I've spent most of the day watching Live Earth. Mr Gore sure  deserves a pat on the back. What a great production. Actually still watching online as I'm embroidering a block for my quilt in progress. Smashing Pumpkins playing. So far my favs were AFI and Alicia Keys. Although I haven't seen all the performances. Hoping Sundance will re-run stuff. I was a bit disappointed that the NETWORKS didn't air the time they said they were going to. And that the internet was the only true live version. This should have been a prime time event for NBC. Jeers to them. They give it a two hour wrap up at night. And I'm very tired of the naysayers saying about all the fuel wasted on these events. If they got their facts straight this was the most eco-friendly event of it's kind.  How many of those nay sayers have change their light bulbs? Hooray for Mr Gore. The planet won one today.
