We have found that our email doesn't always make it out and that most of the email isn't getting in to us. So please don't be offended if we don't respond to an email. We probably didn't get it. Writing comments in the blog seems to be very reliable.

July 12th. We took Hannah to the market five minutes from here this morning. Everyone comes up and waves to her and squeezes her chubby legs and cheeks. And they give you advice in Chinese and we nod appreciatively and move on. We found out that parents virtually never take their babies shopping in the dept. stores, so that is part of the reason they make such a fuss. Hannah loves all the attention. A woman handed Hannah her shopping points card and Hannah wouldn't let it go. It seems she was born to shop, just like Mumma.
