| ~Bio~ The band from Norway was created in 1992. Morten Veland and Kenneth Olssen started to rehearse a bit together. They managed to get other members and started to write some songs. That was going on for two years with members joining and leaving the band, almost overnight. Lots of changes. In 1994, they got with keyboardist Einar Moen. They started to write more symphonic and orchestral music,instead of the beginning metal/goth rock. Putting it moreinto the metal genre instead of the rock scene. After a little while Morten Veland andEinar Moen left the band and started making music on theirown for half a year. They had some songs lying around and were into making a demo, so they got with Kenneth Olssen to see if he was still interested in making a new band. In the next few months they recruited the other members including Vibeke Stene (which was only supposed to be an appearance on their album, but they decided her voice went well with their sound. So that lineup was formed at the beginning of 1996 and that is the case they've been keeping until after the release of "Beyond The Veil". The first demon they released in 1996 had four songs on it.It was sent around to a few record companies. A few offers came, but the most interesting was from Napalm Records. They signed a deal for three albums and released two full length albums and also redid the demo and made an official release out of that. Between "Windows Weeds" and "Beyond The Veil", a single was released called "Angina" with three songs on it. After Beyond The Veil, Morten Veland left the band, and after the relase ofWorld Of Glass in 2001, Kjetil Ingebrethsen replaced him.Osten Bergsy, who already did guest appearances on the bands albums, became a regular member. |
