Marine in Dress Blues Bravo

Dress Blues "Bravo" (Male)

This Marine is wearing Dress Blues Bravo
No tie underneath the blouse, just a white T-shirt.
The belt assembly consists of 5 parts.
The belt plus waist plate, buckle or catch.
And two narrow square pieces.
With a square hole stamped out of the center.

Put the blouse on. The belt should be looped through the blouse, both sides.
The waist plate goes on the left side of the belt (wearers left).
By inserting the end of the belt through the square hoop.
On the end of the buckle.
Then insert it through one of the narrow pieces.
Pull up about 5 inches of belt through the narrow piece.
Then fold the belt underside against the body.
And run the end back through the buckle square hoop.
In effect, you'll "fold" the belt back through the waist plate hoop end.
With the narrow piece in place acting as a stop.
To prevent it from sliding out.
Ensure about 4 inches of the belt is folded underside.
Do the same for the catch on the wearer's right.
The rounded end of the catch must face outward and left.
So the waist plate can hook into the square hole cut into it.
Have your Marine latch and adjust the belt until it fits properly.
By pulling the belt and sliding the stop.
Then cutoff the excess belt length.
You should have about 4 inches in length underside on each side.
I recommend washing and machine drying the belt first.
To take-up the shrinking.

I will have to do some research on Women's Dress Blues.
Will add that information to this page as soon as possible.
