:Job Title: Camp Counselor This was my first job ever, which I started doing last summer. This is one of the most fun jobs anyone could ever have. :Location: Southfield Parks and Recreation :Years on the Job: 2 years This summer wasn't as fun as last summer. The best thing about this year was that just about ALL my friends worked at camp too. :Job Description: Actively participate in caring for kids ages 5-6 for day camp in the summer. It's hard when the staff got over-looked because we were seperate from the rest of the camps. We also got short-changed a lot so our fun were sometimes limited.... :Time Span: From June '01- August '01 | June '02- August '02 |
:Job Title: Customer Service and Cashier This was my second job that I got the fall of last year. It turned out to be a LOT of fun. :Location: Farmington Einsteins Bros. Bagel Co. People always wonder why I would go all the way out to Farmington when there is an Einsteins down the street from me....Well my friends actually started working there before me and they told me to apply there. It didn't take that long to get there either (in fact it took exactly 12 mins from the freeway hehe) It also gave me a chance to be in a different environment. :Job Description: I had to learn how to make sandwiches and different drinks. I also had to deal with the money and the customers. I think they had perfect hours to work because they close so early. That left me with a lot of time to do homework or go out with friends. The job wasn't too strenuous either. :Time Span: From October '01- June '02 |
