*************** RICH AND POOR $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Vegeta threw the book away. "Look he's not in any of the books and I've
already spend one hour helping you! I got other things to do; I'm going to be
king in a few days... So, beat it!" He sighed; helping was not his best
area. Bulma looked up. "I need help! So I give a shit if it's from a prince
or someone else!" Vegeta had picked up the diary and was reading in it
ignoring Bulma. "HALLO! I'm talking to you!" He simply turned a page.
Bulma growled. "I need to find BOXER BRIEFS!!!!!!" Vegeta once again
just turned a page. "You are going to be the worst king," she mumbled.
"Excuse me Miss I couldn't help overhearing that you were looking for Boxer
Brief." Bulma looked up on the old male. He was dressed as a royal guard or
something. "General Bardock, just ignore her. She's nothing more than a
maid," another male said. Vegeta snorted. "Just tell her what you
know!" The general sat down next to her. "Well," he began,
"Boxer Brief was a scientific genius. He invented the material that was
used to build the castle." Bulma looked around. "Wow." The
general cleared his throat, "if I can continue?!" Bulma blushed, and
lowered her eyes, "yes of course. I apologies." "Well as I said
he invented the material, and he also designed the castle. His favourite room I
believe was this." "Oh yes now I remember him. I believe I was 5, and
he build this castle with the new materiel so that it wouldn't burn as the last
one." The general nodded. "My prince is right. Unfortunately after a
year, just when the castle was done, his daughter disappeared. Some people said
that she had been kidnapped, others said that Mr. Brief had killed her. Her name
was Bloomers, I believe. Actually the prince used to know her..." Bulma
looked at Vegeta, and he shrugged, "I was young, and foolish."
"She was never found, and the Briefs family moved to a small town. Boxer
Briefs' wife Bunny Brief died of illness few years later. And Boxer Brief was
left alone in a huge house with lost of money... 3 years later he died heart
broken. And left the heritage to the young Bloomers, if she ever found her way
home. Many tried to get the money, but not one of them could prove that they
were Bloomers. First of all she had a very rare hair and eye colour. I believe
it was the same as yours Miss." Bulma lifted a lock of her blue hair,
"blue is odd?" She mumbled to herself. "And ugly!" Came the
comment from the prince. "Well I don't know much more about her than the
fact that she should have been my prince's mate, wife, or queen, whatever the
young ones call it today..." Bulma raised an eyebrow, and looked at Vegeta.
Well if she had been kidnapped, and this Bloomer or Bloomers were she, then one
good thing had come out of it; she wouldn't have to marry Vegeta.
"Miss?" Bardock waved the hand in front of her face. Bulma starred at
him coming back from her thoughts. "Did you say something?" "Yes
Miss, and for a young girl I would pay more attention when men speaks to you,
though for a girl of your standards it won't happen often! Now can I ask you a
simple question, since I helped you?" Bulma thought of a clever remark, but
the only one she could come up with was; yeah, and so what? So instead she
bit her tongue, and nodded. "Yes sir, you may!" Vegeta snorted, and
returned to his favourite book, her diary. "Well why were you looking so
desperately for Mr. Briefs?" Bulma glanced at Vegeta, now she had his full
attention, ~ oh, I might be Bloomers! Well my parents are bastards you can read
it in the book that my was-to-be husband is holding. Nah! ~ "Well if you
are not busy?" The General shook his head; "I got until evening!"
"And if you won't mind showing me the city the Briefs lived in?"
Bardock sighed. "Look Miss-" "Then I'll tell one very interesting
story!" The General sighed again, smiled, and got up; he offered his hand
to Bulma, who took it smiling. She was a very interesting woman indeed. Much
different from the rest of the scared crowd, he always saw. Vegeta watched them
leave. ~ Now you're stupid! Just follow or demand her to tell you the story, if
you are so interested! Though I have a nagging feeling that she won't tell me no
matter what I do. ~

Bulma jumped of her horse to glare at the house. It was a sight of death. The
house was very old, and everything seemed to be either overgrown with plants or
just broken. The house was ugly, and the ground was buried in grass. She watched
the house in terror, and an odd feeling made her almost cry, if this was her
home, her only way to freedom, it was gone, broken. Completely destroyed.
"I know," the General said also jumping down off his horse. "It's
a terrible sight. Now Miss since I've kept my part of the deal, it's your turn
to keep yours!" Bulma swirled around; the General easily noticed the
saddened look in her eyes. Then she took a 180 and smiled. "Yes General,
but first you have to promise that it'll stay between us!?" He looked
shocked, what was so dangerous that she wanted no others to know. "Alright
Miss. I promise!" Bulma laughed. "If you don't keep your word I'll
have to kill you! But let's not think of that yet, care to take a walk with me
while I talk?" The General quirked an eyebrow, but non the less offered his
arm to her. Bulma took it, and started telling her tale while they walked.
"First General I have to admit that I've been wanting to get this of my
heart for years." The older male looked at her with a questioning glare.
"Fine, fine, I won't drag it no longer! Well to answer your first question,
the reason why I have been looking for Boxer Brief, is that I might expect
myself to be Bloomers!" The General shook his head. "You might look
like her, but you won't get the money just for that!" "No General, you
see, I hadn't even heard of the heritage, until you told me. No, I found
this," she said handing him the letter, and picture. "My parents
aren't exactly loveable, so I was deeply hoping to find a way to freedom-"
"Freedom?" He asked. She sighed. "My father abuses me, yes I know
I'm far from the only one. But I have never believed a father would be able to
well sexually abuse his own child. So after a few years I found out that I was
adopted. But not many adopts now a days, so I've always had this funny feeling
about it." She stopped, "General I surely hope that I can trust you,
for the next that I tell you could get you killed." He starred into her
blue eyes, and she saw nothing but understanding in his eyes, no lust, no funny
thoughts. Just trust, and understanding. This made her secure and she gave
herself a mentally hug, before she continued. "Also my folks has no
money. And I've been stealing for them for years, ever since I was old enough to
fight. Yes General I fight, I'm better than most of your guards, and might even
you. I'm famous, but I go under a name. The one person, who has been even close
to catch me, well he actually did catch me, but I escaped, was the prince. And
yet he never saw my face. But now he has my diary, which I find terribly
disturbing." She stopped to look at him. "General, the girl standing
before you is; The Blue Shadow!" He looked at her for a second then shook
his head. "Girl you almost had me convinced there." He turned to
leave. "Care to test?" She asked smirking. He turned to face her
again. "Very well girl, but if you get hurt, I will not take
responsibility!" General Bardock charged at her, but before he could reach
her, she had neatly jumped over him, and kicked him in the back of his head.
This far from ended the fight, but at least it convinced him.

They were sitting at the edge of a cliff as the sun started to set. The clock
was around 5 and they had been sitting silent for a long while. After Bulma had
told the rest of her story, they had just seated themselves on the cliff. The
General had a hard time adjusting to the large piece of information the young
girl had told him. "I can't believe The Blue Shadow was on the castle all
along." Bulma grinned; she had told him that she had only been there to try
out for the role as queen, she hadn't told him about her plans with the
jewels... "Shall we leave General?" Bardock looked up. "Yes I
better get home for dinner anyway. Say why don't you join us?" Bulma
starred wide-eyed. "Really?" He laughed. "Sure why not?!"

Vegeta stared around, it had been a cupcake to find 200 girls he wanted to get
rid of, but it was still tough to decide which ones he actually wanted to stay.
~ Let's see, no blondes, no mask girl, no fat girls, and no stupid girls. ~
There was around 10 girls left, or he thought so. But as he counted, he
discovered that there was still missing one. He looked over at the pile he had
decided to get rid off, and shuddered. He really couldn't choose a queen between
any of them. Suddenly a man came up to him. "My highness," he said
bowing. "What?" Vegeta snapped. "A young girl is missing, we have
one to little. Her name should be, um Incognito." (Heh, heh ^.^) Vegeta
raised an eyebrow. "Was she wearing a mask?" "Could be!" The
male said, still face in the ground. ~ Great, if she died, she won't bug me. And
that fixes my problem. One masked girl back on the list. Too bad she's dead. ~

Bulma starred at the food, it looked so good. She could get used to eat like
this. The family was actually pretty big. His wife: Brocolino. His too sons:
Raditz, and Kakkarot. Kakkarot's wife: Son-Chichi, their son: Son-Gohan Bardock,
and then there was himself: Bardock. She smiled; this was what she'd always
wanted, a family, too bad it wasn't hers. After the meal the three women's
helped each other doing the dishes. "So I hear you live at the
castle," Brocolino said. "Oh, I," Bulma stopped to think, it
would be better if she just went along with Bardock's story. "I merely
serve the royal house as a maid." Chichi placed some plates on a shelf.
"Well that is better than being a waiter in a pub." "Or being a
whore," Brocolino said. Bulma smiled a dried a glass. "I'd much rather
have your lives! To have such neat husbands certainly isn't a common sight in
these days." The other two women blushed. "But one day it will! One
day women will be equal to men!" Bulma said raising one of her fits as if
she was ready to battle. "I'm very sure there will, if there're a more of
your kind," a masculine voice said. Bulma turned to face Raditz. The other
to women laughed as Bulma blushed to a pretty crimson colour. "Oh Raditz
don't tease the women, just because Lilly is out of town!" Kakkarot said
coming into the room also. He kissed Chichi on the cheek. "We better get
home it's getting late. And Son-Gohan is getting tired!" Bulma bit her
lower lip. She had forgotten about the prince's ball. "Oh, I better get
going too." They all bid farewell and she took off towards the castle. She
ran into her room, and changed in a quarter of a second, and then she spurted
down the hall to the ballroom. She stopped just a second to catch her breath.
Then advanced the door. "What's your name Miss, only the prince and his
chosen 10 is allowed in the room." Bulma frowned. "Incognito!"
The guard moved, to let her in. Bulma starred at him. "Uh, excuse me?"
"Miss Incognito," the guard said showing her the list he was holding.
Miss Chocolate Miss Convert Miss Mina Miss Ferrari Miss Rosy Miss Salatine Miss
Cucum Miss Moon Miss Cabbagine .......Miss...Incognito..... ? *Thumb*

Bulma awoke feeling sore. ~ It was just a dream, thank god. I have to study
plans over the castle today; I also have to steel the jewels either tonight or
tomorrow. And I need to appear to the prince's ball. ~ "Miss?" Bulma's
eyes fluttered open. A few persons were looking down on her, they all looked
concerned save for Vegeta, whom looked... angry?! Bulma sat up; she was placed
on a sofa, or something, inside the ballroom. "Miss are you okay?"
Asked the male in armour standing next to her. "Me?" "No the
queen of mars," Vegeta said mocking her. "She's fine you can
leave!" He was indeed angry. Bulma wondered why. So she got up dusting of
her dress, and went down to ask him. He was standing alone in a corner, watching
the other nine girls. "Why are you angry my lord?" She asked, wanting
to get on his good side. "Because of your present!" He said simply,
not even looking at her. "Oh is that so. What have I do-" Bulma was
cut of by Vegeta. "Why aren't you wearing your mask today Miss 'Inconigto'?"
He spat. Then he left, not even giving her a chance to answer. Bulma watched him
leave with a shocked impression. What had he meant? Her...? Oh no?! Bulma raised
a hand to her face. ~ N-no mask? ~ She took a deep breath, things had went from
bad to worse ever since she had decided to stay at the castle. A girl with a
lovely curly black hair advanced her. Her marine-blue eyes seemed to light up
the room. Bulma bit her lower lip; she wasn't even half as pretty as that girl
was. "Hi," the young woman said. "We haven't met, my name is
Moon, Miss Cherry Moon. Just call me Moon!" Bulma smiled, she was friendly,
outwards, pretty, seemed to be born to attempt the role as queen. "My name
is," Bulma paused. "Inconigto! Bloomers Inconigto!" The girls
smiled to each other, then Bulma spoke. "What are we supposed to do?"
The girl laughed. "Get the prince's attention!" Bulma smirked.
"Really, what do you say, let's throw water on the hiiighness?" Moon
giggled behind her hand. "Oh no Miss Inconigto, in a good way!"
"I think that's a terrific way to get his attention!" Bulma laughed at
her own joke, while Moon was covering her smile with her hand. "Show me
around!" Bulma said. "Please..." Moon nodded smiling.
"That'll be my pleasure, no one in here is that chatting anyway."
Bulma rolled her eyes. "You don't say." Vegeta kept an eye on the two
as they walked around in the room chatting. Miss Moon was lovely, but too lovely
for Vegeta's taste. No he needed something less angelic, the uncut diamond.
"If you will excuse me just a second." Moon said making a curtsy.
Bulma nodded and waved the young woman away. "Just go." She starred at
the room, "is this my fathers work?" She asked herself. "Talking
to us self are we?" Bulma didn't even look at Vegeta. "Do you like an
explanation for the mask?" Vegeta smirked. "Yes Miss, I'd very much
like one!" "Too bad, you would have gotten it before if you hadn't
just stomped off!" With that she left, the stunned prince. ~ Something less
angelic, yet beautiful, and clever. No! Not Miss secretly, she wouldn't make a
good queen with all her secrets. ~
Bulma listened to the music playing softly. ~ I wish I had someone to dance
with. ~ "Bloomers?" Bulma swirled around. "Oh hi."
"What did you talk to the prince about?" Asked Moon. Bulma shrugged,
"why I wasn't wearing a mask today." "Wow." Moon said.
"I'm standing before the next queen." Bulma coughed shocked. "Me?
He either hates me or despise me." "But he-" "What? Nearly
speak to me? Mock me? Hate me? Yells at me?" Moon held a hand up in
defends. "No, what I meant to say was that he noticed you. He gave you
attention. Only Cabbagine has talked to him, besides you." Bulma snickered.
"Oh yes, love at first sight..." Moon gasped and Bulma turned to look
in her direction. Bulma bit her tongue not wanting to seem jealous, cause she
wasn't, but still the sight of the prince dancing with that nut-brown haired,
dark puppy eyed, brown skin, dream body, beautiful girl, brought lots of funny
remarks in her head. "He looks like a real good dancer!" Moon muttered
in a dreamy state. "Yeah, like a- ugh. Yeah real good," Bulma inhaled
deep. ~ Be strong, and keep the remarks to yourself! You can do it! And if not,
I can just claim myself insane... ~ She shook her head and went to stare out the
window. She enjoyed the view, and this also kept her out of problems. ~ Some day
I'll find my way home! Wherever home is... ~
Vegeta nodded to the girl, it was the closest you could get to a thank you. He
offered his arm to her, and they walked for a little until Vegeta stopped,
looking out of a window. Bulma gave them a quick side-glance then turned to
stair back out the window. "What do you think?" Vegeta asked Cabbagine.
"It's fabulous, you can see miles, and miles from here. I believe my prince
this is one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen." Bulma raised an
eyebrow, was she talking from a manual? Or had she just been trained to speak
that way? It sure sounded formal. "Oh is that so?" Vegeta smirked.
"Yes my prince, I believe this view and the castle is the two most amazing
things I've ever seen, besides you..." Bulma's snorted; could she possible
get any further up his ass? The snort was not supposed to be heard, and she
quickly covered her mouth. Vegeta looked at her. "Does Miss secret has
something she wants to share with us?" ~ Okay, be polite, answer quickly
and leave! Good I can do that... ~ "My lord," she began. "I was
simply disagreeing with the other lady..." ~ Good one Bulma! ~ "You do
not like the castle, or the view?" Vegeta asked. ~ How will she react if I
stress her a little? ~ Bulma stuttered. "Uh, I, no that wasn't what I meant
Highness. Bu-but the look from outside is just as beautiful. The landscape bated
in the early morning sun, the young animals creeping out to see the world and
it's wonders, the peasants coming out to work. The birds' song, and the sound of
steps from your horse galloping over the mark. My lord, that I find more amusing
than the view from a castle." "My, my. Maybe the lady is a
philosopher... Tell me, then, what do you think of the castle?" Vegeta had
no intention of letting her stand out as smarter than him; he wanted to break
her of that high pile she was on right now. (Not literally!) "The
castle?" Bulma sighed. "It seems to me that is has both beautiful and
disturbing places. And yet like me, just when you think you know everything,
know every corner, a new door opens..." Vegeta growled. "Miss,"
he said turning back to Cabbagine. "Would you like to dance, then Miss
secret can ponder all she wants without getting disturbed..." With that
they left again, leaving Bulma in what suddenly seemed to be the darkest place
in the room. Though she had won, Bulma somehow felt like the looser.

She entered her small room tired, not caring a damn about the stupid crown
jewels. She lay down on her bed and closed her eyes. Vegeta dancing popped up in
her mind, he didn't spoke or looked at her, he just danced with his invincible
partner. Bulma fell asleep, as Vegeta just danced around in her dreams.

Vegeta cracked his knuckles. "So have you chosen?" His father asked.
"No father, the women's doesn't seem to fit me. But they are the best this
kingdom can offer, well most of them. I promise you that I'll have decided by
this time tomorrow!"
