I haven't made an entry in a long time.  Mostly because I have been working a lot.  I hope that I don't jinx the Mets, but they are still in the middle of the wildcard race.  Before their game with the Marlins tonight, they are 2 1/2 games behind Philly for the wildcard spot.  After beating up Arizona, the Mets offense sputtered against the Giants and Philadelphia.  Now they have a 10 game road trip featuring the Marlins, the Braves and the Cards.  If the pitching can keep them in each game, the Mets will have a shot at a decent road trip.  In fantasy baseball, only one team has a shot at winning the championship.  I have completed all but 1 football draft (I had not checked on that team in a few days, so I should have some players by now).  Labor Day weekend is upon us.  I was going to trek to Nashville, but we might do a day trip to NYC.  By the way, my buddy Ken's team sucks!
