...did u hear? ... he wants his rainbow back! ...
God left word recently that he wants his Rainbow back, and by all rights, "he" should have it. It's "his." What gave mankind the impression that they could take such a magnificent vision of natural beauty and desecrate it the way they have and do, now? Ask any teenager today what the "Rainbow" symbolizes, and they will most likely tell you with a "straight" face (that is not intended as a pun...) "it means a person is Gay" ... NO, it does not. It was God's promise to man, after the Great Flood, that he would never destroy the world again with water, and the actual scripture is found in the book of Genesis, chapter 9 verses 11 -17.
Now you don't have to agree with me, or any other Christian on this. You may be an Atheist, or just altogether skeptical about the Bible, and it's authenticity or origin, but whether you want to blame it on meteorological events or fumes from jet fuel in the air, you have to acknowledge that the phenomenon of a Rainbow forming in the sky following a rain shower is one of the most beautiful sights you'll ever behold, no matter your age. As a small child, I would follow the length of a rainbow with my eyes, in awe of where it began and wondering where it ended. I always imagined a beautiful place filled with lively, happy people and surrounded by fields covered with flowers and beautiful greenery and calm lakes that sparkled with clean water. It always seemed within reach, and the air seemed to smell cleaner just because it was there. Just looking at how all the colors complimented one another kept me fascinated, and made the whole -experience mesmerizing.
I really don't know what the significance of a Rainbow has to do with one's sexuality, and I'm not here to judge what people do in their private lives. I just feel as if the innocence and purity of our children and generations to come, is being robbed from them, because the true symbolism of God's handiwork in Nature's glory (for those who believe as I do) hasn't been taught to them, and we have sat back and allowed this to happen, in our quest to always be politically correct. I understand the need to "identify" with something, my only wish is that those living and engaging in "Alternative Lifestyles" could, or would find something else to use as their "representation." Not to tap into an "old cliche", but many of those in that lifestyle are quite "creative" aren't they? Come on people ... Get "creative!" You can do it! and everybody else, go ahead if u like a lil' color in your life, and don't be afraid to "rock the Rainbow!"
