I hooked up the highspeed wireless internet aaaaalllllllllll by myself.   (hence, the blog) Mistletoe slept on "new" couch all day long.  pretty good for 15 bux, eh little girl?  i caught up with bills, changes of address and lost friends for about oh...8 hours.  Ker came home and we played on computers for oh....5 more hours.  ::cross-eyed::  we had quality family time.

so moving back in time a bit:

saturday, the u-haul had to be jumpstarted.  battery died.   uhaul owes me 3 lost hours of unpacking and a bottle of aloe vera for my burnt forehead.

when we tried to return the damn thing, we had to find this underground video store with an itty-bitty black and white uhaul icon where this guy in overalls and a FLANNEL shirt, yes, flannel in 90 degree weather that's what i said....proceeds to confuse himself over the stupid madison-uhaul's claim that we actually drove the truck something like 3000 miles in 3 days (super newlyweds, yah we couldn't help it we just wanted to go to california with all of our stuff first).  this was after madison u-haul proceeded to lose the dolly for the car just 3 hours after i called to confirm its reservation...and if you desire excitement, when i was at the gas station asking for directions to the undisclosed uhaul place, this poor bastards truck lost its e-brake and skidded out onto the 5 or 6 lane highway separated by a hump of grass, rolled down into a stores parking lot, lawn, stopping just short of their gigantic sign.  can you believe the guy had the nerve to get in the truck and drive it back into the parking lot of the gas station again?  ("you naughty truck, i'll put you in your place!")  apparently it happens all the time....

sunday i tried to do laundry cuz we couldn't find any underwears, and the stupid washing machine skipped the spin-cycle.  landlord owes me $2.50 for drying cycle.  ran out of quarters and still had to hang up the darn skivvy's.

did i mention that damn uhaul?  it flat-bottomed at oh....36 miles an hour up 1% grade hill.  so much for that V-6, ya big dummy madison-uhaul idiots!  they owe me 4 hours of driving at less than 90 mph.
