important! You asked me how Cena's feeling.. why don;t you ask me how the Human Wrecking Ball Dude Nick is feeling... coz i'll tell you for nothing, i'm feeling GREAT! I've had a huge win over Neddie not long ago! And then I went on to beat Denis Kettleburg to earn the right to fight for the Extreme Championship. But as you pointed out with your rude question.. tonight is mainly about my leader.. the Franchise.. JOhn Cena!!! He hand created Revolution, and he is hosting this event tonight! So to get to your REAL question Josh, Cena wanted me to inform you all that he is feeling the best in his entire life! I mean, him and Trish have been celebrating his win for days... not OUT celebrating.. just celebrating if you know what i mean.. but he's in great shape, great mind set, and looking forward to a good challenge against Mr Ikeda. He is confident of success.. but also knows it wont come with ease. He respects the achievements of Wes, and knows this will give him one hell of a match. However, as always, The Doctor of Thugonomics is confident he can, and WILL come out on top in his match, and that he will retain the EMF Intercontinental Championship! After all, it is his first defence of the title.. and he knows he really can't afford to throw away his championship so soon after winning it. Also, I personally want to inform you that Revolution are on an AMAZING run of unbeaten matches. Cena himself has only lost once recently in singles competition, and since joining Revolution i have been on the most successful run of my own career. Trish is STILL women's champion, and Rhyno STILL holds that Extreme title. Revolution is doing the most amazing things the EMF has ever seen, and this is just the beginning! When Cena pins Ikeda 1, 2, 3 that run will be extended, and their will be yet another legend added to Cena's list of victims! He has been in the ring with all the top men of the industry, and Ikeda will be just another name! But of all of them, not ONE has come out of the ring with the same opinion of his as before they went in. They all go in thinknig he's a pushover, and even Punisher who has 3 wins over him.. will come out and tell you that he KNOWS John Cena has potential between those ropes. Pun's beaten the best, but who is it he repeatedly mentions in his promos... Cena. "When I beat Cena...", "Remember when i faced Cena...", "In my match with Cena...". Punisher is PROUD to have beaten Cena, coz it is such a hard thing to accomplish, and it is so god damn rare. Beating Cena is like winning a horse race with a horse of odds 200/1.. there's that tiny tiny chance.. but when it happens, the whole world is stunned! Cena is without doubt one of the greatest competors the EMF has seen in a LONG time, and his record speaks for itself... TWO defeats one on one, of all those matches he's had... TWO defeats. One was cheated, and one was due to outside interference.. I don't call that half bad... that's fucking AMAZING! I mean, come on.. this guy's got one foot in the HOF already.. he's bound to be there.. coz there's just nobody better. There is nobody in the world who can match John Cena for in ring ability. He took me literally from rags to riches, not that i was poor before, but now look at me. I ride around in Limos, go to all the best parties, have girls dying to be with me.. And i'm part of the greatest stable the EMF has EVER seen. If that's not an achievement I dunno what is... but what did I have before John Cena.. NOTHING. But you asked me hoe the champ is feeling.. it depends a great deal on who you refer to as "The Champ". If you are referiing to myself or Torrie, who could be known as champs for being part of such an elite stable, we are looknig forward to seeing Cena totally rip the head off the shoulders of Ikeda and shove it somewhere in a bloody rampage on route to defending the IC title. If your referring to the Women's champion Trish Stratus, or the Extreme Champion Rhyno, they will be worrying bout their own titles, but also will be supporting their great leader John Cena, and looking to see the distruction we all know he's capable of. But if, IF you are referring to THE champ, as in the great John Cena! Then he is feeling the top of the world! He's fresh off the back of a mixed tag victory with his girlfriend, and is looknig forward to his first defence of the Intercontinental Championship of the world! He is looknig forward to beating another former World Champion.. and this time denying a man a chance to become a grandslam champion! He is looknig forward to showing the world that he is the greatest athelete in existance today, and that he is UNSTOPPABLE! I might be the wrecking ball.. and Rhyno might be the man beast, but neither of us, nor anyone else in this industry could EVER live up to Cena. Nobody will ever be as dominant as him. Yea maybe he loses the odd match and can't claim to be "unbeatable", but hes the only superstar that wont be effected by defeat, and will ocme back time and time again and not only survive.. but WIN his matches! And that, that is what makes him and all his pupils.. REVOLUTIONARY"
Josh: "Well thanks for that Nick.. you and Torrie get inside and enjoy the party, coz someone else important is just pulling up.. I remain hopeful that the Franchise John Cena is here now! Let's go have a look who's in Limo number 2..."
(The Limo driver gets out, and opens the passenger door. In true wrestling fasion, out steps Rhyno, holding his Extrme Title belt aloft. The fans roar his arrival, and Josh goes over to talk to him.)
Josh: "Oh Rhyno.. I was expecting John.. but anyway you'll do for now... How do you feel going into tonights big Revolution honour party?"
"The Man Beast" Rhyno: "A party to honour the greatest stable of all time... how fitting. And all i've got to say is it's about time to. Revolution deserved to be honoured, and i'm glad someone finally got their ass into gear and made it happen. BUt as well as this being about Revolution, it's just as much about our leader, John Cena, doing a promo for his huge match coming up against Wes Ikeda for the Intercontinental Championship! Revolution lost the TV Championship, but Cena being Cena sprang straight back up and captured the IC belt for us. Revolution needs gold... Revolution breathes Gold... and that's the reason why Cena will most definately retain his championship when Ikeda comes calling for it. Yea Ikeda has been in the business longer.. and yea he comes from a family of successful wrestlers, BUT that wont help him against the Franchise John Cena! John Cena is quite literally untouchable.. as his theme song says! He CANNOT be beaten one on one unless he is screwed out of the match. When he lost to Flair it was too the brass knucks. When he lost to Pun, it was down to Spalding getting in the way. His other defeats have come in Tag Team Action and NOT in singles competitions! Therefore he has a claim to be one of the greatest atheletes EVER to grace the EMF. And i know for a damn fact he does not fear Wes Ikeda.He does not fear a man that had every championship but one, and then left for a LONG time. He has more rust than an Iron Gate in the middle of the ocean that's been there since the world was formed. John cena is no more scared of Wes then he is of a baby.. or a flower.. or cotton wool... or worse Kurt Angle! Wes Ikeda is a nobody now, a has been. He is not fit to step into the ring with John Cena. He's not ready to tie Cena's shoe, let alone watch Cena pump that shoe up before nailing him with an FU straight into the depths of hell. Cena is gonig to quite literaly DESTROY Wes Ikeda. He needs to make his return with a practice.. not go straight into the maajor leagues. Cena is too good for people that have been in a match every week for the past 6 months.. so what makes ikeda, who hasn't wrestled in AGES, think he can straight away come back and beat him. Cena doesn't lose to jsut anybody... it takes a special kinda athelete to be able to beat him. It takes someone that not only has held many championships, but that is 100%, and there is no way, no matter what kinda training he's doing.. that Ikeda can be 100% rust free when he steps into Cena's ring this week. Not to mention the fact that the CHAIN GANG!!! Will be in the house! And when the chain gang, aka the THUGOMANIACS!!! Are around, you know Cena is gonna be the winner eventually. Because what kinda wrestler can win a match when 100% of the crowd are against them! It's totally un heard of. I know if i went into a match, and every single fan was booing me and cheering for the other guy.. even if the other guy was Kurt Angle.. there'd be a chance i could lose it. Now I know what your thinking.. how could Rhyno lose to Angle.. but it's that that keeps me winning. The fact that the fans beleive in me. But all you people watching.. LET ME HEAR IF YOUR FAVOURITE SUPERSTAR IN THE DOCTOR JOHN CENA!! (The fans roar at a HUGE tempo) My point is proven. John Cena is so popular it's untrue. He cannot be beaten for populrity of the fans. And i know your all thinking "This is the EMF, not a popularity contest".. but you'll never know how much having the fans behind you really contributes towards how well you can wrestle in that ring! It makes you a hundred percent better, and the one man that knows that best of all is Cena himself! Cena thrives of the support of ALL his Thugomaniacs world wide! It makes him the athelete he is today.. it makes him the franchise player in the EMF! It makes him unbeatable, and even more importantly.. it makes him the IC champion of the world! Think of it that way.. Cena is the 2nd highest superstar in this industry, and he's not behind Angelus by that much. If he were to lose to Ikeda, I wouldn't bet against him smashing up the competition and getting to Angelus, then taking the World Heavyweight Championship from around his waist. And you can't even say that defeat would destroy Cena's morale.. coz defeat just does not damage him whatsoever. He loses, he comes back and wins. He cannot be kept down.. and that's the one thing every EMF superstar is jealous of. FOr a great example, take Denis Kettleburg. He was on a HUGE roll when he first came here.. but a few defeats, and now he's finding it hard to stop losing! I mean I myslef have now beaten him 3 times! Many a superstar would suffer the same fate upon defeat, and would lose again and again until their career was nothing but one of those lame ass guys who compete in house show openers! However, John Cena doesn't care about losing. Yea he is 100% dedicated in the ring, and he hates to lose like anyone else, but it will not effect him in future matches or in time afterwards. He just shakes it off and continues to kick everyone's ass as they step in his way. He just destroys anything and anyone in his path. DUde Nick may be the Human Wrecknig Ball.. but Cena causes way more carnage without even trying. Cena would take out anyone that had the guts to challenge him. He proved that in one week, by first accpeting a challenge from a nobody like Spalding.. just to prove he is not scared of the newbies, and then accepting a challenge from Wes.. proving he's not afraid of the legends. Cena doesn't fear anyone. He has faced off against Punisher no fewer than FOUR times if you include the battle rap.. nobody else would have the guts to do that.. but the Doctor did it. Pun is a man people fear before they've faced him once.. and each time he beats them.. you fear him more. But not Cena. Cena fears nobody, and Cena would not back down from ANYONE! And that's something Ikeda should learn. Wes hasn't been around for a LONG time.. and it leaves me to wonder who the hell he was running away from! Cena's longest vacation has been 3 weeks.. and that was coz he was handed a once in a life time training oppertunity, not because he was running away like no doubt Ikeda was for so GOd damn long! Cena is fearless, and that is another factor which leads to him being the BEST EMF superstar to EVER set foot in the ring. Ikeda has absolutely no chance against him, because when all of those factors add together, it makes one unstopable force.I know it, Revolution knows it... the whole freakin EMF knows it! And that INCLUDES Mr Former World champion Wes Ikeda! In case you didn't know... Cena has beaten a certain former world champion twice.. and also the fact is.. you might be a FORMER World Champion.. but Cena is a FUTURE World Champion! Even Angelus Archer wont deny that... Cena has the most in ring potential of anyone to come through the EMF, and one day he will prove that to you all by succeding on the highest stage. Until then, let the IC reign continue for a long time.. by letting John Cena score an easy win over Ikeda and let it be the first of many of them! Let it be the beginning of a LONG Intercontinental Championship reign, and let Ikeda learsn thet NOBODY takes gold away from the EMF's greatest stable.. NOBODY! That includes Ikeda, that anybody else the EMF cares to name.. and from now that even includes PUNISHER! Because nobody will EVER again beat a Revolution champion and that's a fact!"
Josh: "I'm sure you could continue for ever Rhyno.. but a MUCH more impressive Limo jsut pulled up.. that's GOT to be Cena himself.. so get inside, join Nick and i'll go talk to the Franchise... at God DAMN last! Thanks Rhyno.. catch you later!"
(Rhyno stares at Josh, as if insulted by him, but lets it go givern the occasion. He throws his title over his shoulder and walks into the party. He is weraing similar attire to Nick, only his T-Shirt saying "Man Beast". He leaves, and Josh goes over to the 3rd Limo to arrive. However this time.. Trish Stratus appears with her womens championship. In the eyes of any man she looks HOT!! Wearing a low cut evening-gown style dress. SHe emerges and Josh talkes to her. The fans watching both live and at the houseshow roar at her arrival.)
Josh: "Oh Trish.. I was expecting John.. i've been waiting HOURS..."
Trish: "You were expecting the champ to turn up in a car like this.. correct this is top of the range.. so..."
(The fans ROAR thier loudest as above the door the IC belt appears. then the man they've all been waiting for steps out. The crowd are doing thier nuts as Cena emerges, wearing "Doctor of Thugonomics" T-Shirt with again similar attire. He puts an arm round the gorgeous Trish, and takes a microphone.)
Cena: "YO YO YO YO YO! Is the chain gang in the house tonight!!! (Crowd ROAR) I really have to decide whether to call you the Chain Gang or the Thugomaniacs.. but that can wait til later! And before you interupt me Josh.. there's something I wanna say for all my fans... THE CHAMP IS HERE!!! And as the Intercontinental Champion it is my duty to this week.. defend my championship this week for the first time since pinning MDK 1, 2 3 for it not long ago! I was givern a few weeks off, returned to defeat Spalding and Christy along with Trish, and then i will go on and defeat one of the Ikeda's.. and add him to the list of people who CAN'T SEE ME!!! Coz Ikeda, you forget I am THE Franchise of the EMF, and I AM the regning Intercontinental champion, and in your LONG career, this is the one championship you have NEVER been able to hold! I captured it after only a few months, and captured it from an EXTREMELY long reigning and talented champion. I beat the best to become the best, the way it should be done. But.. although if you pinned me you would have BEATEN the best, you will not become the best for doing so.. coz whatever happens, Cena will always be the greatest talent in the EMF! If you beat me, i'll go on and win another title quickly. Maybe i'll come back for my IC or TV titles.. or maybe i'll move onwards and upwards towards the World Championship! Whatever i do, it is impossible to keep gold from around my waist. My waist is a magnet, not only to women, but also to Gold! For only 2 weeks has John Cena been without gold since he first got givern a title shot, and those 2 weeks gave me 2 wins anyway. Seeing Cena without gold is like seeing JR without King.. or Kurt Angle without him complaining... it's jsut so god damn rare! Why you ask? Because i'm just that good! I have only lost TWICE, TWICE God damn it in one on ones. I know i mention that a lot but think about it... that record is AMAZING! I don't see ANY one else in this company with a record to match that one! And yes you could argue that one of my 2 defeats was the match out of all of them i'd most like to have won... against The Punisher, but it's also the match i was most likely to lose.. coz he is so good at what he does.. but Ikeda CANNOT live up to his level of in ring ability. I don't care who it is i'm beating, as long as my title stays around my waist.. and should i lose it.. should I have it stolen from me by this has been Ikeda.. then as I said, I will take whatever title takes my fancy after that. It could even be the Extreme Championship.. (laughs), only joking Rhyno.. i'll wait til you lose it first.. HA, Revolution losing a championship... it's funny to even think about something that unlikely. it's more likely for Kurt Angle to make Angelus Archer tap out to a headlock and win the World Title... coz a few weeks ago i told you Revolution just got serious... and there's not a lot to be more serious about in this company than the Intercontinental championship of the world! Nobody thought Cena could beat MDK.. NOBODY! But he did.. and he took the title home for Revolution! He also made a statement on the behalf of this amazing stable.. an that statement was we CAN and we WILL win the big name titles, and we CAN and we WILL beat whoever we want. So becareful Mr Ikeda.. because not ONLY are you facing the Franchise, not ONLY are you facing Revolution.. not ONLY are you facing all my attributes nicely named by Rhyno earlier and many more he left out.. not ONLY are you facing all my Thugomaniacs!!! But your also facing the biggest force in sports-entertainment history! Time after time i've beat the odds and proven people wrong, and this time will be no exception! DId anyone think I could take a partner like James Hardy and defeat Dewey Pond and Wasabi.. the legend Wasabi.. NO they did not! Did anyone think a week later I would defeat Wasabi again, this time 1 on 1... NO they did no! Did anyone think I would even beat Kettleburg to claim the championship in the first place.. NO! John Cena is constanyl proving all his doubters wrong and showing the world why he is the best thing ever to fight under the name EMF superstar. Nobody can see it, and nobody expects it.. but slowly and surely, John Cena is defeating the entire roster one by one.. only Punisher so far has defied me more than once.. but I am confident that one day I will come back and defeat him. But, altthough I keep mentioning him.. this week is not about Punisher whatsoever. No, it is more so about my newest challnger.. who's name by now you all know. Yea it's true.. John cena is facing Wes ikeda for the Intercontinental Championship. MDK kept delaying facing Wes because he was scared.. but Cena.. Cena is NOT scared! Cna would not be scared to take on the entire EMF roster in a handicap hell in a cell.. because when it comes to ANY match in that ring, John Cena is not afraid. John Cena could win any match put in front of him. I'm not saying i would win any match.. but I certainly have the capability to win any match, which is more than can be said for most out there! And Ikeda, when you step into MY ring, into Cena's ring, surrounded by the Cena fans and everything pointing my way.. you will be afraid. And when your afraid, you will not be 100%.. and if your not 100% then you will NOT walk out of here with the EMF IC belt! It would be impossible! At 100% it might be a little challenge.. but if your even 99%.. even is it's only for a matter of seconds.. you will be FU'ed into the ground and it will be over too quickly for you to think about it! Once the referees hand comes down for a 3rd time.. it will be me who's hand he raises, and me who is STILL the Intercontinental Champion. I have only been beaten once for a championship.. and i don't intend on making that 2 anytime in the near future. I haven't even had time to make this championship spin yet.. let alone lose it anytime soon. In fact.. the day I lose the IC title will be the day i forfeit it to chase after the world title, and i wont do that til i'm SURE i can take down the champion and take his title. It's that simple... Cena wants the title, Cena gets the title. I wanted the TV, I got it. I wanted something bigger.. I got the IC. Right now I just want to keep hold of this title for as long as possible and see where it takes me. If i WANt to retain my title, i WILL Ikeda.. just you keep that in mind all the time your in that ring with me!"
Josh: "Ok thanks for that John... Im was just wondering if you could tell me.. how are you feeling ahead of your big match with Wes Ikeda? And how confident are you of a successful Championship defence?"
Cena: "How am I feeling? How am I feeling? I'm feeling the best i've felt in my entier career! Why i hear you ask.. COZ I'M THE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION OF THE WORLD! THE CHAMP IS HERE! And come the end of Shockwave the champ will STILL be here.. after he FU's the hell out of Mr Ikeda, the so called "Underdog..." If you wanted a name.. why chose the underdog man? If you were implying i'm the underdog.. your clearly mistaken, because I, John Cena am NEVER the underdog! But if you were saying you were.. your DAMN right! Your as much the underdog as a.. what's that saying again.. a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest! You couldn't defeat me in that ring if I had both my hands tied behind my back and you had support from all the freakin Ikeda's! You couldn't beat me if an Ikeda was the bloody referee.. i'd still knock you both out and motivate the ref's hand for the pin fall. Your chances of beating the franchise are less than none... and my God you KNOW that! You know you can't beat me.. just like you couldn't beat MDK ,which is why you never officially got round to challenging him.. you always claimed you would.. but there's those who talk about it.. and those there's those who BE about it! Your one that does the talking, you can talk about it.. but me and my thugomaniacs.. we BE about it! I wanted MDK, I took MDK 2 weeks later, as soon as I could. I didn't run around for months telling him I was comnig.. but never did. In fact, how do I know your gonnashow up on Shockwave.. this is probably all just some hoax to scare me.. well guess what Wes.. It aint working! Your not scaring me, your not scaring ANYONE! You make one lame ass comeback with some weird little message after my easy win last week.. and you expect me to be all scared.. well Wes.. It's simply not happening! I know exactly your type.. you'll try and claim your grandslam, fail and crawl straight back into whatever hole you climbed out of. You simply can't vut it in this industry any longer.. YOUR FINISHED! You were good years ago.. but your well past your sell by date now Ikeda. Your chance of beating me don't even measure on the scale.. coz they just don;t exist. You can by all means, bring what you have left that hasn't gone rusty into my ring.. and ATTEMPT to defeat the greatest Intercontinental champion that EVER lived.. but will you do so.. no you wont. The reason is.. coz i'm John Cena! The Franchise player in EMF! The greatest natural born wrestler to EVER set foot on the planet. I've got more natural talent then your Punisher's or Angelus's could ever dream of, the company just gotta let me show that. Giving me matches against the likes of LKR and Angle, and last week Spalding.. that wont do it! Matches agaisnt Punisher, Undertaker, MDK, Wasabi and now Ikeda, that WILL prove it. THat will show these fans and that board of directors.. and EVERYONE in the locker room that Cena means business.. and that Cena is the best damn wrestler alive today. Many people have recently claimed the title "Wrestling God", but those so called Gods will have NOTHING a few years down the line! They are old men who have been in the business too long.. and will soon lose it all. Not Cena! I'm young fresh talent, but i'm also an amazing competiter in my own right already! If you don't beleive it.. just ask anyone i've beat recently. Ask Michael De Kreek.. he too underestimated the power of myself.. and look what it cost him *raises IC Championship belt*! It cost him his entire life! Have you seen him wrestle since he lost to me? No you haven't.. you know why... because he's still crying with the pain I inflicted on him when I took this championship from around his waist! His whole life was dedicatd to being the IC champion.. and I took what he had and shoved it straight down the nearest drain! YOu Ikeda have nothing I can do that with.. but i'm still going to quite literally destroy you! when i'm done with you, just like Chaos, just like Lion and just like Wasabi.. we will NOT be seeing you around here again! I killed off 3 careers during your little time away.. not to mention ending 2 championship reigns and having 2 reigns of my own. One which lasted months before I went out to the best.. and one which has only just begun.. and which will continue long after your career ends this week! The FU is unbeatable! As soon as i NAIL you with one at full impact, you will wish you had never returned to the EMF, becasue you will feel pain like you've never felt in your life. There's a reason you've never held this title! It's because it was my destiny to keep it out of your reach! To hold it above my head and leave you jumping, trying to cling hold of it, but alwyas just narrowly, narrowly failing! Matter of fact it wont actually be that narrow.. it will just be the FU, followed by the 1... 2... 3! It will just be that damn simple. Nobody, and i mean NOBODY kicks out once I nail them with an FU, and you will realise that as soon as it's too late. As soon as your on the floor and my victory is confirmed, you will cry your little eyes out.. and my fans will be jumping for joy, but the fact will remain that I AM the Intercontinental Champion of the world.. and I AM the Doctor of Thugonomics, the greatest athelete in the EMF today! And that Ikeda is not opinion.. that is stone cold fact! So Josh to get to your question.. how am I feelnig ahead of taking on Ikeda.. as I say week in week out.. John Cena is EXTREMELY confident of success over Ikeda this week.. in fact i'm more confident than EVER before! Because I'm on a role now. I may have been halted very slightly with the loss of my TV Championship, but i've moved onwards and upwards, and now am perhaps at the peak of my EMF career to date. And Ikeda.. I know your type. The Former world champions who think they're all that.. and on more than one occasion i've pulled off the upset over them. I just hope you know what your getting into the ring with.. coz it's not just John Cena.. i'm not like any of your other superstars.. I am an ELITE EMF superstar! I am perhaps right now the most wanted name on the roster.. simply because i'm just that good! I could FU the hell out of ANY superstar this federation has to offer and pin them for the 3 count, and i've more than proven that! And you also asked of my confidence? As I said earlier i'm the most confident i've EVER been! My reason for this is.. once I defeat Ikeda in the middle of that ring, i will FINALLY prove to you all that I am serious, and that i AM the Franchise of the EMF! And that Josh.. is all I have to say to you.. because my guests await me! So i'll catch you later man... Word Life!"
Josh: "A once in a LIFE TIME oppertunity there for me to interview the great IC champion John Cena! We will bring you live coverage from inside this one off Revolution celebration event.. when we come back!"
(Cena and Trish both take their championships and enter the building. They both have their titles over their shoulders. THe tittantron goes blank at this point. A few hours later it returns to Josh Matthewws standing outside.)
Josh: "Well i apologise for the delay.. it would seem we were not allowed into Revolution's party after all.. but we have just been granted entry.. took quite some time to get the message through the John, obviously a popular man tonight.. but he's allowing us in, so as me and the camera's enter I want to once again apologise for the delay.. and say I hope you enjoyed the action from the house show... ok in we go.."
(The camera's enter. THey go into a room packed full of guests, with food, dancing and a hell of a lot of shouting and laughing. Cena is immediately noticeable across the room. Josh tries to get to him, but his path is blocked by the hundreds of guests. However they suddenrly all start chanting SPEECH, SPEECH, SPEECH. Cena then stands on a chair to dominate the room, and gives a speech.)
Cena: "Ladies and Gentlemen.. I thank you all for coming to this event tonight. HA i'm only kidding I mean.. ARE THE CHAIN GANG PRESENT AT THIS ROCKING PARTY TONIGHT!!! Of course you all are! But ther's just one serious point i'd like to make.. I know you all believe this party is to honour Revolution.. and to some extent it is, but I'd also like to dedicate this evening to a woman very close to me.. who tragically passed away not so long ago. It's effected me and all my close friends at this tragic time.. and i'd just like to say this amazing night is also for her! It's a shame she couldn't be with us.. but for those of us who are still around.. it's gonna be one HELL of a night! But I know this is also about my one on one championship defence with Wes Ikeda.. so i guess I better get straight onto that! Wes Ikeda has a long and successful history as i'm sure you'll all aware. But as you'll also be aware.. he has NEVER faced a challenge quite like the Doctor of Thugonomics himself.. JOHN CENA! Coz when it comes to my IC Championship, i'm gonna treat it much like my TV Championship.. and that's retain it at ALL costs! Whether I can pin you.. make you tap.. or even make one of us get counted out or disqualified.. even if its me that gets disqualified.. I don't care, as long as my Intercontinental Championship stays around MY waist! And i'm betting you haven't faced many people like me... people with as much support from the fans and from the locker room as I have! People with as much in ring ability as I have! People who can throw as great a party as I have! People that can hit their finisher like I can! Mr Ikeda.. you may have been World Champion.. but have you EVER been Intercontinental Champion.. NO! Did you hold this federations second biggest titles just months after joining it.. NO! DId you hand create the most dominant stable this comapny has to offer... NO! Have you been the world's most successful and popular superstar... NO! FOr God sake i'm John Cena... what do you take me for! I aint no newbie champion who's just gonna run away and drop you the title coz you make some kinda eeree message on a titantron.. i'm not scared of that Wes! As you were correctly told earlier... John Cena fears nobody! And when you come into that ring.. weird message or not.. your just another superstar for me to kick the shit out of! The words to your theme song say "On this day, I see Clearly, Everything has come to life!" Well Mr Ikeda... the only thing coming to life this Shockwave will be the John Cena er! And you Ikeda will not be seeing anything clearly... except for a few hours later if your lucky you might see the inside of a hospital ward quite clearly! "A bitter place, and a broken dream, and we'll leave it all behind!" Those lyrics couldn't sum you up better if they were written for you Ikeda... Alter Bridge should be proud of themselves! Shockwave will well and truely be both a bitter place and a broken dream for you Ikeda! A bitter place coz it will be the place where you realise your not as good as untouchable John Cena! And a broken dream when your grand return.. and even more importantly.. your chances of being a grandslam champion are completely and utterly destroyed by myself! And my God what you'll be leaving behind.. any hope you had of a victorious return. Any records or streaks your carrying over.. and the chances of being IC champ.. you will most definately leave it all behind! But there's just one more little section of that song i'd like to quote to you guys here tonight... and it goes "Fear will kill me, all I could be"! Ikeda, you have very wisely chosen your theme song to reflect your feelings of the upcoming match! Your fear of John Cena will no doubt kill you before you've even entered the ring.. and you WILL be left thinknig about all you could have been! Your theme song is very fitting for this week Wes.. and you will soon relate to the song much more than you ever thought you would when you picked it! When i'm done with you.. just think about what i've said here, and think about those lyrics.. and you will realise you have perhaps the best theme in the EMF for reflecting your charector.. and you will no doubt be happy about that.. but don't be too happy.. coz although you'll have a fitting theme.. you will NOT have the Intercontinental Championship of the world! And you will NOT have the capability of returning to the ring for quite some time.. because I John Cena promise to not only beat Ikeda.. but to injure him and send him out of the arena in an AMBULANCE! No body EVER tries to come between me and my championship and gets away with it. Many people have learnt that recently.. and many peple still have to learn it! But one day it will be a fact universally acknoledged.. that you DO NOT, under ANY circumstances, try and take a championship from the Doctor of Thugonomics.. or you will PAY for it! Coz Ikeda this Shockwave I wont only be fighting you for the championship.. or the pride.. or for my MILLIONS of fans.. but I will be fighting for the rights of EVERY man, woman or child on this planet.. (OOC- had to use the Hogan reference..) coz Ikeda, they deserve to have a champion they can be proud of. They deserve to have a champion that loves the fans and that they like and that they WANT to represent them as their champion. If you were to hold a title again.. no doubt it would ALL be about you and not at all about them! That's not what this industry needs. The industry needs someone who is gonna pull in the big crowds.. and that's only gonna happen with a champion that they love and respect.. and that champion sure as hell aint you Ikeda!"
(The crowd roar Cena's speech, and he jumps down and continues the party. THe camer'as are focosing on everything.. but soon take focus on the gorgeous duo of Trish Stratus and Torrie Wilson talknig to eachother.)
Torrie: "Sure John's amaznig and everything.. but this Ikeda he's facing.. he's like legendary isn't he..."
Trish: "Are you saying you don't think John can beat Wes?"
Torrie: "No not at all.. you know how much I think of him as a leader and as a friend.. but the thing is.. Ikeda has like legend status and Cena doesn't.. that's got to be for a reason!"
Trish: "Oh it's for a reason alright.. it's for the simple reason that he was here first! If Cena had moved out of the WWE quick enough.. he would be a legend already! But Ikeda got here first, and was stealing champinoships way before Cena had even heard of the EMF.. so that when Cena got here, Ikeda was already known for being a legend. However Ikeda has not once been in the ring since Cena arrived.. and has most DEFINATELY not faced anyone in his entire career who could give him even half the match that Cena could. John is THE man of the EMF right now. He is on a roll and in rolling he managed to accumilate the Intercontinental CHampionship, not to mention being the Number One Contender for the Tag Team Titles. He's the most decorated superstar in sports entertainment today. He didn't pin John "Bradshaw" Layfeild at wrestlemania 21, the biggest night in WWE's histroy for nothing. But his WWE days are long behind him, and he is now the EMF's Intercontinental Champion, he won the championship at Return of an Era, one month and one week ago, and i highly doubt he'll lose it this week on Shockwave.. especially to an opponent like Wes Ikeda. I mean sure, Wes had his glory days where he was considered talented.. but he's been gone for too long and nobody cares about him anymore. He's just a washed up old has been that comes back and Mike being the softy that he is automatically awarded him a title shot.. he didn't even have to earn it! I mean, just because he's some kind of legend.. doesn't mean he can side step a little thing we know as the Number One contenders match. If Ikeda had EARNT the shot, then there could be no complaints, but he just waltzed in and demanded a bloody shot.. and he is givern it. Mike's excuse being that Ikeda was promised a shot under the Intercontinental Championssip challenge.. and due to the fact that it wasn't convenient for Ikeda to take the shot until now.. John was givern one first! So what else is gonna be givern coz it's not conveniant for Saint Wes Mike? How about he can chose the stipulation.. or he can chose the referee... or he can make it 2 out of 3 falls, then 3 out of 5 etc until he wins or has had his ass kicked so badly he quits.. coz if your just gonna go roud making matches when it's conveniant for people.. us champions are NEVER gonna get a break. What if Christy beats Victoria this week.. are you going to let her chose the night she gets her shot at me? Are you gonna let her walk all over you and demand everything? Hopefully she'll be getting her own way a different way to Wes.. coz if Wes Ikeda took a leaf out of christy's book i'd be really worried bout the both of you.. but anyway, back tohow my amazing boyfriend John is gonna kick the holy shit out of a nobody called Wes... John Cena has been without a doubt one of the most successful superstars ever to grace this world. He moved from the TV Title to the I title in only 2 weeks.. now thats amazing! And he has also put together the most elite group of superstars ever assembled in Revolution.. and recruited you to be part of it Torrie, so you have a lot to be thankful of John for. He put you, and plenty of others on the map as far as thier careers are concerned. He's responsible for creating more superstars than anyone else on the roster i should imagine, because when he came here all he wnted to do was A) Be Successful and B) Make others Successful. I don't think anyone can argue that he has done both of those things extremely well. He is already setting his sights on the top prize of the fed, and on one day completing his grandslam of all championships. No doubt he will do it all, but for now he just wants to add Ikeda's name to his hit list. There are so many people he has pinned in that ring I lost count. I mean, I've been with John since around the time he captured his first EMF championship, and i've seen him in action countless times.. but not once has he put in a performance I haven't thought was exceptional. He is seriously the greatest male athelete the world has ever seen, and when he has the greatest female to look after him and attend to all his needs.. that's only going to help him. I mean, I don't take any credit for his successes, but I like to think I certainly contribute to him being the happiest man alive all the time. And the fact that he is so happy and has such huge morale is only gonig to help him when it comes down to him and Ikeda, one on one for the EMF Intercontinental Championship. I personally think he is a dead cert to win this match, because he is jsut so focused, so alert, and he just loves his Intercontinental title belt so much. I mean, i've seen the plans for the belt he wants to unvail if he beats Ikeda.. if you thought his spinning WWE Championship was something you aint seen nothing yet! And John wouldn't have invested so much money into a new title belt if he wasn't 100% confident of scoring the win over Ikeda this week. SO when he nails Ikeda with the FU, and pins him 1, 2, 3 and earl hebner of whoever is referee for this match hands him the IC belt back, take a good long look at it.. coz as soon as Cena leaves the arena, that belt gets framed and hung in his room as the last man to hold it.. before the new title, the MUCH nicer looknig IC Championship belt is bought out next time you see him. Then, whenever he is beaten, the new champion can chose which title he wants i suppose.. but he will no doubt want to keep Cena's custom title, because it is just so cool. ANd if they want the old one back, Cena still gets a questionably even better belt to remind him of his time as IC champ.. so whatever happens people will always remember that John Cena had a hugely successful run as Intercontinental Champion, and that it begun with a rin over Captain ring-rust himself, Wes Ikeda! But any way Torrie i'm no doubt boring you.. and no doubt you wanna go off hang with Nick.. so don't let me keep you. I'll see you later no doubt.. but i'm gonna go find Chyna.. i hear she decided to gate crash.. and i'm gonna go laugh in her face about the fact that I have what she never did..."
(The camera flicks around the room. Dude Nick is shown sitting in the corner, talking to one of the guests, looking really involved in conversation. Little bits are heard, something about how Cena's FU is going to anialate Ikeda, and when he's done, Revolution will make Wes famous! Torrie turns back to Trish.)
Torrie: "Looks like Nick is busy.. if you don't mind, I think i might go ask John a question bout his match.. I know it's your job but like i'd really like to get more involved here..."
Trish: "Be my guest.. i've got some first class gloating to do anyway.. bye Torrie."
(The camera's follow Torrie around the room. Cena is deep in conversation and laughing with about 4 other guests. However he spots Torrie and asks them to excuse him, and makes his way over to her.)
Cena: "Hey Torrie, looking for Nick?"
Torrie: "Nah he's busy.. I was gonna talk to you but go back to your conversation it's alright.."
Cena: "Don't be stupid.. they aren't important. You are one of the guests of honour, and your as important to Revolution as anyone else, jsut because you haven't wreslted yet your still an important link. Anyway, what did you want to talk about?"
Torrie: "It's probably kinda stupid really.. I was just wondering... are you like nervous about going into a match with someone as highly respected and well... legendary as Ikeda.. and like if you thought that Revolution might lose the IC Championship this week.."
Cena: "HAHAHA, I see now why Nick calls you blonde yet hot every week when he's in that ring.. that's perhaps the stupidest thing i've been asked.. do I think i'll lose the IC title.. nah not really it wasn't that bad a question, see Trish is teaching you some interviewing skills.. you do alright with Nick though. Ok to answer your question, am I nervous about facing Ikeda? Quite simply no i'm not. Why you might ask? Simply because all i'm doing this week is what i do week in week out.. stepping into a ring surrounded by thousands and thousands of fans, and wrestling my heart out for the ones that chant my name. For all the thugomaniacs and chain gang members world wide.. and for all his close friends and family. I dedicate every moment of my career to the people that cheer me on week in week out, and that's what motivates me to carry on wrestling, no matter how hard things get. That's what motivates me to step through those ropes at every givern oppertunity and wrestle my heard out. And that's what motivates me to NOT, under any circumstances, back down from a challenge. So no i'm not nervous about gonig up against Ikeda, coz i know that should I win, then there's notihng to worry about, and should I lose, then I have givern 100%, and hopefully my fans wont be too pissed off at me for losing one little match.. though that's a risk I prefer not to take. I enjoy beating people, and adding to the list of names of those that I have beaten. I enjoy hitting the FU on anyone that pisses me off, or anyone that gets in my way. I enjoy being a success, having people come up to me in the strets and asking for my autograph, having people email me begging for signed photos or wondering how much I can bench press.. it's a great life being an EMF superstar, and if you like it, then you do it. I enjoy wrestling for the EMF, so i do. And i enjoy kicking people's asses week in week out.. so I do. HOpefully this week I can continue that streak.. and pin Wes Ikeda 1, 2 3 and retain the gold that is rightfully mine. I mena, look how long Michael De Kreek held this title for.. and he was eventually beaten by yours truely.. so if I can beat such a long raigning champion, why can I not have a long reign myself? I think iI could hold this title for a record breaking amount of time if i really et my mind to it.. but Wes Ikeda is going to be a true test of my resolve and determination as a champion. He will no doubt provide me with one of the toughest matches of my career to date, but I will come out on top simply because I have more skill, more determination and i'm just simply the better athelete! No matter how many times I face Ikeda.. he will never be able to beat me because I am simply superior to him in every way. And you ask also, if i'm at all worreid about Revolution losing the Intercontinental Championship... of course i'm not! Revolution have only lost one championship in its history, and when they did they replaced it merely 2 weeks later. They already have their bases covered for the Extreme Title, in that Rhyno Vs Dude Nick will provide the title with the strongest champion, but they will still be in Revolution regardless.. and the women's championship has no major threats arriving on the stage. So you would say the only title Revolution are in danger of losing is the IC.. but the danger is so minute it barely counts. There's no way Ikeda is getting up after a good FU or even a good leg drop.. and it only takes a couple of seconds for me to nail one of them and he's done and dusted. One big shot.. and the title is retained. And then the referee hands me the title, and Wes Ikeda acts all tough.. pretends he doesn't care.. and then goes home and cries his little eyes out over his defeat to the Franchise! He will watch and rewatch the tapes... and will realise where he made his mistake, but even if he takes all that in and comes back and faces me again... he will slip up somewhere else and i'll beat him just as easily as before. He can try and try and try again.. but wil Ikeda ever be a grandslam champion.. hell no! In fact the only chance he has is if the title was changed to 24/7 defece like the old Hardcore title and he pinned me in my sleep.. even then i'd probably kick out as he's so worthless and has such a distinct lack of talent. I'd probably be awoken by the smell of his ring rust and be able to still beat the living hell out of him! Ikeda should just give up now.. coz the chances of him beating John Cena are absolute ZERO! In fact I would bet a hell of a lot of money on the outcome... if only you were allowed to bet on yuor own matches.. but who cares.. Ikeda is living in a dream world where he actually has a chance of beating me one on one for the Intercontinental Championship.. he probably thinks "Punisher beat Cena for the grand slam, so I can easily." Well Ikeda the world doesn't work like that! or a start, Punisher is a hell of a lot better than you.. but as well as that, Punisher ONLY beat me coz a little worm like Spalding took my mind off the game. I got revenge when I nailed a near perfect Atomic Leg Drop on him.. I only didn't score the win coz I didn't manage to sell the leg drop just right just yet.. but now I have studied it. .and taken a few more vitamins and said some prayers.. I think I could put Wes Ikeda away with it if the need arose! As a matter of fact i'm fairly confident I could put ANYONE away with it if the need arose, let alone bloody Wes Ikeda.. it would be simply too easy. SO I don't care if i'm FU'ing him into the ground or giving him the biggest boot this federation has ever seen before planting a leg drop down on him.. I wouldn't even care if i finished him off with a regular suplex.. as long as at the end of it all it is John Cena pinning Wes Ikeda 1, 2, 3 and retaining the second most important championship in the EMF's history! However he goes down, the only important thing is that he does. ANd after all is said and done, and the announcer says "Here is your winner... and STILL Intercontinental Champion!" that will be the greatest feeling known to man, coz I will know that I have beaten one of the best in this industry, and whateher or not he's any good now.. he still has his legend status from before.. and I will literally take that from him! I will quite literally paint the ring with his blood.. and it will be him, not me that has to "Live with the name"! It wont be Cena who never forgets this night.. coz it will be just anothe Championship defence, but for Ikeda, it will be a first class ass kicking like he's never had before in his life! He will finally know first hand what pain is all about... and he will regret EVER challenging for the Intercontinental Championship of the world! You will regret the incorrect assumption that you would get an easy target like MDK.. because of course you didn't.. you had to take on the worlds most influential superstar.. John Cena! I hope you enjoy being beaten up badly.. because it may be something that hasn't happend to you many times.. but it most certainly will THIS time when you get into the ring. It's gonna be Cena's night for certain, and the whole WORLD agrees with me! ALL the fans agree with me.. all the locker room agrees with me.. on some level Wes.. YOU agree with me because you know i'm right.. and you KNOW YOU CAN'T SEE ME!!!"
Torrie: "Well you've certainly made a believer out of me John.."
Cena: "Well i'm glad somebody listens to me.. anyway Torrie honey, as nice as it's been talknig to you.. do you want me to help you find Nick now, i;m sure he's missing you..."
Torrie: "Yea alright let's go find him.."
(The two go off to look for Nick. THe camera's follow them. They soon spot him talking on his cell phone. They go up to him with the cameras still on them.)
Dude Nick: (half shouting) "LOOK MATE, I CAN'T HEAR YOU. I'LL CALL YOU BACK LATER (hangs up) Hey John, and Torrie babes.. whats up guys?"
Torrie: "Oh me and John have jsut been talknig bout his match with Ikeda.."
Cena: "Yea but she missed you too much man.. so I thought i'd help her find you.. now that she's with you I think i'll go find Rhyno.. I aint seen him since he went off with that Brunette somewhere..."
Dude Nick: "Oh forget him.. he's probably taken her somewhere and showing her that he is "The Man Beast..." or something like that. But whilst i've got you John.. just one little thing I was wondering bout the Ikeda match myself! I mean, i've got an Extreme Title shot coming up and all... so where do you see things going for Revolution.. what with the IC title defence and the Extreme title match and whatever else?"
Cena: "God what's with all the questions today... I throw a party and all anyone wants to talk about is Wes fucking Ikeda... but I guess i'll take one more before the bar closes and we have to think bout leaving.. what do I see in the future for Revolution? I see the fact that either you or Rhyno will become a great Extreme Champion for a LONG time t come. The right man will win the title and will keep it for us for as long as possible. Trish will keep getting perfetic challenges from Christy and Victoria and will become bored of being women's champion after a while.. and I, well that remains to be seen.. It all begins for Cena Vs Wes Ikeda. Once i've beaten him and begun defending my Intercontinental Championship, who knows who will come calling next.. whoever it is, I will kick his ass, and do that to hte next one, and the next one, and the next one. Hopefully I will face slightly better opposition than those who MDK ended up facing.. Batista, Booker T and Dewey bloody Pond.. I want to face the top of the top, well, with the exception of the World CHampionship hunters.. and I want to beat them all one by one! Then when i've proven my worth, I want to drop the IC title to either Rhyno or Nick, whichever is not Extreme.. and move onwards to the top of the top, the World Championship. But before that time.. I want to break an EMF record.. something like longest reign as IC champ, or most successful defences.. i'm sure MDK didn't get too many of them as he never defended the bloody thing.. but Ikeda will be number one of what is hopefully many many successful defences for the Doctor of Thugonomics! As i said earlier, there's those who TALK about it, and there's those who BE about it! Ikeda, you have to decide which one of thm you are, coz if you are just gonna talk about it.. you wont ever beat the Franchise John Cena! If however your one of those who BE about it.. then I look forward to your challenge for this title, because Ikeda.. deep down I do look forward to facing you.. coz I look forward to BEATING THE LIVING HELL OUT OF YOU! I look forward to being able to say "I've beaten the Legendary Wes Ikeda", and i look forward to bragging about it in my future promos for future IC title defences, and I look forward to you making excuses for why you got your ass kicked so badly by me! I look forward to seeing you in the ring again, whther its Tag team, singles, or wahtever kind of action it is.. and reminding you of your defeat to me. But Ikeda, more than any of that.. I look forward to being on top of the ramp, looknig down at you, layed out, centre of the ring, with my title over my shoulder, and smiling. ANd i look forward to the whole world seeing that i'm the better athelete, the better man, and that I am the legend and NOT you as they thought. I look forward to getting backstage and drinking champagne with my Revolution buddies as we celebrate another unbeaten night.. and I look forward to getting back to my mansion with Trish and celebrating my win all night long! So Ikeda, if i WANT to beat you this much.. what on earth makes you think you can actually stop me> Coz i've got news for you Ikeda.. you CANNOT stop John Cena! Nobody can stop John Cena.. you just ask Punisher. No matter how many times he beats me.. I come back for more.. i'm like the wasp that just wont die no matter how many times you swing at it... eventually it's gonna come back and sting you on the ass! And Ikeda, you will learn a valuable lesson from facing me.. and that lesson is, no matter how long you've been in this industry.. you cannot get an easy match out of John Cena! John Cena will fight until the death, you could hit whatever your crappy finisher is.. and i'd still kick out of it. I'm just untouchable.. and UNBEATABLE! Ikeda, it's time for you to face your first true test.. but when you step into that ring with me ou will wish you had never been born.. because Ikeda.. i'm gonna bet so much blood out of you that you pass out and wake up weeks from now, in a hospital bed, not only fighting for your career.. but for your LIFE! Dude Nick: "One hell of a promo this week John.. but the real test is yet to come.."
Torrie: "Yea John, when you FINALLY step into the ring with Wes Ikeda!"
Cena: "Yea, but the thing Ikeda needs to understand is..."
(Just then Trish appears, still in her extrmely hot red evening gown. She approaches Cena, Nick and Torrie.)
Trish: "Hey guys, where is Rhyno this evening?"
Dude Nick: "I saw him leaving with some girl ages ago.. aint seen him since.. think he's gone for an early night..."
Trish: "Fair enough... think we should do the same John.. i've been dying to slip out of this dress all evening... it's really uncomfortable..."
Cena: "Uncomfortable yet EXTRMELY hot.. anyway guys I need nobetter reason than that to leave.. people are going now the bar is closed anyway.. are you two coming with us or ou wanna stay on a bit?"
Dude Nick: "I think we'll stay jsut for a bit.. see off the remainder of the guests.. you guys go by all means."
