My advice
Eat mints! Mints help calm the stomach and intestines. There is something in them that calm the digestive system and makes you get over nausea. That is an extra bonus.

Be optimistic. It helps!

Laugh! That enhances the body's immune system.

Talk to your teachers they will understand. If you can't tell them yourself check with the nurse. I am sure that he/she will help you.

Stress can contribute to having flare-ups. Learn stress relaxation techniques such as yoga, cross-stitching, or something that requires patience and not requiring you to think very much.

If you are feeling depressed or something like that write it down. Writing it down lets you get it out of your system. Write down in your journal your good days also then when you get depressed and start thinking about the why-me questions it will tell you that you felt good at one time and you will be more motivated to not think about the why-me questions as much because you will believe that you will get better.

For the heck of it say you are thankful that you have Crohn's Disease. I know that is an odd approach. Just think that you are glad that you have Crohn's Disease vs. another disease that robs you of everything. WHen you think about it that way you will realize that you are thankful for it.
