I felt a strange wobbling/slapping in my front left tire yesterday on my way to the video store (99 cent Tuesday!).  When I got there, I investigated and found this weird tire split.  Has anyone ever seen this before?  I don't know what I could run over to cause it, so I'm thinking it's a manufacturing defect that should be covered for free.  It's a speed-rated tire, so going too fast (which I like to do) shouldn't cause it either.  Any input?
