Hello from Lithuania!
Kid Koala arrived in our 2nd class and 3th class at Piliakalnis Secondary School in Lithuania, Alytus, in February.  We were excited to find him on all of our computers at our tables.  We wanted to learn more about Koalas, so on Monday  we went to the library and found posters and books about koalas.
Last week we read about Koalas in our lessons. In science we wrote interesting facts about Koalas. We caunted in maths lessons with help of Koala. We drew and painted in art lessons.
We make a snowman with Koala and also we make a throne for Koala. We had a lot of fun!
Just a little about our town. Alytus is the sixth largest city settled along both banks of the Nemunas River. The first mention about Alytus is found in the 1377. Alytus  is a nice green city with several parks, a small Dailide Lake, beautiful old part of the city and nice people. The largest river in Lithuania the Nemunas flows through Alytus.
