Our first whole day together was an absolute joy. She hasn't had so much as a cry yet. It's 6:30 am July 10 and she and Mom are still sleeping after a perfect night.

Yesterday we went to the Chongqing City Hall to make the adoption official. She is legally ours now. All we have to do is deal with visas and Canadian immigration.

We also went to Walmart, which was half grocery store and half dept. store. Everyone we passed in the store came racing over to make a fuss over Han. She loved the attention. She is happy and confident wherever we take her, whether it's up a hot and crowded elevator or down a noisy street.
