Okay, people! What is going on in the world today? I have just wrapped up another crazy week, (or did that week wrap itself around 'me'...?) I'm astonished at the things goin' on around me, and how complacent, we in this society have become. What was up with those Halloween Costumes this year? How did some of these parents let these girls go out dressed as "ladies of the night", etc.? Do folks just not watch the news these days? With all that's goin' on in the world, you'd think we'd be more careful, (well, not "we" cause 'mysistah' here don't have those problems - ...oops, I meant to say small 'children,... sorry 'boo). On any given day, you can log onto the Megan's Law website, and more than likely see one of your neighbors or co-workers listed as a pedophile, and here you are letting your small child (girls and boys) show off all the "goodies" out in the neighborhood. People wake up! You don't have to be skimpily dressed to attract unwanted attention, but don't chance it, for yourself, or your child. I'm just concerned y'all - cause we have some really special people out there, and I don't mean that in a "chocolate therapy moment" special. I can speak on this, because I see some disturbing things at times, and as quiet as it's kept, there is a high percentage of cases in our teen pregnancy epidemic in which the parties involved are adults who've involved themselves with underage girls. The sad thing is, I've seen situations where the child really believes her 'baby daddy' (you and I would know him under the term 'offender') is serious about a 'life' with her. It's a downright shame, that they don't even realize they are being molested. I guess I just need to vent about these things because I can't stand the thought of anyone being taken advantage of, especially a child, with the world being in the state it's in today. And you can't do or say too much because everything has to be "considered", and absolutely "politically correct - that's a bunch of hogwash - people need to raise their kids, like back in the day, and quit trippin'. Stand up, take charge, supervise and stop 'buddying (? is that such a word?) up with cha' kids!!! O.K., that bein' said and done, won't make a difference in this perversion and insanity we live in today, but it makes me feel good to know that I 'put it out there' to be considered anyway.

As you can see I have a lot on my mind, and this is just the tip of the proverbial 'ice-berg'. My apologies to anyone reading, if I'm not responding in a timely manner, but my 'plate' is quite full. Aside from pursuing a writing career, I have a typical 9 to 5, a husband and family, and at any given time I could "pull my hair out".
