(The Camera’s switch on with Cena and Rhyno backstage in the
Revolution locker room)
Cena: “It feels good to be back here... don’t you agree?”
Rhyno: “Not particularly… I mean last time we were here was at Cold
Day In Hell, when we lost 2 mathes in one night..."
Cena: “I know, not looking great for Revolution right now…
But look, don’t be so down about it… Revolution ALWAYS bounce back,
once I beat Denis at Shockwave and become TV Champion, and you beat
Taker and get a push… things will be back on track!”
Rhyno: “Well god knows you deserve that title John… but do you
really think you can beat Denis… I mean he has just become champ
and everything…”
Cena: “Look Rhyno, don’t you go doubting what I can do… coz the
second you do that is the second you start you start doubting
Revolution… and if you do that… what will you ever achieve… Now as
far as Denis goes, I CAN and I WILL beat him, coz I’ve already lost
one title match here… I WILL NOT let that become two… you only get
some many chances in an industry like this… I already wasted one,
though that was not entirely my fault.. I can pin some of that on
the quite poor showing of my partner in that match… but this time
it will be different, this time it’s one on one, I’m responsible
for everything that happens… and this time, there will be no
handicap, no set backs, and NO mistakes… coz now its once again,
John Cena, One on one with Denis Kettleburg! Now Rhyno, you saw the
last time I faced him… I totally Kicked his arse! Now what am I
gonna do to him when I’m fired up to try and win my FIRST EMF
CHAMPONSHIP!!!”
Rhyno: “And then the CHAMP WILL BE HERE!!!”
Cena: “That’s right Rhyno… the champ WILL be here, this time next
week, I will FINALY be an EMF champion, and then anyone that ever
doubted my ability will be proved wrong, when my 3 match losing
reign ends… and I am crowned champion, it will be the greatest
moment in Sports Entertainment History, because it will be the
very, very beginning of a new era, the JOHN CEAN ERA, because one
day Rhyno, I will be the greatest wrestler in the EMF, hell the
greatest wrestler in EMF’s history… but that day is a long, long
way off… I gotta do a lot more improving and work my way up. The
first step on that ladder, is to build up a winning streak, as I
did when I won EIGHT matches in a row! The second step up that
ladder was to be taught that in this business, you can NEVER get
complacent, which I was taught by losing 3 matches in a row…
including the Tag Title match. But Rhyno, I did NOT deserve to lose
ANY of those matches. We WERE SCREWED outta the tag team title
number one contenders match by that son of a bitch Nasdon, and
then… to top that off… an under par performance from Engle cost me
the titles again… and before that… that Bastard Ric Flair used the
damn brass knucks to beat me… You see Rhyno, if everything was done
fairly… id be on an 11 match unbeaten run, we would be the tag team
champions, and I’d be competing not to be a champion, but to be a
DOUBLE champion. Now thanks to Nasden and some well placed Brass
Knucks… I’ve got virtually nothing to build on… but don’t you think
that will get to me… because I am John Cena, leader of Revolution,
and I WILL SOON BE THE FIRST CHAMPION IN REVOLUTION HISTORY!!!”
Rhyno: “Yea you’re right John… anyway,
isn’t it time we went out to the ring and told your thugomaniacs
about the match coming up… after all it is a title match!”
Cena: “Yea I suppose your right… ok lets do it”
(Revolution by Motorhead blasts out around the arena as John Cena
and Rhyno make their way to the ring. The crowd go absolutely wild
as they taunt on the apron, then enter the ring. Cena goes onto the
turnbuckle and taunts again, before dropping down, and receiving a
microphone from Rhyno. The Crowd begin the Cena chant, but are
quickly silenced by Cena’s voice)
Cena: “Well, well, well fans, here I am, the Doctor of Thugonomics,
the Franchise! THE CHAMP IS HERE!!! Or at least, next week, once
and for all, with REAL meaning I will be able to say that! You see,
back in my WWE Days, I had 2 reigns as WWE United States
Heavyweight CHAMPION!!! And I assure you all, there is NO better
feeling in this world, then having a piece of gold around your
waist wherever you go…. Than having people come up to you in the
street and saying “oh my god, it’s the champ!” or “Hi champ, how’s
it going?”! There is nothing better than having your fellow
superstars look up to you, respecting you, being JEALOUS of your
gold! And this coming Shockwave, John Cena will once again taste
that sweetness that is Championship glory!!! Denis Kettleburg does
not STAND A CHANCE against me!!! Denis Kettleburg has lost to me
before… and he WILL lose to me this week, and WILL lose his title…
because when Cena is in the ring, the crowd sits still… unless they
are cheering my name, and takes note of what is happening. All
those superstar Wannabies that pay money to watch great talent
think to themselves “Wow, I wish I had the talent of that John
Cena. He’s the best newcomer this company has ever seen, and he
SHOULD HAVE a Championship Belt” Well after next Shockwave, they
will not have to think that, because they can think “My GOD HE
DESERVED THAT!!!” You see Denis, no disrespect, but I beat you with
ease when I was just learning the basics… look at me now, and
Championship Contender already… you are gonna prove NO MATCH for
me! And deep down you know it! So you better count down the hours,
because as soon as the referee collects the belt from you before
our match, that’s when you have to have already said your goodbyes,
and that will be just before the tears start rolling done your
cheeks, as it finally sinks in to your head that John Cena is the
better man, and the TRUE EMF TELEVISION CHAMPION! SO Kettleburg,
don’t get too attached to that damn belt… because just as quickly
as you won it, it will be taken away from you, in your very first
defence. You don’t have what it takes to be a champion here, so
it’s about time the limelight was given to somebody who can
actually handle it… like for example JOHN CENA! You see Denis, you
always hung around with that loser Kurt Engle, and you saw what
happened last week at the PPV, Engle was a disgrace… and ultimately
cost me my chance to win the tag team championships! But ask
yourself one question Denis, why did you win the number one
contenders match… and then not get the shot? Why would Kurt rather
team up with me than you? The answer is simple… because I’m that
much better than you Denis… and inside somewhere you do know it!
Not only have I beaten you one on one, but your partner decided to
team with me and not you… and you even think you have a chance with
the Franchise! Why don’t we take a little opinion poll right here
right now.. if you think Denis Kettleburg has even a slight chance
of beating me… Let me hear you now!”
(Cena’s words are granted with a soft booing, before he shouts “And
who thinks I will KICK DENIS’S ARSE” which is followed by loud
cheering from ALL the crowd!)
Cena: “Exactly as I thought… see Denis, the crowd think I’ll win…
Revolution think I’ll win… hell probably the whole locker room
thinks I’ll win… but Denis… who do you have backing you… you have
nothing Denis, you beat Neddie when he was at his weakest… and all
of a sudden you think you are a great hot shot champion… well I
hate to break it to you, but losing the title on your first defence
doesn’t make you great, it makes you a man who got lucky, then had
his dreams ended by a real champion! Coz once you’ve faced the
Doctor of Thugonomics, and once you know what it’s like to lose a
title, you are gonna wish you had never beaten Neddie… coz let me
tell you from experience, it feels better to have never held a
title, than it does to have held it and lost it so quickly.
However, you may have this problem, but I wont, because once I win
the title, I will not lose it for a LONG time, and that is a
promise to ALL my thugomaniacs! And when at last I do give it up,
it will probably be me forfeiting the belt to make way for a
bigger, more important title. But the TV Title is a belt I have a
lot of respect for, it has had some great champions in the past,
like Neddie for example, and I will be so honoured when whoever is
refereeing my match hands me the title, because FINALLY the
Thugomaniacs will be rewarded for their loyal support, and also,
the fans will finally have a TV Champion they can be proud of. So
EMF fans, well, all you lucky ones tha managed to get tickets to
Shockwave, make sure you got your banners written, and your
chanting my name as much as possible during my match... because
what would you rather be saying after my match... "My God, I can't
believe i cheered for that loser Kettleburg..." or "HA i told you
John Cena would win it..."! Because Shockwave wil definately be a
night i never forget, when i hold my first EMF Championship, make
sure it's the night you sit back, take note, and then say, in a
whiles time when i win the EMF Heavyweight Title, "I was there when
it all began! I was there when Cena won his first title! I WAS
THERE WHEN THE WORLD REALISED CENA IS THE GREATEST THING IN THIS
INDUSTRY!!! Because one day, you are all gonna think back to this
moment, and realise that i AM the Franchise player of EMF, that i
AM the Doctor of Thugonomics, and that i AM the best thing ever to
happen to the EMF! And then, anyone that has ever doubted me,
anyone thats ever looked down at me, anyone thats EVER said I
couldn't make it, you will be well and truely proven WRONG, and you
will al hail me as your CHAMPION!!! But that day is a long time
off, for now, i will concentrate on winning the EMF's Television
Title, because as i've said Denis, you CANNOT beat me, and you WILL
NOT beat me! Yea so people have beaten me in the past... but only
Ric Flair has EVER beaten me one on one... lets think, who has
beaten Kettleburg one on one... one name springs to mind
automatically, JOHN CENA has beaten you one on one before... and i
PROMISE all of you in this arena tonight, that i WILL beat
Kettleburg again, I WILL be your champion, and i WILL make sure
everyone knows just how right each and everyone of you was to back
me, all you fans of other high up wrestlers like Angelus or De
Kreek... you guys, yea, maybe you supported them before they were
big... or maybe you just jumped on the bandwagon... but if ANY of
you doubted me, well this week, at Shockwave, is the time when i
show what I am worth, show what I can really do, and finally, once
and for all, defeat a Champion in a CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH!!!"
Rhyno: "And Revolution will all be cheering for you John... you got
all our support, 100%"
(Revolution blasts out again as John Cena and Rhyno exit and go off
backstage, and the scene closes!)
