Loud music played threw out the room as Angel slowly moved threw the dark corners of the Bronze. Willow:So you miss Angel?
Buffy:Yeah. A LOT. I know we're not able to be together,but I can't
help...
Willow:Help what?
Buffy:Help loving him.
Angel's ears percked up. Loving me? She can't help loving me?
Willow:I'm sorry Buffy. But, that's why we're here !Remember?T o get
happy. You've felt terrible all week. It's time for some fun.
Buffy smiled sadly:I just lost the love of my life and you want me to
have
fun?
Willow:Oh I didn't mean to-sorry-I just...I want you to be happy.
Buffy:No I'm sorry.I know you want to help,but I just-I'm gonna go.
Dracula:Ah Angelus.I thought some one was trailing me. I'm suprised to
see you
here.
Angel:You too. Your tracking the slayer?
Dracula:Yes.Why? Am I on your terph? Were you planning on killing her?
Angel:Are you?
Dracula:No. This slayer is different then any I have known. She is very
beautiful,independant,and pure.I always did enjoy turning the virgins.
Angel became angry. Turn? He didn't care if Dracula was a zillion times
stronger then him. He wasn't going to touch his true love. But now wasn't
the
time to attack.He had to come down.
Angel:I-I remember.
Dracula:I have things to do.I will see you later Angelus.
Dracula walked past Angel and dissapeared into the darkness.
Angel:Damn it.
Angel climbed up onto Buffy's roof and gentle knocked. Buffy,who had
just
crawled into bed,rose and came to the window.She smiled and opened it.
Buffy:Angel?W hat are you doing here?
Angel:Theres trouble. Can I come in?
Buffy:Oh yeah,sure.
Angel entered her bedroom window and stood infront of her questioning
eyes.
Angel:You are in danger, Buffy. Big danger.
Buffy: Of course if not you wouldn't be here. Would you?
Angel:I ah...Dracula is in town.
Buffy:Dracula? As in the count?
Angel:Yes.
Buffy:I'm guessing he wants to kill me in some horrible way?
Angel:He um,he wants to turn you. Believe me Buffy when he wants
something, he get's it. I knew him about a hundred and forty years ago. He's brutal
Buffy.You don't want to try and face him.
Buffy:We should see Giles...great!
Angel:What?
Buffy:He left town.He'll be back tomorrow or the next day.
Angel:I don't want you here alone.Dracula could come back,and he
doesn't need an invite.
Buffy smiled shyly.
Buffy:You could stay on my floor again.
Angel:O-okay.
Buffy:And you don't have to spend the day in the closet. Mom went to New
York
for the weekend.
Angel smiled and Buffy went to get extra sheets.He felt al ittle
nervous
about sleeping next to Buffy with the knowledge that no one could
interrupt
them, but he pushed it aside with his concern for her. Buffy returned
with a
set of sheets identical to hers.
Buffy:Here.I'll close the curtains so you don't get burned tomorrow.
Angel smiled:Thanks.
Buffy closed the curtains,then they bothe layed down.

Angel woke up to find Buffy wasn't in bed any more. He stood and walked
out of the room to find the whole house was covered in darkness. He walked down
her stairs and stopped at the kitchen door.He heard Buffy's voice.
Buffy:Yeah he's here now...Yeah Giles is completely informed. Yes He
will be home soon...I know isn't it cool...okay I have to go,but-okay...yeah...bye

Buffy sat the kitchen phone down and Angel entered the kitchen.
Buffy:Oh!Hi.Didn't know you were there.
Angel:Sorry.
Buffy:It's okay. I called Giles,and he says he should be home tomorrow
morning.
Angel:Good.
Buffy:He said we should start researching Dracula tonight
though.I-ah-he
thought maybe you could help in that department.You said you knew him?
Angel:Yeah.It was awhile ago though.He likes high profile places,he's
not one
to hide you know. He only picks select people to turn, but when he
chooses some
one...I haven't heard of any one preventing him.He likes...
Buffy:Likes?
Angel:He likes virgins.
They both looked down uncomfortabley. Buffy blushed a light pink.
Buffy:How-how can vampires tell if-you know?
Angel:W-we just sorta can.It's a vibe thing.
Buffy turned away from him.
Buffy:Oh.
Angel came up to her and placed his hands on her shoulders.
Angel:You don't have to be shy about it Buffy. You don't have to be shy
about
any thing when it comes to me.
She turned around and her lips were only about a heartbeat from his.
Buffy:I-I know.I trust you Angel.
He smiled and their lips closed in on each others. Angel pulled Buffy
closer
to him so he could feel her wormth,and he did.It spread over his cold
and
made him feel alive.But,then again,just loving her made him feel
alive. Buffy
wrapped her arms around his neck and deepened the kiss. She was
disappointed
when air became a issue and she had to pull away.
Buffy:Wow.That was intense.
Angel:It was.
Angel cupped her cheeks with his hands. He looked deep into her eyes.
Angel:I don't want to stop a relationship that feels so right.
Buffy:Me niether.
Angel:So...what are we...dating?
Buffy:Yeah.If you want to-

They leaned closer to each other,about to share another kiss,when the
doorbell rang.
Buffy:Great.Just hold that thought...or action.
She raced to the door. Leaving a very frustrated Angel alone in the
kitchen.Buffy opened the door to find Xander standing in front of her. He
walked in with out a invite. Buffy closed the door.
Buffy:What the hell are you doing here Xander?
Xander:Where is he?
Buffy:Who?
Xander:Dead boy.
Buffy:He's in the kitchen. What are you doing here?
Xander:I'm staying here today. I want to make sure he doesn't try
anything
funny with my sixteen year old friend.
Buffy:Damnit Xander I'm fine.
Angel entered the room.
Angel:Xander.
Xander:Angel.
Dracula sat in his big black leather chair and rubbed his palms against
his
legs.So,Angelus had a interest in the slayer? Dracula had seen the glint
of
anger in Angelus's eyes when he mentioned turning the slayer.
Oh well.
Let Angelus come. He would fight for that slayer if it was the last
thing he
did.

Xander glared at Angel,noticing Buffy's pink lip gloss all over his
lips.
Xander:Been busy.
Angel:I don't think that's any of your business Xander.Me and Buffy
were
busy,so I think you should leave.
Xander:Do you?
They stepped closer to each other and Buffy stepped between them.
Buffy:OKAY!Stop it right now you two.Xander,LEAVE!
Xander looked at both of them.
Xander:Fine.(He pointed at Angel.)But,if you hurt her I will...find
some one
much larger to hurt you.
He left.
Buffy:Where were we?
Angel:About to kiss again.
Buffy:Right...
They locked lips and wrapped their arms around each other.It was going
to be a
good day.
When 8:00 pm. came around all the scoobies met in the library. They had
been
working for about three hours when Willow finally found some
information.
Willow:Ah huh!
Buffy,who sat on Angel's lap,looked up from her book.
Buffy:What?
Willow:It talks about Dracula and his turned victums. It says he likes
to make
a relation ship with her or him.They have to want to be taken...they
have to
'burn for him'.They ah,they have to be under his thrall.
Buffy:Oh and he thinks he can make a slayer fall for a vamp so easily?
Buffy got looks from every one including Angel.
Buffy:You know what I mean. I'm not going to go under his thrall or
whatever. I
have some one I care for alot and he is not getting my
heart.(She
looks at Angel.)It's taken.
They kiss. Xander rolled his eyes.
Angel smiled:He can still get to you Buffy. He has ways.And you don't
need to
love him to be taken under his thrall. He draws you in with his charm
and...
They all look at Angel oddly.
Angel:What?
Buffy:Nothing.(A change of subject was in order.) Um,Giles should be
home soon
so I say we go home and rest.Especially if we have a battle to fight
soon.
They all said their good byes,and left Buffy and Angel to clean up the
research books.
Buffy:Well,that was boring.
Angel:Yeah.
Buffy walked over to him and wrapped her arms around his neck.
Buffy:Let's make out on the library table!

Giles walked slowly into the library.It was about 8:15 and he had just
gotten
home. He gasped and turned around when he saw Angel and Buffy.Angel was

boxers and his large duster covered most of Buffy as they slept.
Giles:Um wake up you two! Now!
Angel and Buffy stired and Buffy clung to Angel's chest.
Angel:Uh,Giles.
Giles decided it would be best not to turn around and talk to them in

current state.
Giles:I think you both should get dressed right away.
They did.
Buffy and Angel told Giles he could turn.
Giles:Well,since I'm not one to pry I won't.I um think we should move
on to
the problem at hand.(Buffy and Angel nodded. Both oviously didn't want
to
talk about this situation.)What have you found out about Dracula?
Dracula stood in the darkness of his room infront of his fire
place. Tonight. Tonight he would attack the slayer.Tonight he would find
out
why Angelus cared so for her...tonight.

Buffy and Willow sat in the stacks while Giles discussed something with
Angel
in his office.It had been a long day and was now 7:50.Willow and Buffy
sat
talking about the incident that morning.
Willow:I can't believe he found you guys asleep on the library table. I
will
never look at the table the same way again.
Buffy:What about me and Angel? We spent three hours of unadulterated sex
on
it!
Willow:Okay I'm definately never looking at you the same way again.
They both laughed.
Giles:Girls! I think we have a solution!
They rose and walked down the stairs. Angel stood slightly behind
Giles. He
looked angry.
Angel:No.We.Don't.
Giles:It may be the only way to defeat Dracula!
Angel:No.
Buffy:No what?
Giles:Buffy,if a vampire drankes the blood of a slayer they become very
strong.If Angel dranks your blood...he will probably be able to face
Dracula.
Buffy looked at Angel.
Buffy:It's a plan.
Angel:A bad plan.
Buffy walked over to him and took her hands in his.
Buffy:Angel-
Angel:Buffy!Don't.We don't even know if he'll still want you. Remember
he
likes...you know. And your not...you know,any more.
Buffy:But,still.We've got to stop him.Are you saying just because he
walks
away means I should let him? I should let a dangerous vamp roam
around.I
can't.
She took his face in her hands.
Buffy:Angel please.
Angel:Okay,but I'm only doing this for YOU. I love you.

They kissed and hugged.Then they pulled away and looked at the others.
Buffy:Let's do this.
Dracula approached SunnyDale High School.She was inside and so was
Angelus. He opened the swining doors and crossed the thresh hold into the slayers world. Buffy closed her eyes and Angel pulled her hair back. He to closed his eyes as they changed from brown to yellow and sunked his sharp fangs into her neck. Her blood filled his mouth and as soon as he dranked it down he
felt it course threw his vains. It was the purest blood he had ever tasted. It was the essance of her life...his true loves life...
He could hear her heart slow.His true love was dieing.Only now did this
fact register as he fought past his demon and yanked away from her.She fell
to the floor and Giles rushed to her. Xander and Willow who had watched the seen could hardly move.
Giles: Are you alright?
Buffy:No...but I'll live.
Voice:I wouldn't be to confident about that slayer.
They all turned their eyes to Dracula who stood before them.Angel,who
was feeling pretty damn powerful at the moment walked to him.He stood there
for a
moment.
Dracula:Are you going to fight me Angelus.
Angel:You bet I am.
Dracula:Because of a mortal? A slayer?
Angel:Yes.
Dracula looked Angel over.
Dracula:You love her?
Angel:Yes.
Dracula laughed,then punched Angel with out warning.Dracula was so
strong
Angel flew across the room.
Dracula:To think a creature like you could ever truly love!
Angel got up and went to punch Dracula, but Dracula blocked it and
kicked
Angel in the stomach. Angel doubled over in pain.
Dracula:I'll kill her and then you'll see!(Dracula turned tords a weak
Buffy
and her frightened friends.)You'll see how weak love is!
Angel closed his eyes and saw flashes of Buffy smiling, Buffy breathing
deeply
as she sleeped,and Buffy laughing so hard she cried.He wanted to see
her
laugh like that again.He needed to see her laugh like that again.
Angel stood and tackled Dracula to the ground.He landed on top of him
and repeatedly hit him in the face .Dracula hit Angel once,but was over
whelmed by Angelus's sudden rage and strangeth.Angel looked up at Willow and met her eyes,then his eyes traveled to a stake on the counter. She got the
massege and she grabbed it and threw it to him.
POOF.
Angel got up and walked to his love.He lifted her in his arms and she
whimpered his name.
Angel:Shhh.Your gonna be okay.It's gonna be okay.
